LMB history
I think I was on the original LMBs starting in like? 2019?? I have no idea, I just remember my profile always said I joined in 2016 and it was never accurate. I was active on the galleries for like the ENTIRETY of the 2010s, but never the LMBs.
It's probably been a good 3 years since I've been properly active here, that's when I started college.
I feel like the best context I can give is just the entire Disney board. That was my turf, that was the kingdom I RULED over as the LMBs' residential Disney Princess And not much has changed there lol. I started a Disney club IRL (called Clubhouse cuz cute marketing) at my college and have been president of it for almost 2 years now. So. Bringing the magic to life.

Hello. I'm Bun. I just turned 21 last Thursday (woO), imma senior in college now, one semester left which is crazy to me. Current profession is crashing on my parents' couch and eating all their snacks over winter break. I'm a Zoology and Theatre student, so after next May I actually get to go work with animals and do the thing for real. Hopefully.
Speaking of graduation, after I get my diploma and get Steve Irwin's blessing from heaven and all that, one of the opportunities I'm looking at is applying for an internship at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World. It would mean something along the lines of educating people in the park with the help of ambassador animals, which I've been doing for the past few years at our local zoo -- on a much smaller scale, of course. Eventually it could also mean becoming a zookeeper in the park as well. This is all IF that's the path I go down for any amount of time. But it would be pretty frickin cool.
Life updates
Already mentioned I'm graduating soon and just had a birthday so that's old news. I guess the biggest changes I can talk about are the way college has helped me grow as a person and overcome my anxiety, understand myself better, all the good stuff. It's also made me laugh at Disney movies portraying love and relationships the way they do but wE WON'T GET INTO THAT
Lowkey became a practicing witch over the past year, so that's been pretty cool. Mostly to other folks it just means I collect pretty crystals and random stuff from the woods and stare at the moon a lot. I can't do tarot yet so don't ask.
I'm gonna be getting a new pet within the next couple weeks? ^v^ A snek, specifically. A ball python, most specifically. I've wanted one for a while, but I've wanted many pets for a while But I was gifted a terrarium for my birthday and told I could adopt one. So whaddya know. I get snek.

The Galleries were such a weird space of purgatory. To me it almost feels like one of those dreams you have when you're sick and feverish and tossing and turning in your bed.
I remember it mostly as glitches and trolls especially near the end but also simultaneously it's very nostalgic and it was still one of the best platforms for posting my LEGO art and for looking at other LEGO art I miss the close community vibes of it all.
True. Me too... I remember how a couple of users my brother and I had become close friends with had had to leave against their will just before the Galleries shut down, and it was gut-wrenching. (>~>) I loved seeing the Ninjago fan-art and the Lego comics that people were doing, especially the cross-overs. Those were so much fun.
