I don't get why they try to force pink and purple LEGO for girls and then give boys the rest of the colors:S. It just seems weird. And like you said, most girls our age grew up with minifigures, so they don't like that change to minidolls.
I don't get it either. Do people still believe that girls should use/wear pink while boys should use/wear blue?
Colours are colours. Most of the LEGO colours nowadays are terrible.
The worst is the new bluish gray:S.

The bluish grey I know is quite old, though more grey than blue. Are you talking about the blue with a little bit of grey in it? If so, can we call it greyish blue? I dislike all the yellows. Apparently one shade wasn't enough. Don't get me wrong I like yellow, just not on my LEGO bricks.

No, I mean the one used on SW sets maybe 5 or so years ago. They may have gotten rid of it though, which would be great:P. I like some yellow, but they switch it too much like with grey. Like when I was rebuilding my yellow Creator Beach House set I had 2 different shades of yellow bricks and had to find the ones with the right yellow:S.

Oh... So you do mean bluish grey. I like the colour more than regular grey, I just have more regular grey... That annoys me. That's not even an old set. Why is it broken? I think LEGO has three shades of yellow now. Yellow, orangeish yellow and whiteish/sand yellow. I don't mind the sand colours. They're not as "IN YOUR FACE BRIGHT!"

Anyone know if there are rare minidolls?
I don't like bluish grey. I like regular grey as it's a normal color. I like normal colors more than mixes. I took it apart for various MOCs, but wanted it again, so I rebuilt it. The shades I had of yellow were SLIGHTLY different, but noticeable. It annoyed me:|. I don't know, that's a good question. Do they have minidoll polybags*-)?

Normal colours are good, but the bluish grey is more appeasing to me. Oh! I started buying classic brick sets so I don't have to destroy my sets. I end up organising my pieces via colour shades in tool boxes. Hmm... Could it be that you have sun dulled yellow in among your newer unblemished yellow? Sometimes that happens. My whites turn yellow and such.
I've seen just one polybag in my life. We don't get them. This one was a Friends one, though it came with... I believe a very small smoothie stand. Does that even count as a polybag?

Wait, you saying you don't get minidoll polybags, or that Australia doesn't get ANY polybags?

I'm saying that Australia doesn't get polybags, but I have seen one Friends polybag. I guess you could say Australia gets one polybag.
One big problem with minidolls is that they can't sit down. No one has seemed to address this so I will
Actually they can sit down. Their legs have a single joint that moves their feet in front of them and allow them to sit down. It's not exactly the most ideal design, but it works regardless.
What? No! You're being brainwashed, Digs! *grabs and shakes you* Minidolls can sit down, and do everything else regular minifigures can do *glares at Torahvision * except their legs don't move separately and their hands don't move. Other than that they're identical.
Just try to sit a minidoll onto a vehicle. IT CAN'T. Sure it can move at the hips but it can't actually stay on the seat when sitting. They'll fall right off if the item it is sitting on moves the slightest bit. This is what I mean by "can't sit." Not that the hips don't move.
Exactly. The only part that can attach to a LEGO platform is their feet. They can't sit on the ground, on a chair, anywhere!
As far as I saw they only complained about their legs not being able to sit or something:S:P.
And that's not really complaining... Not when the OP asked which we like best and why. It was more of a statement. I like minifigures because they can be posed/articulated better and can sit/stick to any old LEGO piece. They're also original and originals are always biasly better.
Not necessarily. *cough*Toy Story 3*cough*Empire Strikes Back*
