LMB History: - Joined LEGO.com in 2009, made my first LMB post in 2011, and finally joined the LMBs in 2013. - Probably been a year since I was last active. Work got busy. - I think I shifted between LEGO Friends, Disney Princess, and LEGO General. - Found the Editor's Pick on the front page of LEGO.com: "What's your favorite Ninjago Quote" - One of my favorite LMB memories was making the 'Yearbook' picture before the LMBs closed. - I think I'm one of the few people who got pretty involved in a few of the activates that the mods ran, including getting an interview, winning a Golden Brick Award, and joining the Community Helper program.
About Myself: - I'm a secret agent an engineer, mostly writing software. - I don't really have a favorite LEGO theme nowadays, mainly cause I'm more focused on making my own things. - I enjoy watching an unhealthy amount of anime, playing video games, and walking around in busy malls.

So yeah, that's me. Nothing too complex, just growing up.
That makes too much sense tbh new pet conspiracy theory xD
The silly conspiracy theories are always so much more fun than the serious ones tbh Like Nessie!
Nessie falls more under the category of cryptid, not necessarily CONspiracy. The silly conspiracies are stuff like Disney making Frozen just so that people wouldn't be able to easily use Google to find out about the theory of Walt himself being cryogenically frozen because anything with "Disney" and "frozen" would just bring up the movie.
I can't believe I had the same awful signature for nearly 8 years. Sorry for disappearing for 2 months, life happened for a bit.
Honestly! We got 10 year olds out here acting like adults and posting videos of themselves all over social media. When I was 10 I was goofing around talking about Lego dinosaurs.
I can't believe I had the same awful signature for nearly 8 years. Sorry for disappearing for 2 months, life happened for a bit.
The presence of the gang alone was enough to compete with FF.
Even if it isn't I hope we can do more regular reunions than once every 5 years.
FF trembled in our power Sure thing! Sounds good
and now FF is the only active chatroom left. We're talking about trying to make it at least once every 3-6 months. People get busy with life of course but it would be nice to stay in touch more regularly.

Rude of no one to memo me about the CLASS REUNION, but ok
~
Hello. I'm Bun. I just turned 21 last Thursday (woO), imma senior in college now, one semester left which is crazy to me. Current profession is crashing on my parents' couch and eating all their snacks over winter break. I'm a Zoology and Theatre student, so after next May I actually get to go work with animals and do the thing for real. Hopefully.
Speaking of graduation, after I get my diploma and get Steve Irwin's blessing from heaven and all that, one of the opportunities I'm looking at is applying for an internship at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World. It would mean something along the lines of educating people in the park with the help of ambassador animals, which I've been doing for the past few years at our local zoo -- on a much smaller scale, of course. Eventually it could also mean becoming a zookeeper in the park as well. This is all IF that's the path I go down for any amount of time. But it would be pretty frickin cool.
Life updates
Already mentioned I'm graduating soon and just had a birthday so that's old news. I guess the biggest changes I can talk about are the way college has helped me grow as a person and overcome my anxiety, understand myself better, all the good stuff. It's also made me laugh at Disney movies portraying love and relationships the way they do but wE WON'T GET INTO THAT
Lowkey became a practicing witch over the past year, so that's been pretty cool. Mostly to other folks it just means I collect pretty crystals and random stuff from the woods and stare at the moon a lot. I can't do tarot yet so don't ask.
I'm gonna be getting a new pet within the next couple weeks? ^v^ A snek, specifically. A ball python, most specifically. I've wanted one for a while, but I've wanted many pets for a while But I was gifted a terrarium for my birthday and told I could adopt one. So whaddya know. I get snek.
prolly left out some crucial details but idk what ive been up to anymore than yall do really
BUN!! YOU CAME! I was hoping so much that you'd show up for the reunion, though I had no idea how to contact you X3
That's amazing that you're actually getting to study Zoology like you wanted to for so long!! And an internship at Animal Kingdom at Disney World?!? That would be AWESOME! I'm genuinely so happy to hear that you're getting to work with animals
And practicing witch?? What a VIBE I've seen some social media accounts talking about that kind of thing but have never looked into it much. Is this Wicca or something different? Sorry, I don't know much about it.
And you have got to share pictures once you get that snek.
TIGRESS!! Idk how I ended up here, the universe just brought me back at the right time I guess. I'm glad it did, cuz I would've hated if I missed the reunion.
I knowww right? It's honestly been so cool, even without working with animals yet per se. Just the classes I've gotten to take, despite how difficult they can be sometimes, and learning the actual science behind my interests have been truly so enjoyable. I've become more of a big ol nerd than ever. xD And the Animal Kingdom thing is wilddd if it happens Even my advisor was like "oh, that sounds great for you" when I told him it was something I was considering after graduation. Man doesn't even know I run the Disney club on campus but he picks up on the vibe.
Sorta! Wicca is a religion, which I don't technically follow (I consider myself in the process of deconstructing childhood beliefs while figuring out what to keep and what to toss, I'm somewhere under the umbrella of paganism rn but not specific ) so the practice is closely linked with Wicca but can still be independent of it.
And I have her, she's here I looked around for a bit last Friday and ended up holding two others before I decided to adopt this one, but there was just somethin about her. I named her Circe and she's the sweetest lil thing.

It's super cool that you're still building your own LEGO creations on top of work and whatnot. Made anything fun lately?

Must be a literal Christmas miracle or something, because that seems to be how a lot of the users here showed up at the same time
Eeeee that's amazing! And the Disney Club-! Of course you'd do that, I love it XDD What all do you do in the club?
(Omg I am also in the process of deconstructing childhood beliefs while figuring out what to keep and what to toss, twinninggggg ) Ooh, that's really cool! Have you been able to meet many people on campus who also practice it?
AWWW, the little noodle!! How do you pronounce that? She's so tiiiiinyyyy, oh my goodness
Reading, no matter what it is, is good for you! Well - that’s what i say when i try and justify reading cheesy elf love stories over “real literature”
you must hold him at brick point and demand his presence
Felt that, that's what I'd tell myself during my very intense Warrior Cats phase. xDD I'd love to get back into reading fantasy and literature though, it's been a while. College has been sapping up my spare brain cells.
On it 🫡
to be fair, this year ive read more than ever despite being in uni - i was in an intense reading slump for a few years before that - maybe youre in one of your reading slump years

When i was ten my biggest problem was getting coins on club penguin

I wonder if the person who made the original FF knows about their couniting legacy
My school definitely didn't have one either, our club spirit was sadly lacking.
Honestly, it can be very calming. Or terrifying, I guess, depending on the person. How big was the python? I don't know at what size I'd start to feel unCONfortable, but I don't think it's very large.
That's sad. We have too many clubs for our own good, some of them as random as you can get.
True that. She's probably 3 feet ish? Idk, a decent size. Her tank is big. She tangled herself around my arm once while I was in a meeting and I couldn't get her off. She's just a sweet lil girl.
We just had the essentials, English, Science, Rock-Climbing, too many of them just sounded like additional school work.
Much bigger than any I've held. She sounds sweet alright, she probably gives better hugs than I do.

Hi Bun! It's been a while!
Yep, or at least I try to. I didn't bring much of my LEGO collection from home when I moved out, but from time to time I'll work on random LEGO projects when I return home for the holidays. Mainly been making little LEGO models of things at work.
