Yeah, I literally spend $10 a month on a video game I only get to play 2 days a week. That's literally less than 90 minutes pay for me though, so it's totally worth it. It just started Alpha testing, so might be a few years, but they are making progress:D! I hope to get in closed Beta when that comes, hopefully that comes out in the next year:).
That's good news! Even if I have to wait a couple of years, it'd be worth it!
Oh definitely! I will play no matter how long it takes!

I will probably get this game after LEGO City Undercover just because I like that more.
I liked LCU a lot more. Best TT LEGO game ever by far. Such an awesome story and TONS of content. Took me FOREVER to get everything in all the levels and the overworld.
Unfortunately, I never had a Wii U, but I am looking forward to experiencing the game on Xbox One.

I got a Wii U JUST to play LCU:D:P! Ended up getting 10 or so other games too after I beat LCU, but LCU was the main reason I chose it over other consoles:).

I like it. LEGO Worlds has definitely improved and the story element is fun. I have it for PC, but I really wish the Agents DLC pack would be available for everyone soon because Agents is my favorite theme.
There are a few strange things that I don't know if they are working properly. Sometimes I'll be able to do a quest multiple times for more studs, but it's not like it's any different from when I did it the first time. For example, I'll rescue a minifigure from an obstacle using the landscape tool and I'll get the rewards from it. Then I'll be able to do the mission again but since the obstructed terrain was already removed, I just need to accept the mission and I get the studs immediately, so I'm not sure if this is supposed to be an issue or not.
The keyboard controls are alright except for vehicles. For example, Up/W means forward direction of the player's view, which means I'll be driving a vehicle backwards but progressing in the forward direction in the game because I press the Up/W button.
You can change the vehicle controls by going into the "camera and axis" settings and changing vehicle controls from "directional" to "rotational".

LEGO Worlds is the best LEGO game IMO. I bought it last year earlier in the summer! I enjoyed playing it and wish I still could but seeing I no longer have Windows I'll just have to wait for the Mac release.
You really think that? TBH I didn't like it at all. It's just watered down Minecraft IMO, and I don't even like Minecraft:S. For example, you can only use 1 stud bricks. There's no SNOT or any good pieces. I would MUCH rather they just made a game that was LU properties and that was it. You just built properties, submitted them, and played on them with friends. Would have been much better.
LEGO Worlds has quite a few pieces, and definitely more than just 1-stud bricks. You have to unlock bricks as you progress through the game, but it helps players learn the system and become, as the game says, "master builders" before they're just given a bunch of bricks that they don't know how to use

Ah, very nice. Thanks! I didn't see those control options. I'll try them out!
I've got about 10 hours in so far and my answer to "What do I think of Lego Worlds?" is - I don't know.
Running around discovering stuff is fun (I love me a collectable!), but the building camera and UI is so clunky I tend to avoid building if I can. Good thing it's not a building game... oh, wait. I'm sure if I actually did it I'd get the hang of it, but I've read a lot of similar complaints.
I'm also unsure if the quests that won't complete are because of glitches or because I'm clueless!

By 1 stud bricks I meant bricks that take up 1 stud, not bricks that have 1 stud. For example, all they really have it basic bricks, tiles, and slopes.

I think you should give it another chance. It appears that they have3 updated it immensely since you played it. They have all kinds of bricks. All of the basic bricks, 1x1 2x1, 2x2, the classic, 2x4, all the long pieces, round, pillar pieces, steel grid pieces, all the slopes, straight and curved, all of the plates, both with studs and flat, and lots of others. No, they don't have everything, and you can't build at angles, sideways, offset, or with hinges, but they do have a very wide selection now.
And they also have tons of pre-made props that do use the more advanced building techniques, that can be used for more detail.
I think it's awesome. I've wanted a game like it for years: An actual Lego building game, with unlimited bricks. But I didn't even think about the idea of whole worlds build out of Lego bricks, which is what really makes it amazing. It is definitly not just minecraft, in many ways it's better than minecraft, as you can achieve so much more detail.

That's barely any bricks. I like lots of detailed bricks and small details, not giant blocky creations. Also, I play building games to build with LEGO, not place premade models:S.

LU was a LEGO building game. It didn't have "unlimited" bricks, but it was easy enough to get all the bricks you could possibly use in a week of farming and spending all your plastic on bricks and models to break for bricks. I literally have thousands of most of the bricks! Not to mention the rest of the game was amazing too:D!

Played the game for the first time a few days ago at a siblings house. LEGO games just aren't the same anymore IMO. Maybe 'cause I'm not playing it co-op, but I found it dreadfully boring... Or you know... Maybe I'm just too old.
It's like a clunky version of Minecraft. I'd rather get a bunch of friends together and build a Minecraft city in my free time.
The narrator is a very dull version of Kevan Brighting from the Stanley Parable and Stephen Fry from Little Big Planet. This guy is no fun at all. Those fellows were excellent and made basic games playable.
I made it to the pink lollie/sweets level before switching to something else. The narrator is such a bore, there doesn't seem to be any humour. LEGO games used to be funny and lighthearted.
I could only imagine how terrible this game was prior to narration. After all, any narration is better than none.

That's what I thought it was: watered down Minecraft. And that's coming from somebody who HATES MC:P. Seriously, I played it back when it first came out and there was no narration or story. You just ran around collecting items for no reason as well as building random stuff with a VERY limited selection of bricks. Overall, I was no impressed. I will only ever play again if they add an LDD sized selection of bricks.
