With a rather large recent update to Lego Worlds (to say the least) I was wondering what other people think of it here in this community. So this is my question to you all, What do you think of the new update?
Myself, I like it a lot, I feel adding a sorta story element (as in the astronaut, and narrator) helped the game as well as the new look of the game (Menus). I am still not a fan of the controls however on pc, when using a mouse and keyboard, they are not the easiest to you. Overall though, I would say the game has improved.
I like it. LEGO Worlds has definitely improved and the story element is fun. I have it for PC, but I really wish the Agents DLC pack would be available for everyone soon because Agents is my favorite theme.
There are a few strange things that I don't know if they are working properly. Sometimes I'll be able to do a quest multiple times for more studs, but it's not like it's any different from when I did it the first time. For example, I'll rescue a minifigure from an obstacle using the landscape tool and I'll get the rewards from it. Then I'll be able to do the mission again but since the obstructed terrain was already removed, I just need to accept the mission and I get the studs immediately, so I'm not sure if this is supposed to be an issue or not.
The keyboard controls are alright except for vehicles. For example, Up/W means forward direction of the player's view, which means I'll be driving a vehicle backwards but progressing in the forward direction in the game because I press the Up/W button.
I haven't played LEGO Worlds since it was in closed beta back like 2 years ago. I just didn't like the building, because like you said, the controls are HORRIBLE for it. I even tried an Xbox One controller, and I still found it annoying and a pain to build with:S. Not to mention they barely have any bricks.

LEGO Worlds is the best LEGO game IMO. I bought it last year earlier in the summer! I enjoyed playing it and wish I still could but seeing I no longer have Windows I'll just have to wait for the Mac release.

You really think that? TBH I didn't like it at all. It's just watered down Minecraft IMO, and I don't even like Minecraft:S. For example, you can only use 1 stud bricks. There's no SNOT or any good pieces. I would MUCH rather they just made a game that was LU properties and that was it. You just built properties, submitted them, and played on them with friends. Would have been much better.

I will probably get this game after LEGO City Undercover just because I like that more.
I liked LCU a lot more. Best TT LEGO game ever by far. Such an awesome story and TONS of content. Took me FOREVER to get everything in all the levels and the overworld.

It's rather ironic because I can't stand Minecraft. I do feel a little ripped off that I payed $15 but price aside I honestly think it's a pretty nice game. I think because I was tired of the same LEGO games over and over it was nice to see something different.

I can't stand Minecraft either. $15 is nothing for a game, most games are $60 when they first come out these days:S. You obviously never played LEGO Universe. Best game ever, LEGO or nonLEGO.

I agree $15 isn't bad compared to other games but it didn't feel worth it. I wish I could of played LU. I was close to joining it but I never did. It looked amazing!

Why, $15 is literally 2 hours of work. You wouldn't work for 2 hours for the game:S? Yeah, LU was SO AMAZING! Some people are actually rebuilding LU, it's called Darkflame Universe, or DLU!

Oh yeah! I never thought of it like that. You put some sense in my senseless mind! What?!? Do you know when it will be ready?

Yeah, I literally spend $10 a month on a video game I only get to play 2 days a week. That's literally less than 90 minutes pay for me though, so it's totally worth it. It just started Alpha testing, so might be a few years, but they are making progress:D! I hope to get in closed Beta when that comes, hopefully that comes out in the next year:).

That's good news! Even if I have to wait a couple of years, it'd be worth it!
