For one, I am a little biased because I have a lot of ROTJ sets, but that isn't the only reason.
like most kids, I was into lego, but I didn't avidly collect until I was in the 5th grade and received the Jabba's Palace set for Christmas in 2012. From then on, I collected the Rancor Pit, the Desert Skiff, and Jabba's sail barge in the coming year. I had also been gifted the Endor bunker in 2010 before all of those sets. So having these ROTJ sets and wanting to collect them all sort of "connected" me with the movie.perhaps it has driven me to conclusion that everything with Jabba is not to long in my opinion, but I digress.
I love the stuff with the Emperor, Vader, and Luke on the Death Star. Some of the best dialogue and tension in the saga. Everything on Endor I love. If only the Ewoks were Wookies like it was intended, it would be even better. But I just love the color, the sound, and the effects the Endor sequences provide. All of the Redwoods look great and I love this forest setting for star wars. I still enjoy the SFX, even with today's standards. The sequence with Luke and Yoda is great, and the reveal of Leia being related to Luke is still awesome.
To sum things up, it looks great, it sounds great, it works great. The lightsaber combat is spot on, and I've loved collecting the sets. And that is why Return of the Jedi is my favorite Star Wars Movie.
Wow, Jabba's Palace and the Endor Bunker were the two biggest sets me and my brother had as well. I guess it didn't affect me the same way though. The last RotJ set I got was the most recent Desert Skiff. I had the 2012 but but it broke, and I lost Boba Fett's cape, so I decided I needed a new one.

I'd like to hear why you like TPM more than ANH. That's a unique opinion.

Qui-Gon and Maul are both pretty cool, but the only real development they have is outside of the movie.
I see where your coming from but I love the duel of fates scene with Qui Gon vs Maul, the podracing along with the bongo sub ride through the planets core where they meet the sando aqua monster. It may have its silly moments like Jar Jar,Bryan Blessids Boss Nass, the gungan battle and the weird 2 headed podracer commentators but I feel its fun for it.

Those were all pretty awesome moments. However, I wish the pacing was better.

Pretty cool list! Good to see a big Sequel Trilogy fan with all the hate they've been getting.

My rankings are actually quite mixed, not even close to separated by trilogy like a lot of people's are. Note: I enjoy every single one of these movies.
This is my ranking of the Episodes:
1. The Empire Strikes Back (predictable, right?)
2. Revenge of the Sith (bet ya didn't see that comin')
3 and 4. Return of the Jedi and The Last Jedi (my opinion on TLJ is absolutely positive, but not solid enough to really decide where I rank it, this is a tie)
5. Attack of the Clones (not even joking)
6. A New Hope (don't hurt me)
7. The Force Awakens (meh)
8. The Phantom Menace (by far the worst one, although I love Watto ( ) and of course the ending fight)
Oh, and Rogue One goes somewhere around the middle.
I like it! TLJ is second! You obviously are on the side of the Star Wars Fandom that loved the movie (I did too, I disagree with the hate it is getting) I personally enjoy watching TPM more than AotC tho, clones has usually been my least favorite.
Clones is really dragged down by the terrible romance. I like the Obi-Wan stuff in it though.
My thoughts exactly. However, in my opinion Across the Stars makes even the cringy romance dialogue more than watchable. Also, I think it's really unfair that people call AotC the worst just because of about 15% of the movie. I honestly think the Anakin and Padme plot gets really interesting after they leave Naboo, and even on Naboo I think the meadow picnic scene is really good (specifically when they talk about how government should work).
Also, no one talks like they do in Shakespeare's plays, and yet he is considered one of the greatest authors of all time. Anakin and Padme, while not behaving or speaking normally, are at least closer to reality than Romeo and Juliet, and yet are called "cringy" and "awful" and stuff.
Little side note: First time I watched Episode II, the Obi-Wan mystery plot had me on the edge of my seat.

That's my biggest complaint with that movie. It's the only Star Wars movie that ever made me feel bored, even for a second, the first time I watched it. The podracing is cool, sure, but it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG. All that time could have been used for more development of Anakin and Obi-Wan's relationship later on, which was barely shown at all. The whole part of the movie that takes place on Tatooine should have been much shorter. As I said on my rankings, though, I love Watto. He's just so fun.
