Title pretty much says it all.. I can't find any news about it but it's been two days and nothing has gotten through on the LEGO.com Gallery. Anyone else concerned they're shutting it down down and haven't told us?

Well, you have it easy. I can't even access the website. I do believe Lego is pressing Lego Life again...

I am as well. I've also noticed that the Galleries section of Create and Share just takes me to the LEGO.com Gallery instead of the Galleries home page. I guess this means they've gotten rid of all galleries except for that one and the theme ones.

Hey Brickman!
Great to see you here!
I've got the same problem, my comment is now pending for more than five days, the vacation is pending since friday.
I can't find also nothing about it.
It's weird, Pip has the same probem.
I asked here if Koolkanin knows something.
I realised that if the gallery goes down you loose contact with everybody.
That's why i jumped over and looked if more have that issue.
I posted the departure of the vacation on MOCpages.

Same with me. I need to switch regions to get access to the galleries. They done the same thing with the LMBs.
Forgot to say, i think that they have serious problems.
If you start LDD, normally it connects to internet and checks for updates but now it can't.
Related problem maybe.
Lego claimed it would stop updating LDD for a while, no major updates. Perhaps they have just taken down that feature as it is now redundant. I don't know though, Lego is making a lot of shady moves recently, by what you chaps tell me.

If they did end the gallery i think it's rude not to tell about it.
If it's major tech problems they could let us know at least there's a problem.
This situation is far from user friendly, we're not talking about an hour or a day, tomorrow it's a week the gallery is out of order.
Not only the problems but the lack of communication is "not prize winning".....

If lego shut down the galleries, I will send them a strongly-worded email written in capitals, bold text, signed in red text, and sent in rich text format. Seriously.

Hey Bak! I'm glad to see you here as well. I've had a new story part pending since Sunday.. I don't know what's going on but I'm really not optimistic about the future of the Gallery right now. I still know some people outside of the Gallery.. Pip, Qmtfive, Max, Snow, Qx, and probably a few others, but I would lose contact with most people.

I was planning to tweet at them. LEGO's twitter following is small enough that they might actually see it.
When they really shut down the galleries, maybe we must start our own gallery.
I'd actually thought about doing this.. I've tinkered with web design before, never built a gallery but if I could pony up the monthly fee for hosting I might be able to come up with something.

Yeah, but then they will ignore it because it doesn't look professional in the slightest, unless of course my definition of professional is off by a lot. If that is the case, I never said anything.
