Isn't lego life the reason why the Message Boards shut down? I'll never get it since it replaced the message boards. Also isn't it the only form of communication on the app through emojis?

I believe thou art correct on all accounts. Tis a shame.
Boy did i fall into a trap when i tried it. Thats why i went by “The2ndDecade” on the last days of the MB’s before they closed and i went on my galleys adventures. Why would you not like an avatar like this? (I even edited it to add more detail, yay me! )
Honestly, I'm kind of mad at LEGO in that aspect. I get that it's trying to be hip with the kids, but I think LEGO is taking it too far.
They got rid of an amazing place for great people to get together and talk about LEGO, and soon after they took with a hub for people to share their cool drawings and get feedback- real feedback, not random pictures that don't mean anything. I still love LEGO, as in the sets and stores and stuff, but how they're trying to reach kids technologically isn't so good.
I mean, it's not the worst app ever; you can create an okay-looking avatar and share drawings that could potentially end up on LEGO boxes. (ninjagofanmam, congrats! ) You can also "follow" your favorite LEGO characters and might be reunited with some old friends. But the random name generator (and the fact that you CAN'T CHANGE IT), the difficult interface and of course the infamous emoji chat make it less favorable.

( Thanks. ) The funny thing is that I originally posted that on the Ninjago gallery and it just automatically posted to Lego Life because of my account being the same. So ironically even though it's advertising Lego Life, the drawing was meant for the Lego galleries.

I agree that LEGO could do much better with their technology products. If I was in charge, I would have given the Message Boards a complete overhaul, replaced the mod team, possibly renamed it, and make it into an app. Instead, LEGO just made a replacement that can't do anything the Message Boards and Galleries couldn't do. I think they still make great sets, but their recent tech products? No thank you.

LEGO life replaced the Lego message boards where Lego fans were able to communicate with words not emojis. I will never get Lego life (since I have no reason to) also I heard it is basically a gallery app. I think most of the users from the Lego message boards came here.

Woah, most of the users from the LEGO Message Boards came here? What a surprise!
