Not many of you may know this, but LEGO.com contains a newsroom. In this newsroom, the LEGO group posts news articles about itself, and mostly covers grown-up business talk and the like. Such as how LEGO did in the fiscal year, how they are increasing responsibility in the workplace, etc.
Not many of you will remember, but I had posted two of these spoofs in the past before. Now, I would like to turn this into a more regular thing, and rather than flood LMBE with new topics, I'm just going to be posting the rest of my News Article Spoofs here.
Of course, the humour found in these spoofs is VERY sarcastic, and VERY mocking, if not outright offensive. So golden rule: this is all for comedy and entertainment, and not everything I say in these spoofs is really serious.
WARNING: the following post is satirical in nature. No offense is intended to those who do not or cannot recycle. It's your trash, you have the right to decide where it ends up.
The LEGO Group, in spite of having made diligent efforts to increase the recyclability of their products by making their packaging boxes out of cardboard, has noticed that a major part of their market, the US specifically, still does not recycle the LEGO boxes they throw away. In response, the LEGO Group has partnered up with the How2Recycle initiative to help put a label on their boxes so that US consumers will see the label, and hopefully be guilted into recycling their boxes.
"I just don't get it. Why does Denmark have to have all the windmills? Why does Switzerland have to burn their trash to make electricity? EVERY COUNTRY SHOULD BE DOING THESE THINGS. WHAT IS IT WITH THESE AMERICANS AND THEIR INSISTANCE ON NOT RECYCLING?!?!?! Did you know that some southern states DON'T EVEN HAVE RECYCLING CENTERS?!?! PURE MADNESS I TELL YOU!!! It's like they WANT the polar bears to go extinct!!!" said Tim Brooks, Vice President Environmental Responsibility, and continues:
"It's almost as if American politics is completely messed up and politicians can't even agree on scientific evidence which shows that recycling is a vital part of protecting our planet's finite resource- wait, you're telling me that's EXACTLY the case?! Wait, doesn't the Republican Party know that the elephant is an endangered species? WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?!?!?"
He then went on to grab a nearby recycling bin, and show it to our reporters. "LOOK!" he said, "IT'S SO EASY. BOX, GREEN BIN. PUT THE BOX IN THE GREEN BIN. DONE. LEAVE GREEN BIN OUTSIDE ON TRASH DAY, AND THE TRASH MAN WILL TAKE IT TO THE RECYCLING CENTER. THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO DO DANGIT!!!!"
The LEGO Group takes environmental protection very seriously, and if they need to resort to putting a bright green label on all their American products specifically, that is something they are willing to do, no matter how insulting it may seem to the American consumer. The LEGO Group is also considering making rants against the Republican Party failing the effectiveness of their labels.

DISCLAIMER: This news-article spoof means no offense to the LEGO Group, or the Chinese. However, just because no offense is intended does not mean the author condones the use of computer viruses. That said, please enjoy this spoof.
The LEGO Group has teamed up with a group named "Tencent" to teach Chinese children about internet safety. The two companies have announced a partnership to collaborate across a broad range of digital content and digital platforms such as: LEGO Life, LEGO.com, the LEGO shop, and what's left of the LEGO galleries that hasn't already been shut down.
Julia Goldin, Chief Marketing Officer of the LEGO Group, says ”Our most important purpose is to inspire children and help them develop through play. This means teaching them to be afraid of the internet, especially with all the computer viruses that come out of China! By limiting Chinese children to only visiting LEGO.com, we are keeping them safe from all manner of Chinese malware! Seriously, you would not BELIEVE how many hacking attempts come from China ALONE within a single day. It's crazy! It's almost like they're living under a communist regime and are desperate for money!"
The Great Being Emarcee, had this to say on the issue: "You know what really ticks me off? The definitive version of Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter Frontier, is an Asia exclusive game! And that means that the only way to play the game in the west is to download it from a Chinese IP, and that's assuming the website isn't bugged with thousands of viruses! This isn't helping make the Chinese internet any safer! You're just sheltering the next generation from the real issues here!"
Jacob Kragh, General Manager of LEGO China, says “We are very pleased to form the partnership with Tencent. We’ve seen more and more Chinese children engage with the world digitally, and the partnership will bring them safe and imaginative digital LEGO content that also supports their needs of learning, development and entertainment. Soon, we will teach them to HATE piracy and bootlegging! And when those children grow up, and become China's next generation of politicians and leaders, we will use them to remake the entire industry in our image!”

What- NO!!!
If I must explain my username for the umpteenth time:
my parents had my username picked out for me for years, ever since I had started using usernames this username was "Mrcqm" and it was really just a string of letters that didn't make sense.
In an attempt to take control of the situation whilst still honoring the username, I started undertaking the title of "Emarcee". A phonetically spelled-out version of the first three letters in my old username. It was first used when naming one of my BIONICLE MoCs/RPCs, but when the original LMBs shut down and I came over here, I formally switched my name to Emarcee. The "Q" and "M" became this new Emarcee's lab, known as the "Queue of Em" and to justify the use of the word "queue" I imagined that the place had a LOOOONG line of people constantly waiting in front of it It is all a quite complex if not contrived way of adapting what used to be a nonsensical username into something that can actually have something of a story behind it.
However, due to the name belonging to the VERY MASCULINE robot that is LITERALLY in my profile pic, I should very much hope people assume I'm a guy, because that's what I am
