Specs Length: 60 feet Height: 15 feet Width: 20 feet Armament: 4 SLBM missile tubes, with a total of 16 missiles on board. All-purpose heavy turret on the deck. Crew: 15 Crocodile submariners Power consumption: 1 Chi orb per day. Maximum depth: 500 feet Countermeasures: RADAR jammers, chaff clouds Sensors: Mk. IV Crocodile RADAR systems
Proposed design: Imperator-class Battlecruiser
Specs Length: 300 feet Height: 100 feet Width: 75 feet Armament: 15 Anti-Vehicle Turrets, 3 Heavy Artillery Cannons, 25 AA turrets Crew: 150 Crocodile crewmen, 100 Crocodile marines Complement: 5 Naval Helicrocters Power Consumption: 3 Chi orbs per day. Countermeasures: RADAR jammers, MISS launchers (Missile Interceptor Safety Systems) Sensors: Mk. II Crocodile RADAR systems
{Anyway, jams same.}For the Caiman-class, I'd say it's fine, but if you wanted to go very fast or fire weaponry, you'd need more Chi. The one orb a day should be for slow speeds, without action.
With the Imperator-class, I suggest raising the standard Chi usage to 5 orbs a day, 8 at high speed.
The Annihilator-class should use at least 8 orbs a day to keep it going, 10 at speed.
The Leviathan-class should use the 10 suggested when going slowly. 15 when moving fast.
Now, can we add a sea topic so I can actually use these?
Seriously though, it would be nice. The Crocs could have a navy, and the Skyborn can fly to the islands. Pretty much every tribe besides the Lions could use the Great Sea of Chima somehow.
Did Brimstone ever approve anything or like have his input on anything? In other news I am compiling a map of Chima. *for this rp* I would love to know where everyone is... *If we had a map what direction would everyone be in, as compared to the great forest, and what geographic landmark would in theory be closest* LegoBuilder FelipeDutra cowansm3 Torahvision pixels3678 Dr. Matthews BRIMSTONE
I know I am close to the Bear Tribe and I am in the forest of the falling leaves, closest landmark, maybe Great forest ill see what the others say.
From the looks of official art the eagle spire seems to be in a fields or plains of some kind? So the eagle tribe would be in the grassy plains!
*shrugs* I don't mind. Wait for everyone's approval though.
You have my approval, I guess we could have like a Northern sea *So the ice tribes could later get water vehicles* and a West Sea, for the rest of us. *or wherever the croc tribe is in comparison to the map*
The northern sea could be next to the ice regions, putting the south sea down next to the Iron Mountains. [i]

OOC: a sea topic would be cool... in Age of Empires i usually make a navy first

Hey egorsmirnov just to give you a landmark of where the bears HQ is. We are on a giant mountain looking down on the great forest ( that's how I imagined it anyway). Don't know if that helps much though.
I was an avid reader on the MBs and not a user. You will not recognize me but I will recognize you...

Don't the lions have boats in the show?
I see only one problem: the Crocodiles are the only major, naval-oriented species, which would give them monopoly over the seas. This would also assume that they shift their power from ground to sea, leaving no competent ground army standing against the Lions, which might end badly.
Besides, the whole sky-born ground-born thing is turning sour, for the balance against the Ravens, the Eagle's, have stopped answering. I am even considering an friendly annexation, just to distribute air power amongst my allies.
Fine with me. Could you list its weaknesses and Chi consumption?
It would use a form of liquidized chi (if that's alright). I was thinking to the equivalent of maybe 10 orbs. It boasts High destructive capabilities but is unfortunately slow and hard to maneuver. It has a maximum speed of 30 MPH, recommended speed however is 20-25 MPH. It can run for about 16 hours before having to refuel again. The missiles are loaded from the outside and it only contains enough for one reload. Good?

I see your points. I think Lions could build a small, powerful navy and airforce to counteract Raven and Croc forces. The only weaknesses is that the Ravens and Eagles would have much better pilots that could out dogfight Lion pilots or other tribal piloteers.
Same goes for naval navigation tactics. The Crocs would excel in those areas far more than a ground tribe.

I already drew a map that is very bad in the Lore topic, (atleast how I imagined the world), but by all means please draw a map. I will also probs be re drawing soon.
OOC: So can I take Brimstone's place on the FAC since hs is never here? FelipeDutraShamrock
Anyways here are my suggestions for the bear navy: Dr. Matthews these will be for the bears not the gorillas, also can I make the west sea, sorta like on the map.

{JAMMERS! -FAC and Egorsmirnov- ONLY!} They look okay. bear in mind that they'll go quite slowly, and that more Chi will be needed when firing weapons.

It has become clear that in modern naval combat, the old battleships and even some submarines are threatened by one enemy: the airplane. You see, it was torpedo bombers that ultimately spelled the doom of conventional battleships such as the Yamato and Bismarck, they scouted out for them, and hunted submarines. Aircraft carriers are considered one, if not the most powerful class of modern, sea-faring vessel. So it is better to start working out the finer details of this Ground Air Sea balance.
And besides, I do not see why the sea aspect would be of interest. I mean, it does offer an interesting missile platform, but then it really isn't worth it: look at the V-2 bomb. Meh. For the Lions, I see no reason to become a naval power, and I wonder what would happen if the Crocs lost their ground power, I could suddenly crush the mighty army at my doorstep.
