Hey everyone! I believe there is still much to be decided on what a LOTR Roleplay is going to look like, where it will be hosted, and what new or augmented rules will be in place. This topic is created for the purpose of hammering out details before we create a rebooted RP somewhere. With the Poll feature, we can easily tally votes for choices to be made, when we agree there is a vote to be had.
Please gather as many potential LOTR roleplayers here as possible. We want everyone's input!
In the meantime feel free to answer the first poll question about the timeframe for the rebooted RP, and suggest other decisions to be made.

I just realised we could think about doing a First Age RP although it would be hard to arrange.
I am not sure about that. We have all put a lot of time and effort into organising the Fourth Age RP, and I wouldn't like to see that go to waste. However, it is an interesting idea. Perhaps we could arrange to have the Fourth Age RP here and a First Age RP on Gen 1 or something.

Yeah, I don't want to ditch the plans we have made, but I did want to throw the idea out there so I didn't forget.

A first age RP is out of the question as of now. We should focus on only one RP. Once that one gets going we can consider expanding.
I am going to be of the opinion, that we should remain a Third Age RP, but incorporate the better details of the Fourth Age RP. For instance, different MWE for each HQ, but keeping it even.

Ok, here is a problem, this board won't work as well for RP as well for RP as Gen 1 will, on Gen 1 the profiles are much more suited for RP. Long story short, I say we do the Gen 1 RP for our RP.

Yes, but I've already made my Bios over there and it works like a charm, however my Castle RPC on here was hard to work with.
@all: The profiles here are still default bios and can be tweaked at any time to follow the standard roleplaying format. As unfilled profile slots do not appear on a profile, normal MBers don't have to worry about this feature.

Its me 8legos, I saw this on Friday, but I had to leave and I was gone all weekend. But Now I am here. I'm not going to make a Profile tonight but I probly will soon
I'm here, I found about this from the Gen 1. Though EE your covert link in the planning topic was genus.
I vote to stay in the 4th age, since the set up would much faster than remaking a Third Age RP. Since we just need to repost topics and start.
