Hey guys! Since there were a lot of these back in the old MB days, I thought I'd bring co-writing to the MBE.
Since my previous attempt at a VR-game co-write failed, how about we try a reboot? (If games aren't your thing I'll set up another one, don't worry.)
"River Gale" was more of a Sword Art Online-inspired co-write, "1UP" borrows some elements from Ready Player One as well, right down to awesome cameos.

Name: Jun Song Age: 16 Username: MOCHIPANDA IRL Appearance: Petite and slender, black "emo" hair dip-dyed red. Likes to wear hats and face masks (the kind that is popular in Japan), not that there's anything wrong with his face (he's a handsome fellow). Dark brown eyes, overall "Asian" appearance (he's South Korean). Could be mistaken for a tomboyish girl. In-game appearance: A somewhat athletic build, with dark brown hair and pale skin. Panda hoodie and jeans over futuristic, light yet protective armor. A tattoo on his right arm reads the Konami Code. Skill level: Expert, but not perfect. Been playing video games since he was a kid. Personality: Though he is shy, a bit emo and sort of snarky, Jun is generally kind and means well. He has a weakness for cute characters and animals, and a certain affinity for pandas. Though introverted, he has a soft heart and longs to bond with people. He is also a genius who learned several languages at an early age, as well as several coding languages and hacking methods; however, he also doesn't mind helping "noobs" and lending his knowledge to those in need.

Name: Aleksiel "Aleks" Volkov Age: 16 Username: bearwolf IRL Appearance: Tallish and slim, with short, messy ash-blond hair and sleepy grey eyes. Likes to wear flannel and plaid shirts. Relatively attractive face, slender nose and thin lips. In-game appearance: Dark hair, dark eyes, somewhat tanned skin and an athletic build. Wears a light, open vest and khaki pants. Childish form, sort of resembles Nico di Angelo from Riordan's Percy Jackson series. Skill level: Hobbyist, often asks Jun for help Personality: Aleks is quick to join a conversation, extroverted and confident. Though he presents himself as a suave charmer, he finds himself looking dorky and awkward in certain situations and can be shy, especially around pretty girls. He is also kind of a coward, being the first to want to retreat in a dire situation.
Name: Meilin "Meimei" Jiang Age: 18 Username: meimeihua IRL Appearance: Short and somewhat chubby, with soft features and a round, youthful face. Big brown eyes framed by plastic-rimmed glasses, short and wavy chestnut hair. Favors sweaters and other comfortable clothes, especially in cute pastels. In-game appearance: Skinny and petite, somewhat pixielike with fluffy pink pigtails. Pink, comfy outfit. Brown eyes. Peach blossom theme. Skill level: Intermediate Personality: Meilin is somewhat shy and reserved, getting flustered at compliments and trying to avoid too much support, yet cheerful and optimistic nonetheless. She is quite clumsy and apologetic, often apologizing for any kills and steals. Despite her kind outlook, she is also very headstrong and will defend herself and those she loves at all costs.
The plot: Little does Cyrus Borg know that it has a rival, whose technological advancements put him in second place. Meet IGR, Information Gaming Revolution, inventor of the Gale, the greatest gaming known to man. In a world in ruins after Garmadon's rule, the good people of Ninjago turned to the Gale to escape. The virtual reality realm allowed them to truly get away, all while meeting new people and discovering new things; they could even hide their true appearance in highly-customizable avatars. Little do they know that the Gale has let in a dark power, and things start to get dangerous.

Name: Cameron Newbee Age: 19 Username: Player09526 IRL Appearance: Shaggy brown hair, almost always drooping into his vision. Alternately black hoodie or a sleeveless surfer shirt. Medium height, average build. In-game appearance: Much the same, more muscles. Skill level: Horribly bad. Personality: Lives and breaths the Gale, but is absolutely horrible at it, and refuses to admit that. He plays on in hopes of one day mastering the game. He's an optimist, and normally very cheerful.
