Dror nods. "Come, then. I will take you to him." He leads Xavic toward the stairs.
Xavic follows him.
Dror leads him downstairs and out the back door to the stables. He sees Gor'El's head and neck sticking up out of the dirt and five Xains surrounding him.

Xavic runs to Gor'El "It'll be fine, buddy." Xavic turns to Dror "Release him".

Dror shakes his head. "You know I can't. My duty is to my people first." He pulls Xavic aside. "Look, I have a plan. When the prisoner exchange take place, I will make sure blows are exchanged between the sides. In the ensuing chaos, you should be able to escape with your dragon. Please, just wait a little bit longer. And before you say anything, I am tired of waiting, too- waiting for this war to end, waiting to go home at last, waiting to see my son again- but it must be done."

Xavic sighs "Fine, at least we agree our people come first."
