OOC: I hardly think so, seeing how it's Mnemosyne.

Are you kidding me? You have not, nobody has, addressed Mnemosyne's power level until now, and the FAC does not regulate power levels. All will be explained, especially Mnemosyne's ridiculously high levels of power. The FAC has absolutely zero jurisdiction. And the FAC will not ever get such jurisdiction, unless it's through purely fanon ways.. Actually, now that I think about it, it's more of a murky area so disregard my last statement.
The FAC does not hold that sort of jursidiction. So no, I won't be treating it as a "normal" mental assault. Because it already is a normal one. Of a higher power level. Emarcee can easily withstand this. It isn't a long mental assault, think of it as a sharp, powerful strike. Not a wave. Once it's over, Mnemosyne will be basically staying uninvolved, unless they attack her. I just wanted to really have Mnemosyne be arrogant and basically showcase a certain thing, as I've written this little scene out.
Mnemosyne is old and experienced, this gives her a skill bonus, but not a power level bonus.

If elemental capacity goes beyond canon, it be omen fanon and may warrant an approval depending in how far it waivers from canon. Although I am not telling you both this as a FAC member (who have no power but voting), I am here as Slipperysnakeboy.
You have clarified the move. I believe we got caught up on the word, "tenfold" and assumed you meant a drastic an unreasonable increase. Because Mnemosyne has been around longer and has the mind knowledge of where to strike and how, her swift warning shots will no doubt be precise.
*coughs*
If Alerak's assault was to a drastic level, then the responding assault is his own attack, tenfold. Nothing more, nothing less. Including the fact that she knows how to point her attacks to certain places for maximum devastation, she's pretty good.
I'm afraid Reps lack the authority to ban things without a community vote or the support of the Roleplay Coordinator, so that ban is not and has never been valid.
Last time I checked I was the only one coordinating the roleplay back then. Remember that I did not truly want to be rep, I assumed somebody would run against me and win. But nobody did -- I was the one who stepped up. I was the one who, without any experience managed to write the rules for this RP. There were also several angles that I did not think people would approach, such as Toa Nuva, and therefore, such things had to be tied up quickly. Also, there likely wasn't any FAC when I made my stance on Toa Nuva, and if there was, nobody disagreed with me on it anyway. There was no opposition to most if not any of the decisions I've made thus far, and therefore, it can be said that I was not unsupported by the community in my decision, nor by the RP Coordinator (which, spiritually, was me).
You were, but that is not the point. I am not saying you were unsupported; I am saying Reps have to be supported.
Roleplay Coordinator is a staff rank, not one held by users.

And that isn't including the fact that they were never actually banned in the first place. No post indicated such.
I talked about it in the past. I made my stance very clear: Toa Nuva could not be allowed on the basis they are very powerful, and that granting them to people would mean giving certain users special treatment.

We are mature, intelligent human beings. Not politicians. We shouldn't have to vote on everything unless there is significant debate in an issue.

Alerak's mental attack was at a very normal level. But simply responding (when you weren't even being affected by it) 'tenfold' is not very reasonable.

Which I easily pointed out the flaws in that train of thought. Don't give it to certain users. Don't make it something bigger than it is. Just encourage people to use normal Toa.

*giggles*
It's really not unreasonable.
If you're just going to giggle at me, say no, and then not bother to write a reason for your statement, then I must tell you that I am not going to be swayed by simple contradiction -- especially when you show contempt as you do so. You have two options: carefully weigh my position against yours, and come to agree with my position. Or: carefully weigh your position against mine, and write a defense for your contradictory position. If you cannot do either of those things in a respectful manner, I really don't see the point in continuing this thread.

There are two choices:
1. Grant Toa Nuva on a limited basis, giving special treatment to users who would know how to use them, and leaving other people stuck with just regular Toa.
2. Do not grant them at all, and treat people equally, regardless of their experience or behavior.
Personally, I found the 2nd option to be more humane. Whilst having a Toa nuva would be fun, ultimately: it doesn't add much to the character other than they had a bath in silver liquid, and came out with a power boost (that and the ability to share their kanohi powers with others). I'm not the rep anymore though -- so I am merely defending what my stance was back then.

There are 3 choices
1. What you said
2. What you also said
3. Grant them to everyone, but don't suggest them. Advise against it, but don't disallow it. Same thing like Skakdi + Kanohi or Vortixx + Kanohi, it's possible, it's just frowned upon.

I'll keep my opinion out of this, though I would like to see what this discussion would look like in the discussion Topic.
Also, can we get back to the scene? I think it was MRCQM's move.

Giving certain users special treatment by granting them access to Toa Nuva has the potential to ignite arguments, especially when a new user comes in and wants to be a Toa Nuva. considering that the only difference between Nuva and regular Toa is raw power, that chance for arguments is really not worth it as it really adds nothing to the story.
