We were just frustrating it was a bunch of tears, depression, and drama with nothing to enjoy while watching, but our family doesn't really like drama.
I like drama. I’m working on a few drama “ideas” that I can adapt to film when I become a famous director.
When I become a famous actor I'll be sure to work on some of your films.
My anonymous sources tell me it was just called that but now is actually just called “Jungle Book” and will be released on October 19th 2018. Based on the book and not the film. Stars:
The new one or the old one? I’ve seen neither, but I saw “Everything Wrong with Pete’s Dragon (1977)” and it looked absolutely horrible. The second one has a good Rotten Tomatoes score, so it seems like a good movie.
I haven't seen the original, but the EWW series has a way of making stupid observations that have nothing to do with the actual quality of the film and pretending they hate every movie ever and making all of them look like the worst thing ever to grace the silver screen even if they're actually really good.
I don’t really take them seriously and treat them like a good laugh.

Honestly I'd personally say live-action remakes kinda started with The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010) and I kinda count Maleficent as one of them too (Although I've never and don't want to see that movie actually XD) But eh it's very debatable xD Here's my ranks cuz' why not.
Alice in Wonderland - Err.. I've never seen it or the sequel (or the original movie) but I uh, don't really want to actually, Alice in Wonderland-ish stuff just isn't really my thing usually.
Cinderella - Loved it and I actually really enjoyed the changes. Also I NEED the blue dress xD
The Jungle Book - Haven't seen it but I probably will at some point. I actually haven't really seen the original I don't think? Not because I hate it, I just haven't really any reason to. (Probably will at some point because I'm massive Disney fan and this seems kind of necessary) I think I saw the sequel or something though. Not sure..
Beauty and The Beast - Haven't seen it yet but I don't really have high hopes.
Mulan - I'm really excited for this if they do it right. I have a lot of concerns. Like how on earth they're going to make sure it's not too dark and violent to become a PG-13 rating. (It's about a war and some parts of the original are pretty dark if you think about it.) I'd still see it with a PG-13 rating but it'd be questionable for a Disney movie remake. I also hope Mushu is still funny and looks pretty much the same (although they'd have to make him a bit different) but IDK if they'd get his voice actor back and that's kind of really important to his character. But regardless I'm excited to see what they do with it. Mulan is one of my favorite Disney movies sooo xD
Aladdin - Again, if they do it right it should be great. Though they have to be careful (IMO) because sometimes the original was kind of... Annoying to me. Like Aladdin could have just told Jasmine. I know that's like the moral of the story but eh. I'm not saying it's a bad movie, I like it, but it's not my favorite. I just hope they're careful with the live-action that's all and I have no idea what's hope with this whole "Prince Anders" thing though, IDK if anyone has heard about that though and IDK if we can really talk about it xD But I'm still excited to see what they could do with the live-action remake. Especially with like "A Whole New World" that could be awesome.
The Lion King - I feel like a broken record, but if it's done correctly? It could be amazing. The Lion King is awesome and if they take it and don't make too many changes (or I hope they make good changes if they need to make changes) then it's going to be great. Funnily enough when I first saw trailers for live action The Jungle Book and stuff I'm pretty sure I was like "Oh my gosh could you imagine if they did Lion King like this?!!?" So I'm pretty hyped.

(Sorry for the text wall xD)
Yeah, Maleficent could be considered a remake, although I kinda consider it not to be since they changed the characters' point of view and everything.
Oooh, you need to see Alice in Wonderland, at the very least just the 2010 movie. I was so obsessed with it once, and it still stands as my second favorite Disney movie. I mean, I guess if Wonderland stuff isn't really your thing that's understandable--I've always been pretty into Alice in Wonderland type of stuff so it's not a shocker that I like it... But still, it's a great movie.
Cinderella's dress is something we all need. Except I would probably prefer it in pink.
Yeah, I haven't seen the original Jungle Book in a while, but the live-action is one of my favorites. You should give it a try.
Beauty and the Beast was good...it's just...I would never choose it over the original. But it's still totally worth watching, especially if you're a fan of the original.
True, Mulan could very easily be turned too dark. The trend seems to be to remake all the movies in a darker version than the originals especially with Alice in Wonderland and Maleficent and I like that idea, but yeah, Mulan is one they'll have to be careful with. And if they change Mushu too much I will NOT be happy because he's my favorite Disney sidekick. But still, it'll be very interesting.
Yeah, Aladdin's not one of my personal favorites but it's still very funny and a great story. I think this one's gonna be pretty cool. I'm just really interested how they're gonna animate Genie I've never heard about the Prince Anders thing though...not sure who he is.
Yes, if they do it right, it will be absolutely amazing. I mean, I know they have to make changes to all the movies in order for a remake, but I just don't want them to change The Lion King. At least not much. And I remember thinking the same thing! Actually I think that's the first thing I thought... But yeah, I'm very excited.

{JAMMERS! -bun- ONLY!} I haven't actually watched it, and don't plan to. It didn't get an overly exciting score on a film popularity rating site, so that didn't inspire anything special. But to answer your question, I don't like it because it depicts something... socially controversial, shall we say? I don't like it. Did I say that already? Sorry if I didn't directly answer your question, but I don't really want to talk about it.

{JAMMERS! -RomeNZ- Only!} Ah, yeah, sometimes when a film doesn't get a halfway good rating it's hard to have any faith in it. I believe I know the socially controversial aspect you're referring to, in which case I completely agree that it's one of the definite downsides of the movie.

Well, that's good. I really don't like it when people treat them like anything more.
