This is one of those moments where I'm painfully reminded of my ignorance of the modern world of video games. XD
Do you know any video games, at all, Tigress? (Older games (and LEGO games, which I guess many on here would be more familiar with) are fine.)
Yeah, haha...this is a Ninjago fanfiction, with a lot of other stuff in it because of the whole video game thing. The Ninja are there though, in case you didn't know who waterl1ly, ElFuego, S_Jaguar, blu-bell, Chosen1, and DangerBuff are. (Please tell me if I got any of their usernames wrong, it's been a while...) Jay is even participating in this first Turf War, in an Octoling avatar. Sorry if I may have neglected that for a while.
Umm. . . I dunno, I've played Mario Kart Wii at my great-aunt's house a few times. xD

Gotcha. No worries. ^.^
Idea: HUGE NINTENDO-THEMED TOURNAMENT THAT INCLUDES MK RACING, SPLATOON TURF WAR, ANIMAL CROSSING FISHING CONTEST, LOZ SHOOTING CONTEST, SONIC RACE (SONIC ISN'T REALLY NINTENDO BUT HE'S BEEN IN NINENDO GAMES), SHALL I GO ON?
Or maybe just an MK race/Turf War hybrid for now?
Or maybe just general game-themed and it includes Nintendo, Square Enix (makers of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts), Blizzard (makers of Overwatch, World of WarCraft, Hearthstone), SEGA, RARE, and probably more I haven't mentioned? Also the uber-popular games like Minecraft, Roblox and Fortnite maybe? (Just some ideas.)
(And maybe if there ends up being a villain, it gets interrupted in some way? But for now, let's just have fun with this!)
(By the way, the misty train station is a reference to the Octo Expansion of Splatoon 2, where it's a system called the Deep-Sea Metro.)
"Huh...? That's the..." Marina was in shock. She didn't think this would happen.
"What is it, Marina?" Marie asked, feeling a bit suspenseful herself.
"It's nothing, but why would we want to have a Turf War there? I mean..." Marina chuckled nervously.
The screen changed to a video. A small, glowing blue creature, with the cutest little conductor's hat, was looking at them through the LED.
"Hello there. I am C.Q. Cumber, conductor on the Deep-Sea Metro train. I know you're probably in shock right now, and I apologize, but I requested that one of our stations be used for a Turf War. It has been less dangerous here since our last commander was defeated by a very bold individual." One of the Octolings glanced around nervously, then tried to look attentive. "Anyway, I hope there is a way to access the metro?"
The cephalo-people checked their electronic devices, then super-jumped to an area I couldn't see. Jay was the last to, not knowing what was going on at first. I looked to where they were headed, and there seemed to be an underground station at walking distance. My friends and I headed there to watch the Turf War.
It was cold and misty when we arrived, and there was a train in front of us. Large boxes were stacked on the platform we were standing on. CQ inched over to where we were.
"Visitors may also access CQ-80s and CQ cards," he told us.
I nodded. "Is that what's in those boxes?"
"Yes."
We walked towards the boxes, then looked into them. Some were filled with strange-looking gadgets; others had what looked like access cards in them. I picked up one of each and studied it. It seemed that by pressing a button on the device, the CQ-80 as it was called, it showed a holographic screen that could be used to access the metro, view stats, and there was even a nice little old-fashioned chatroom to communicate with. "Man, this is cool," I muttered.
LordTigressninjagofanmamTeaLeaf❀ Sorry for moving on so much without you guys. Why don't you read up, make of it what you will, and join in? (Man, I just realized that since Con left, this project has been all girls...kinda ironic, since this is a gaming story.)

I'll try to keep up. Hopefully ninjagofanmam will help me. (Huh, sure enough. This should be interesting. xD)
I've played a couple Legend of Zelda games, and I know bits and pices about Kingdom Hearts and Splatoon. Chromis and Tigress' character are back now so they could join in the action. Oh and didn't you say you had a villain of some kind planned? Also something that should probably be kept in mind is that this is a Ninjago fan fiction.

I didn't know as much till a year or two ago when I started playing Zelda games and researching other games.

I've played A Link to the Past on my dad's SNES Classic, as well as Ocarina of Time 3D on my own New 2DS XL; I've also played bits and pieces of The Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword, a long time ago. I play Kingdom Hearts III and have played 358/2 Days on my DS as a kid. So I know some things about those two franchises. I have also played through Splatoon 1's Hero Mode and hope to play through both Splatoon 2's Hero Mode and its Octo Expansion, which lets you play as an Octoling if you beat it. Any other games you know about?
Nice! Finally!
Ah, I'm not sure. For now the Ninja will probably mostly have to face video game villains. There could be some type of hacker, virus, or corrupt AI as a villain, maybe, considering the video game theme...?
Yeah. I guess this would be a bit less hard on me if I put it in general discussion, but it's too late now. (It would make sense if the focus was mainly on Jay, considering his love for video games and tech...)
Cool! The Zelda games I've played are Ocarina of Time 3D and Breath of the Wild. ( But I haven't finished either yet. ) I know about all sorts of video games. I've played lots of Mario games , Pac-Man, Galaga and more like those. I've played a lot lesser known games like Petz Dogs 2, some Disney games and others. Pretty much every Ninjago video game that has come out even the online ones except for the movie game. And I've played some other Lego games like Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4. Plus I've seen my dad and siblings play many other games as well. Oh and I used to play Minecraft and other online or computer games too. I've heard of Final Fantasy and other more known games, but I know next to nothing about them besides what I've seen and heard.
I can work with that. Maybe a hacker who uses video game villains to carry out his or her plan , would that work?
Can't mods move topics if I remember correctly? ( The other ninja like video games too though, so there could be a lot of focus on them too. )

Ok I'll see what I can do, I kinda want to do some stuff with a villain since I feel like that would make things exciting and move the plot along a little.

Maybe we should put our heads together and think of a villain to get a plot going.

For now let's just go with the hacker idea. And exclusively video game villains don't have to be the limit! People like the Joker, Garmadon, and various Disney villains can get chillin' with 'em too!
