Hey everyone! I believe there is still much to be decided on what a LOTR Roleplay is going to look like, where it will be hosted, and what new or augmented rules will be in place. This topic is created for the purpose of hammering out details before we create a rebooted RP somewhere. With the Poll feature, we can easily tally votes for choices to be made, when we agree there is a vote to be had.
Please gather as many potential LOTR roleplayers here as possible. We want everyone's input!
In the meantime feel free to answer the first poll question about the timeframe for the rebooted RP, and suggest other decisions to be made.

I wouldn't change my thing. Start with 3rd age, and then later add first age, and then finally 4th age. 4th age doesn't hold appeal to me, although it does for others.

I will likely not take part in a Fourth Age RP. I also have learned from Gen1, that the fewer roleplays you have, the better. We have two bionicle RPs, one the original, and one the reboot. The reboot is extremely inactive, and empty while the original is posted in everyday. Just food for thought.

That could work. We should certainly start with 4th Age, as we have that alid out and ready to start, while 3rf Age requires planning.

Not sure what you mean by re-format
Basically, change the setup of the vote to reflect what has been discussed. But it doesn't seem like one can really do this, unless you have special powers as a staff member.
I certainly agree that we shouldn't dive too deep right away, and that one RP is probably our best option. But I would like to give users the chance to decide that. So maybe another poll, with all three ages as options, and can vote for more than one?

We didn't have that back their either really. Also, where would we expand too? I can think of two bad HQs to start with: Moria and Angmar/Gundabad.

If we were to add Angmar and Gundabad, we might as well add everything. They're as far north as we can go, and with the number of regions we'd have to create, it would be easier to make everything under the sun.
