That shows that I could begin a retreat down the pass before you get close enough to attack me. Therefore, my move would still stand, just not in the way I was seeing it (although once I had gotten to my fail-safe position, then it wouldn't matter much anyway.)
Does it? My troops had (as you told me) already crossed the river when I took control of them. They've been blocking that road for nearly all the time since then. So other than your Army 2 (which effectively moved out before I took over), your army hasn't had a chance to escape my blockade since I moved them to their current position. So I don't see how it could stand.
Sorry to be stubborn, it just feels like we're looking at entirely different battles.
oh wait, you're right. oh come on. I thought I was blocking Cirith Ungol with my wall. Also, just so you know, I did state that the Wall is in the pass, meaning I've been envisioning you within the ruins of Minas Morgul as well as me, although I also thought that I could get to. . . Wait a second, I'm still able to get into Gorgoroth, Right? And I can get to Cirith Ungol from Gorgoroth, correct? If so, I have a solution.
It looks like we have been.

Wait, where exactly did you build this wall? Guess I should go find that post after I make this one. I've been imagining that my troops are just outside the ruins, although not necessarily inside of them, like yours are. And no, my army is blocking your army in Minas Morgul, so it can't get to Gorgoroth. But yes, Cirith Ungol is close to the eastern edge of the Vale, so you can easily get from there to Gorgoroth.
Well, at least we're getting to the bottom of it now.

I built the wall, in what I thought that it was Minas Morgul. However, the important part, is this quote, as that was the part that I was 100% certain on after this argument started. The ditch and wall are in the Ruins of the city/Tower, blocking up the pass into the lands beyond, no larger. This is not the original post talking about it, but that was what I was getting at the whole time. Their is a large amount of saying other stuff, but this is the base of what I was trying to go for with my knowledge.
True.

Are you far enough east that you'd be blocking me from crossing the river at the ruins of Minas Morgul? it didn't sound like it from your post. And the is ditch and wall across the valley, and where? And how high and wide are the wall and ditch? And are any of your troops west of the ditch, between the ditch and me?
*The Army advances up the valley, Spearmen and Pikemen in Front, with swordsmen behind, and archers behind them. The Axemen are in the middle of the Swordsmen, and the siege engines are just behind the archers. The Cavalry are in the rear*
*If any enemies are in range, the archers lest loose deadly volleys of arrows*
River? I'm essentially IN the ruins of Minas Morgul. The ditch and wall are in the Ruins of the city/Tower, blocking up the pass into the lands beyond, no larger. Their are troops in the North (The Cavalry) and troops IN the Ditch/On or behind the "wall." The Ditch is about 3 feet deep and about 3 wide. And the wall is about 2 feet high, and 5 feet wide. *The Cavalry forces, move to attempt a Flanking attack, Many of which using their bows on the crews of the Seige weapons AND the archers as soon as in range. They press on, some engaging the Cavalry, and some press inward to destroy the Seige Weapons. The first to meet your forces are the Chariots and Black Wargs.* Are your archers going to stop and shoot things that are moving behind them, or press on? *My Uruk Armorers are in the Ditch, with the Trolls in the short break between the two areas. Archers loose volleys of arrows on troops once in range.*

Hmm, so it is. Thing is, it can't be both blocking the pass AND near Minas Morgul. But I think you see that now.

I know. And I'm saying that It SHOULD be blocking the pass, not near Minas Morgul. In which case my most is perfectly legal, and therefore we can continue the battle at Cirith Ungol. Or else you can insist that it's near Minas Morgul, in which case It will take me 1-2 days to reformulate my strategy. Which will you do?

I'm not entirely sure. If we say it's near Minas Morgul, you have to rethink everything. If it's in the pass, I have to rethink everything. Neither option is particularly fair. Normally, I'd ask the rep, but I am the rep, so yeah. Give me a bit to think about this, see if there's a compromise.

sure, think about it. However, I am going to note, that you will eventually have to rethink things anyway, as I have an Army already over by Cirith Ungol, with about 400 SWE and 2K MWE anyway, so. . .

*12 Arras-ul Menel, 100 Shieldbearers and some Crossbowmen (100 Heavy Crossbowmen and 100 Light CBowmen) arrive* OOC: Those were meant to arrive ages ago, can I just say they are in firing range immediately? If yes: *The Arras-ul Menel move into firing range and take aim at the Dol Guldur Heavy Ballistae. They fire incendiary bolts, two to every one DG HBallista. *

Afraid you can't, we're trying to come up with a compromise, because of mis-communication, and even if their wasn't the compromise, I have troops that would intercept you first.

Well, since you seem confident in your victory, I might as well take advantage of your mistakes. We'll say you built said wall at the entrance to Minas Morgul, or somewhere near the ruins to the city. Sound fair?
If so, I believe it's your move, to redo the part I nulled.

Not confident in victory per se, just confident that you will eventually have to storm the wall. as for my new move. . .
*Sod Boxers and Ninja of Udun from Army 2 begin preparing for an ambush* *The Siege Weapons send out anti-Infantry shots at the troops nearest the Mountains.* *The Goblin Mercs and other troops create the following formation.*
*Army 3 launches an attack from the other direction as Armies 2 and 5 make their breakthrough.*
Assuming that Army 2 gets to the Pass (which is likely, although Army 5 will be torn in shreds) then the following move applies. *Army 2 Retreats down the Pass to the Wall.*

Quick question, what is in army 5? I can't seem to find it

I've been keeping up with this topic and I see NO way you could have intercepted me. Your troops are either boxed in Minas Morgul or coming down from Gorgoroth. I'm coming from the opposite direction, and EE's troops should be in the way.
