Rivendell
In Elven, Imladris. The last homely house east of the sea. Home of Elrond, his sons, and many Noldorin elves. Ever since it's founding, Rivendell was a sanctuary and refuge in the midst of chaos. Set in a strategic location close to the Misty Mts., it withstood a siege from Sauron himself. Even at the end of the 3rd Age, it represented a place of civilization, knowledge, and peace.
In the RP, this is a sub-HQ of Bree. Therefore, it provides 10,000 MWE. It borders Trollshaws to the west, Eregion to the south, and the High Pass to the east.
The day of prosperity makes one forget adversity; The day of adversity makes one forget prosperity.

For reference, the units of Rivendell:
(Note: All units' worth is given in EWE [Elvish Worth Equivalent. EWE x 1.3 = MWE]) (Also, thanks to 8L, whose Lorien list gave me quite a few ideas for this)
- Noldor Guardsmen - Worth: 1 - Equipment: Light plate armor, kite shield, sword, sidearm - Description: Basic infantry who serve to defend Imladris against outside threats. They are reasonably strong and relatively mobile.
- Noldor Spearmen - Worth: 1 - Equipment: Light plate armor, kite shield, spear, sidearm - Description: Similar to the Guardsmen, these units wield long, sturdy spears instead of swords
- Noldor Bowmen - Worth: 1 - Equipment: Padded leather armor, Elven longbow, short sword - Description: Ranged counterparts to Rivendell's standard infantry. Like all elves, those of Rivendell are dangerous archers, with excellent range and accuracy.
- Defenders of Imladris - Worth: 1.5 - Equipment: Light plate armor, buckler, battlestaff, sidearm - Description: Mobile, well-trained soldiers who wield their double-ended battlestaves (can't think of name...) with great speed and agility.
- Hunters of the Valley - Worth: 2.5 - Equipment: Dark-colored cloaks, short sword, many knives (for throwing) - Description: Silent hunters who often roam the darker places in or near the valley. Many foul creatures have fallen to their knives without knowing what hit them.
- Noldor Sentinel - Worth: 3 - Equipment: Plate armor, pavise shield, sword, sidearm - Description: Well-armored warriors, Sentinels are chosen from battle-proven Guardmen to receive special training. Dangerous melee opponents, quite capable of holding a line.
- Noldor Marksmen - Worth: 3.5 - Equipment: Leather armor, Elven cloak, Elven longbow, dagger - Description: Perhaps the best archers in Middle-Earth, the Noldor Marksmen have spent centuries training with their weapon of choice, the bow. Amazing accuracy and range.
- Chosen of Este - Worth: 5 - Equipment: Grey Elven cloak, Elven longbow, sword - Description: Servants of the Valier Este, these units are well-equipped to take cover in the shade which Este loves. Though trained with both bow and sword, their primary skill is stealth.
- Noldor Marchwardens - Worth: 5 - Equipment: Light plate armor, Elven longbow, spear, sidearm - Description: Rivendell's first line of defense, these elves guard the borders against enemy incursions. Well prepared to handle many different things, they are quite versatile units.
- Noldor Captain - Worth: 8 - Equipment: Plate armor, kite shield, Elven Longbow, sword, sidearm - Description: The highest ranking members of Rivendell's army, they are elite warriors, seasoned veterans, and inspiring leaders. Equally at home when at range or in melee.
- Riders of Rivendell - Worth: 8 - Equipment: Plate armor, Elven longbow, spear, sidearm - Description: Mounted variants of the Marchwardens

{JAMMERS! GOOD ONLY!} Well, I estimate that Evil will have about 25,000 troops here in the next 48 hours. So basically, just prepare for a siege. I have 5k elves arriving now, so combined with what's already here and what you have, that will be about 15k MWE.
The best plan is probably to defend the valley itself, from the north side. Do you have the AoME? If so, I'm thinking to line the cliffs on the north side of the Bruinen with archers and siege engines. We'll have the rest of our troops along the river bank, around the bridge. Hopefully, we can hit 'em hard as they approach, then stuff 'em at the bridge. Thoughts? If this sounds good to you, then you can either take the troops on the cliffs, and I can take the rest, or vice versa.
Fortunately, we won't have to hold out too long. I'll have 11k MWE coming from Tharbad. While I am going to leave a day or two between their arrival and the arrival of those troops (in order to see their formation & strategy), it won't be a long wait. Once those troops arrive, hopefully we can crush them between our forces. I also have a few spare troop in Bree, that I'll start moving towards here, in case things go poorly.
One other concern I have is the Trollshaws. If we go through with this, the Ford of Bruinen (and thus the Trollshaws and regions west) will be vulnerable to attack. However, I'm guessing that Shamrock will forget or ignore that, and just go straight for Rivendell itself. So I'm thinking to just keep the troops at Rivendell itself, and hope I'm right. Besides, a small detachment to the Ford would probably only draw attention to that, without being able to resist his larger troop numbers. Again, thoughts?
As for immediate orders, we need to construct siege engines. I had to burn 700 SWE of ballistae in Eregion, so that my elves could get back here quickly. I'll have my troops start working on those, yours can help. Some other basic defensive measures would be good, but we probably don't have time to set up much.
This post is way longer than I thought it would be when I started.

{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} That I do. Sounds good to me.
Make sure you leave a strong force at Tharbad, as we don't want to make it too weak. The fortifications we'll have here should save us several thousand troops-worth. Also, do you know what sort of garrison the Enedwaith has?
If an emergency comes, I think we can scratch together a decent force from the garrisons from the nearby regions to hold him off until other reinforcements come.
Well, I've got about fifty trebuchets coming in with the next batch of troops (coming from Gundabad). I'll set those up once they arrive.
*5k elves arrive from Eregion, a bit out of breath from their journey. With them are 100 scorpions.*
*Together with the troops here, they begin construction on 50 Ballistae (350 SWE), 20 Onagers (200 SWE), and 10 Trebuchets (150 SWE).*
*Together with the newly arrived troops, these troops complete construction on most of the ballistae and onagers.*
*A few other basic defenses are thrown up.*
*Scouts from the south report that orcs have begun to appear on the southern borders.*
*Isilwe calls the forces of Bree and Rivendell together. He tells them that battle is imminent, and reminds them that they are fighting for all they hold dear. Victory, he says, is life; defeat means death. With that, he sends the troops forth to their positions.*

{JAMMERS! Good ONLY!} Alrighty. I'll certainly leave a decent garrison at Tharbad, but I'm not too worried about it. There are strong defences there as well, and Dunland/Moria/Isengard could only spare so many troops.
ATM, Dunland has 2k building a wooden fort in Enedhwaith. However, I believe there are still 4k MWE in Dunland itself, which could easily move there in a jiffy.
Excellent, the trebs will come in handy.
