A range of hills located in central Eriador, the North Downs was inhabited by men even prior to Numenorean settlement. Little of note was found here, however, save the once-magnificent city of Fornost Erain, which became the capital of Arthedain following the decline of Annuminas. That city, however, was destroyed by Angmar, which was in turn destroyed by an alliance of Elves, Gondorians, and the Arnorian remnant. Following the fall of Fornost, the land became mostly uninhabited.
In the RP, the North Downs borders Forochel to the north, Evendim to the west, Bree to the south, the Lone-Lands to the southeast, Angmar to the east, and Forodwaith to the northeast. It provides the standard 1,000 MWE for whomever claims it.
Enjoy!

*1,000 troops generated, complete.* *Work continues. Assume work to continue until otherwise stated (i.e. I'm too lazy to figure out when they'll actually finish and to post here every day. ).*

*Troops arrive from Bree. They set up near the southeastern border, and spread out into groups of sentries.*
*Some of the Sentries sight a band of orcs moving with haste into the Lone Lands.* They would have more distance to go, though not much. If you really want to, then I can have a volley of arrows shot, which is. . . 450 or more arrows, which should deal with than number of units in a sentry group for a big region like this.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.
