So how do I join the RP and how exactly does it work?
Hi, I'm 8legos one of the more experienced RPers here.
First of there is two differn't RPs both set in middle earth.
One is the Fourth Age RP. This one is currently ruining and it follows an unmade story after the LoTR.
We are also in the middle of planing a Third Age RP this is what we had at the old boards, and it follows the story of LoTR.
So you need to pick the RP you want to join. You could join one or the other or both.
You will also need to come to the Training topic where we teach the rules of the RP. The two RP's have pretty much the same rules so if you know the rules for one you are set for the other.
Now on to how does it work.
It will be further explained when you get trained but here is a basic overview.
The RP is set in middle earth, and for this example I will use the Fourth Age RP since that is the up and running one.
There is two sides, good and evil. Each have HQ's. Here is the list of HQ's in the FA RP each HQ is an area or city in middle earth. The Forth age RP is smaller and Only foucses on Gondor and Rohan as well as Mordor and Harad. But the Third Age RP will be large and will cover the whole of middle earth.
HQ list Good: Gondor Dol Amroth Rohan and what is Helms Deep actually its the dwarves that lived there in the Fourth Age, So dwarves.
Evil: Nurn (orcs) Umbar Harad Khand
Each HQ has its striengths and weekness. Umbar and Dol Amroth have navys. Khand and Rohan have good cavalry. Harad has mumakil, Gondor and Umbar have Heavy infintry Ect.
Each HQ also has 'points' know as MWE to spend on differnt units which they fight with. I'll go more into that in the Training topic.
Also there is regions which are based off of regions from middle earth, they can be capuared and give a few troops to the HQ that controls them. T
The point of the RP is to conquer regions and hopefully eventually destroy your opponits HQ.
I know that is a lot to take in. But you'll get the hang of it.
