So, since we have got the FA RP going now, I thought that I should probably put this up, since I believe there was more interest for a TA RP.
So, the Third Age begins when Sauron is defeated by Isildur and Co. and ends with the second defeat of Sauron. For the RP it will likely be set during the events of the Two Towers and time will stop, at least in terms of the LotR storyline. There will be Elvish HQs, Dwarvish HQs and Mannish HQs, as well as Orcs and all sorts of other creatures of Middle Earth.
There is much to be discussed, so let us begin. (I think this is needed now, so we can get planning done in reasonable time, although maybe I was a bit hasty )
Yay! I would definitely like to be part of this RP! Does it work like the FA one? And are we allowed to use canon characters?
Ehh, it's very different to the FA RP in many ways, and I'm sure someone with more time will explain it to you. Oh, and no canon characters
One mod to rule them all and in the darkness ban them - Lord of the Mods "I am the Mod Reborn!" - masterlegobuilders I'm the real boss

Welcome! Mostly. This RP is a bit bigger, spanning the entire mapped area of Middle-earth (instead of just the Southeast), and has four more HQs. Each HQ is a bit smaller here (having twenty thousand MWE each), but we also have "sub-HQs" which are essentially HQs, except that they're run by the people in whatever main HQ owns them, and can be captured (for a reduced benefit to the new owner). There are, of course, other differences between these, but they're pretty small and you'll learn them as you go. No, unfortunately. LMB RPs traditionally don't allow canon characters, as then you have to solve arguments between users who both want the same character.

Makes sense on the canon characters thing, but I still wouldn't say no to a bit of RPing as Legolas.
