I like the name of his kanohi, although I suspect there's a reason for it (also, the kanohi power seems sort of useless)
Also, aren't Turaga and Toa literally just Matoran? Same species, practically
I won't comment on him being the first matoran, 'cuz I don't care. However, I'm going to have to put a firm nope on Emarcee creating the element of psionics. I've always tried to shy away from having certain Great Beings do that sort of thing. Take Carthemon, for example. He created the first Toa of Psionics: Mnemosyne. However, I would never claim Carthemon created an element, especially by himself.
Emarcee couldn't have created the element of psionics. He could've been one of the primary Great Beings who invested into the element, but he can't have created it, not by himself. He most certainly could've been one of the Great Beings who decided to help create it in the Matoran Universe though! It would probably have him be working with Xitona then, which would be interesting. It's simply not going to happen.
Does it really matter if Emarcee created the element or not? It didn't exist before the MU, and somebody would of had to of created the element.
Yes, it does matter. You're putting Emarcee into a position he shouldn't be, and it did exist, prior to the Matoran Universe. Case in point, Annona.

Name: Sekhmet Alias: Madame Daystar Species: Unknown Element: Plasma Powers: Sekhmet can steal the momentum of others, reducing them to a slow crawl, to being immobile, and anything between. In turn, she can also grant momentum, making others insanely fast (she cannot produce momentum off the bat, it's always from a pre-existing source) Kanohi: Sehkmet wields the Mask of Plasma Weapons/Tools: Sekhmet uses a long baton, formed of crystalline geodes. Appearance: Short, squat, white and yellow hues, combined with bronze. She was short, with yellow, golden really, armor. It was spiky. Her shoulders were clusters of yellow crystals (almost like lightstones). Her head had a row of spikes, almost like a weird sort of mohawk, although made with knives and crystals. Her eyes are a bronzey copper. Personality: Blunt, crass, Sekhmet is kind, yet demanding. A firm believer of respect, she is willing to give others respect, provided they give her the same. She is somewhat ambitious, greedy and power-hungry. Backstory: Created by Tren Krom in a desperate attempt to retain lordship of the Matoran Universe, Sekhmet proved too volatile and hard to control, and escaped from her creator. The ambitious creature was weak, and developed an appetite for geodes, which were also a creation by Tren Krom, in order to show he's useful. The geodes were charged with energy. The primeval Sekhmet, little more than a ravenous beast, consumed all of the geodes that existed, gorging herself on them. So great was her desire for them, she dug through mountains to get a single gem. Upon consuming them all, yet still unsated, Sekhmet focused to make her operations smoother, adopting the form of Madame Daystar.
Name: Sekhmet Alias: Hathor, Madame Daystar, Greed Species: Unknown Element: None Powers: Sekhmet can fire razor sharp gemstones at people. She has acidic saliva, enhanced strength (able to shred through iron), enhanced agility, and heat vision Kanohi: None Weapons/Tools: Sekhmet uses her razor sharp claws, and her powerfully built limbs. She also has a tail, which ends in a cluster of spikes. Appearance: Feral, like a sort of leopard like creature, Sekhmet is covered in gemstones. They protrude everywhere, the white, yellow and golden rahi like being being covered in the translucent spikes. She has large fangs, like a sabretooth tiger, and a long tongue. She has a row of tail spikes, like a spin, for her tail. They protrude in rings all over her torso, with small rings for her wrists and ankles. Personality: Avaricious and gluttonous, Sekhmet has an, almost, obsession for shiny objects. If it shines, she wants it. She's vicious, cruel and relentless. She's an apex predator, willing to do anything for her goals, and she knows it. She is arrogant, sassy, domineering and violent with absolutely no respect for others, or even herself.
Name: Sekhmet/Supernova Alias: Madame Daystar, Lady Morningstar Species: Unknown Element: Fire/Light/Plasma (see Kanohi) Powers: Sekhmet has the power to control the Tetran South. Sekhmet can cause items to deteriorate, be it via disintegration, rapid decay, or by firing limited bolts of radiation, by removing her armor (see below for more) by using the Tetran South. Kanohi: Sehkmet wields the Solaris, Mask of the Sun. The Solaris grants the user the ability to use sun affiliated abilities, including producing light (although this light is harmless, and not weaponizeble), and producing heat, as well as plasma. The Solaris is always on at a low level, and is limited in use. The Solaris requires to be charged by the sun, and slowly loses power through prolonged exposure to darkness. Weapons/Tools: Sekhmet uses a gigantic mace, formed out of supercharged crystals, imbued with archaic energy. Sekhmet's white eyes gleam like stars in the sky. Sekhmet also seems to have large amounts of energy ooze out of vents. Personality: Blunt, crass, Sekhmet is rude, abrasive and demanding. She expects total obedience, and has no tolerance for disrespect, however she is not completely evil. While arrogant and demanding, Sekhmet is fiercely loyal to her companions, and not willing to do things cruel just for the fun of it. Backstory: Sekhmet's avaricious nature has led her to seek the Staff of Ra, and in doing so, has corrupted her. Donning the mantle "Supernova", Sekhmet and Supernova have warred for control often.
Ignore the strike through, it holds absolutely zero relevance or legitimacy into the roleplay, I have no intent to bring Supernova into the Roleplay. Supernova is simply there for reference in Anakritis' visions.
This responsibility is not omnipresent in nature, nor is it omniscient. I imagine she does a lot of traveling, and possibly even uses contacts across the MU.
Like I said to YJF. She goes place to place by boat. While possibly getting smashed

Name: Talyn Species: Matoran Element: Psionics Powers: None Kanohi: Kakama, but powerless Weapons/tools: Longsword and weaver's kit Appearance: I'll let you decide, just remember that he wears blue and has a Kakama! Personality: Kind, caring, and somewhat scared (I might add stuff as I go, but I'll try to stick close to this :joke: ).
Background: (Okay, I want my character to be male, because I want him to be a reflection of me. Can someone help me write a backstory as to why he is male? I'm having some trouble with it. Thanks.)
Just a minor technicality: since the exterior of BIONICLE characters is made of armor, and because they come pre-colored, Talyn actually is blue, he doesn't wear blue (except for his Kanohi, which is worn, but nonetheless, its color was blue the moment he had put it on).
As for backstory... you would need to know who created Talyn in order to make him male. However, there is a slight problem: I already have the male Matoran of psionics XD and given that he was a very old prototype the Great Being that did create Talyn would of had to be very, very, very rebellious. Not to mention a little bit sexist.
Speaking of Alerak, I really ought to write out his full profile. I was going to, but it got lost when I hit the delete key on my keyboard when I didn't have the writing area selected -- I hate that browser 'feature' with a vengeance. A vengeance I say!
The amount of male Toa of Psionics is not really a detail we need to preserve. As long as someone has a really good reason as to why their character doesn't follow the gender norm I'll allow it.

Species I see why, her creation I don't think so, geodes fine.
The FAC doesn't regulate backstories. Sekhmet's history was either Great Being or Tren Krom, and I wanted to spice it up. Besides, it's unrealistic to assume Tren Krom didn't try to prove he was useful.
Also, aren't Turaga and Toa literally just Matoran? Same species, practically.
By that logic, Bohrok would also be the same species as Toa, Turaga, and Matoran. As it stands, biosector01 has Toa listed as a subspecies of Matoran, which is still a separate species.

I don't see why they are classified as otherwise, other than In Universe reasons.

People have discriminated against each other before on the basis of much more flawed logic. If Alerak is going to discriminate against Toa, it doesn't have to be a logical thing to do, it just has to be a belief he has.

The blue is not a rhotuka power, no.
Also, when there's an FAC.. Can you remind me?
Backstory is just as much a part of a character as his/her powers are. Just listen to Sofos he knows what he's doing.

Can't we just do away with the gender rule?
The exception would become the norm otherwise so we need to make sure that anyone who does break the rule has a suitable reason for it.

If the Backstory is something that we didn't see or doesn't look like something similar to canon, it catches attention. If this Backstory uses fanon other then for personal story, then it may need to be approved. I do agree that Tren Krom could have acted if he knew his fate.
Power: Then since it is not a rhotuka power, and not a power native to a canon species used in the profile, it will need a seperate approval. If the Backstory is accepted, I can see that the power may be approved with some modification. It is essentially just Makuta slow and Av-Makuta Speed.
Yes, I will remind you. I have now copied these profiles into a memo on the device I'm using.
The exception would become the norm otherwise so we need to make sure that anyone who does break the rule has a suitable reason for it.
See, there's technically no reason for such a breach. What constitutes it to be suitable? Nothing. So we would be easier off doing away with the rule, it's not as if an influx of cross-gender will occur.

I appreciate that, and yes, Backstory is just as much a part of the character as powers, if not more. However, I am always open to being questioned. I'm not a military commander, so my suggestions don't need to be followed immediately. Asking or challenging me will force me to consider what your side is, and help me grow deeper roots and/or thicker branches. (go ahead, ask me why I used a tree analogy. I won't know unless I have to think about it)
