*THIS POST DOES NOT CONFIRM A NEW MMO, IT IS JUST OPINIONS*
So a while ago on the old message boards I asked the community what they would like to see in a New Lego MMO (I posted it around the time LMO was announced to shut down). So I will repeat the question here and see what will be said now. What would you guys like to see in a new Lego MMO?
Myself, I would like to see something in the style of Lego Universe, (design wise, a building plot, and open world) but with more of a model of LMO (as in money, making it Free to Play, but paying gives you bonuses, extra areas, and maybe some extra gear). A premium currency would also work well, which you can pay for using real money, but also be able to get in game (Slowly). Extra characters could also be bought this way. Plot wise (story) I am not too sure, but that is what I would like to see, what about you guys?
I would not say they are dying as such, it is just the ones Lego has made have not been really popular. A lot of other MMOs are still doing well.
Like what?
I play Runescape. Not as popular as it used to be, but still VERY popular. A lot of people my age play the Old School version because that was the game we played as kids. I can safely say it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

MMOs are dying, and I just can't see LEGO making another one.
Hmm... One does not hear much, but there are talks of a joint Xbox and PlayStation online thingo. MMOs could stem from that, so I wouldn't necessarily say they're dying out, just maybe moving away from PCs. I too don't think LEGO will make another, they're too interested LEGO Life. It's all these child protection laws. Take the LEGO.com and Pottermore for instance. We have no way of communication of both of these sites now. Pottermore had to remove the comment section and remade the whole website into a non-community. I don't know if you could classify MLN as an MMO, but if LEGO wanted to have/build one, MLN would be it.
I will have to disagree. I think there will be plenty of MMOs in the next five years. Interacting online is the best part of video games IMO.
There will still be online interactions, but no full-on MMOs.
I don't get why you think this. I know more people who play MMOs than console games:S. If we go by your reasoning, consoles will be gone in 5 years too...

If LEGO makes another MMO it will just die like all the rest. Unless we get a LEGO Universe 2....
Yes, I think if they brought back LU or made LU2 it would be popular. Why? Because ever since LU closed people have been showing how much they loved LU and other LEGO fans have taken notice. So if they brought it back, they would get all the former LU players plus the MANY people who heard about LU but never played it either because they didn't have money back in the day or hadn't heard of it when it was around.
