They are like grappling hooks. They appeared in my first Gameboy Advance game ever, "Lego BIONICLE: Quest for the Toa" and have reappeared in two Bionicle encyclopedias. To my knowlage, few users have ever made use of this tool, so why not?
Great Beings will not be allowed yet -- those will come after we land on Spherus Magna.
As for Emarcee -- I don't think he will be making any more appearances than he already has
I just wanted to make him the old pilot of the GSR with a bunch of computers and monitors surrounding him. Remember where the Toa Hagah found the two dead Glatorain under the Coliseum? He would be there. I wouldn't plan on using him much. It's just that I am a Mod now...And I don't post much, I just end up having to read through most of your guy's posts...Sooooo....Why not make a character that watches everything?
As it is Emarcee is filling the niche of a GB that's watching everything

Name: Seeelk [See-elk] Species: Skakdi Element: Earth Vision Power: Emotion vision, permitting him to see people's emotions and detect them through obstacles by them. Third Power: A peculiar form of teleportation which allows him to move entire locations if he so desires. The most exceptional part is that Seeelk can repair damage to himself with each teleport, rendering him a warrior twice as frightening as a rahkshi of quick healing. Equipment: A machete and a sledgehammer which can make things vibrate and explode violently when struck. Leader of the force attacking Nynrah.

Powers: Fire (?), above-average strength, incredible agility, able to jump to great heights.
Kanohi: Kanohi Hau
Weapons/tools: Twin fire katana
Appearance: Red armor with black decal, about 6' 11", right arm is made of solid gold and advanced technology, allowing to wrok as a real arm.
Personality: Firey, dedicated, protective of Ta-Matoran, rather stubborn, impatient with beings who won't stop blabbing.
Backstory: A Toa. Duh. He fell from the sky in a comet. 'Course, his breathing got all messed up, so he wears a modified mask.
None of the powers listed in the 'powers' field are actually powers
I also suggest you read up on the biomechanical nature of Matoran/Toa/Turaga. I think you'll find that Takata wouldn't have a solid gold arm. Greg himself stated that when a Matoran is rebuilt, the muscle tissue underneath regenerates to fit the new parts being fitted onto it (hence why a being such as Gaardus is possible, and hence why Matoran come in so many different shapes and sizes depending on how they were built).
Another thing, please research the way most Toa are created the Toa Mata were created in a lab of some sort -- they didn't just mysteriously fall from the sky. The reason they fell from the sky onto the isle of Mata Nui is because they were ejected from the Codrex, and actually fell onto Mata Nui's face.
I also suggest you check the Help Topic because it goes into great detail about Matoran/Toa/Turaga and Makuta, and contains information most BIONICLE fans might've missed.

His profile is fine, bro. Powers: Being meticulous about where someone puts their abilities is unnecessary. As long as it is understandable. Red Golden arm: True, but he never stated that the protodermic tissue wasn't growing into the pure gold robotic arm. Plus, there are other possibilities for that protodermis not growing back. Toa origin: Of course Drake doesn't think that toa spontaneously spawn from the sky. He knows that they were created by either the Great Beings, Artakha, or through matoran transformation. He also knows that toa can be put in toa canisters to later be dropped from the sky in the form of a "comet" or "star." At this point in time, all we know about Takada is that, "He came from the stars." Help topic: That's always a great idea! However, this profile does not need to be referred there for an edit.

I've read the Bionicle Encyclopedia cover to cover. I don't need no help topic.
He her had a real arm in the first place. He was given a gold one to replace one he never had. I guess. He has a metal arm, it's not biomechanical, just mechanical.
He was originally built by Toa Takama in another dimension. I didn't care to bore you all with the details, so I left it at that.

Wow, I just went all LMB mod on you guys. []
Toa never fall from the sky in canisters, however. In the Toa Mata's case they had to be launched from the Codrex to the robot's exterior.

And from the matoran's perspective, from our perspective at the time, they fell from the sky. This is the same perspective used in Takada's profile.
