Hey Diggs! We're still debating what era of Middle-Earth to have RPs for. However, reading LOTR and the Hobbit should be enough for both the 3rd and 4th Age RPs, which are most likely ATM. As for who needs help, well, we'll figure that out once we have the timeframe(s) set.
I do remember you briefly joining Umbar in the LOTR RP on the old MBs. TBH, the only thing I really remember you doing is calling in a mod because CC was taking too long, which caused great confusion and resulted about 8,000 of my troops being declared smashed. But no worries, I won't hold that against you.

And I would be glad to re-teach you any thing you need to know. Don't worry its not that hard. I also have a expansive knowledge of Tolkien and would be glad to help you in that way too. Sorry, I was busy, but at least i'm home this weekend (I was suppose to be up north on a scout outing but that got canceled due to 2+ feet of snow, so my family went hiking all day instead.) hence why I don't feel like loging on. (The posting as guest is so nice for that ).

Not realy, it was a Numenorion colney in the second age, but it got corrupted with all of Numenor. Then in the third age after a Gondorion Civil War (called the kin strife if you want to look it up). The loosing side lead by Castimar fled to Umbar. It is also a pirate haven, if you have seen the LoTR movies, the Corsairs of Umbar are from their.

I am slightly basing the city and the lore on the Byzantine empire (from about 1000 ad to its fall) if that helps.

We had one on the old LoTR form, but that got lost in the move to classics, though I and some others had it mostly saved. We then remade it for the New RP and that is still up. I have the Umbar units on my computer, and will be able to repost it.
