Might I suggest that we add another region to hold the valleys beneath the MMs? The Carrock was quite a way away; it was several hours on the eagles, and they fly far faster than creatures of the ground travel. It doesn't seem right that the Carrock region should directly border Goblin Town.
Is that really neccessary? If you feel it is, then sure, give me another 500 MWE to roam the earth. It'll never get taken over because no-one can find it, and also I'm pretty sure that they surfaced in a part of the Carrock, and it was several Hours on Eagle to somewhere near men. Men were fairly far into the Carrock is essentially what I read, if not only in the Wilderlands and the Vales of Anduin.
You're forgetting what the Carrock is; it's a rock in the middle of the Anduin, not a large territory. On many maps, it looks like the area to the west is the Carrock, but that's because the writing wouldn't fit on the rock. The eagles refused to take them anywhere near men, and instead took them to the Carrock.
It's stated in the Hobbit that he meant to take the Old Forest Road. Aside from that, he warned the dwarves never to go anywhere near Dol Guldor. He wouldn't have taken them there. And there's no point traveling at least half the length of the Greenwood when there's a road in front of you.
So maybe make the HQ at the carrock and make a crossings of the Adunin just south of that along the old forest road?
I'm not sure there'd be room. We don't get the impression that the Carrock is huge or anything; people would be falling into the river.
Old MOrdor Leader? Same here! I'm now Moria and Isengard, but you know. umm. . . Here are the good HQ's I believe: Elves (Lothlorien/Mirkwood) Bree: Rivendell Erebor: Blue Mountains? Iron Hills? Rohan: Fangorn Gondor: Dol Amroth Their is one more, but I don't remember it.
So, the new rules has each of the 6 HQ's on each side have a Sub-HQ. For the HQ, it's essentially a region that gives you a half-HQ. The Sub HQ, for Isengard is the Wild Men, in Dunland (pretty sure). Isengard starts with a base 20,000 MWE. They'll march over and conquer, And then 10,000 Wild Men units can start walking around Middle Earth, under the Isengard players. I think I explained that decently.
Cool, I believe I remember you from when you lead Mordor, actually! Alright, I think I'll probably lead Mirkwood, but I despise having the elves at 1.3 MWE... it requires so much more math. ( ._.)
Pretty ingenious. We should try to get more participants though.
For a long time, I agreed with your more math thing. Then I realized. . . If you do the math for your typical numbers-1,2,5,10 etc. and then keep them somewhere, it's easy AND canonical. And about Mordor, I think I remember you in Umbar. Their were like, 5 leaders of Umbar in a small time but I think I remember you.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.
Technically, Moria is not a vassal of Mordor (although in the RP, they are allied.)
Grulkogh does not bow to anyone!
Um, Tuvok, uh, bad news. Dol Guldur was created by the same orcs that created Mordor, implying that it bows to Sauron. Granted, it bows to Sauron and Sauron alone, but still. . .

Well, I'm pretty sure Moria orcs were with the Mordor and Isengard orcs that the Fellowship at Path Galen.
Their were some Morian orcs allied, but in general Morian orcs fought for themselves, and occasionally helped Isengard/Mordor to get in good with them, but they were otherwise very independant.

Good luck with that. You will have to fight both me and rex, both good generals who capured empires in the old RP. Your going to be fighting against three sub-HQs and at least one full HQ.
And here's an idea: how about no one who's HQ is directly bordering certain topics will post said topics? It would definitely make things more fair all around. Just a thought.
Ok, Rexcody, that doesn't matter who posts them, I just like posting ones near my HQ's because then I'll (hopefully) know the borders around their a bit better. And 8Legos, You'll be fighting Goblins in the High Pass (and it'll probably be you and Bree, nobody else their) Because that the Elves will be fighting Dol Guldur. If I can convince Isengard or someone to assist, then the High Pass will be and even playing field. And even if you take the High Pass, you won't take Goblin Town, it's deep in the earth. No-one will let you in.

True. Though if Gondor, Rohan and Lorien had fallen, no doubt Moria would have bowed to Mordor. They wouldn't have the numbers to resist the One, and Sauron could easily have manipulated them. He was almost certainly present when Melkor created orcs, and would have known a lot about them.
Obviously, in the RP it will be different, and HQs will have equal numbers. So Moria will act more as an ally than a vassal, unlike Dol Guldor, Rhun and Harad.
In the words of my favorite Youtuber "Mae Gavonion Mellyn nin and well met indeed my friends"
Hi rex! I'm glad your finally here!
I'm not going to reply to everything since others all ready have. But I'm glad to have you as my HQ leader. (I'm the only other member in Mirkwood.)
Y'know, I'm not going to even bother with a fancy reply. 'Sup, 8L? xD
Glad to be here after I might have said I wouldn't a while ago *cough*
Thanks. No way, you're in the Mirkwood HQ, too? I'm going to be in Mirkwood only, since I won't have all the time in the world for the RP and I'll be the 1ic, which I didn't originally intend.
I do. I just like to talk in sindarin where (most) people don't think i'm compleaty insane, they all ready know that I am. School.
I'm glad you are too, you knew where wouldn't let you not join.
Yep! Joining my old HQ's. Then do you want me to control the Lothlorion sub-hq?
You will have to claim it, and trust me I've got the same concerns. I'm leading Moria, and I'm closer to Rivendell (Bree's Sub HQ) and we're equal distances away from the High Pass and my Sub-HQ of Goblin Town. If push comes to shove, I'm probably going to trade Rivendell for the Goblin HQ, and then push my way out. I'm 2ic of Isengard in this RP, and I believe EmeraldEddie is 3ic (might not be him, but their already is one.)
Okay, that really concerns me. If you want my opinion, it doesn't make sense for an orc HQ to take control of an elven/man sub HQ...it's pretty weird. But, if that's the way it goes, so be it. It doesn't matter too much to me, I suppose.
MM was mistaken when he posted this. You do not have to claim a sub-hq, you start with it.

Why thank you. That's what I thought when I came up with it.
