Episode 12 Part 5:
Cole, who was still in the Fangpyre Truck, used the machine's tail to swat nearby bite cycles off the road. He rammed into the side of another truck that was going after Kai and began pushing it at the Bite cycles who were firing at him, using it as a shield. The bite cycles scattered and drove around Cole, firing at his tires and punching bullet holes through one of them on the left, forcing him to hit the brakes. Suddenly, they stopped driving around him. One of the elite three walked up, holding two long knives in his hands. The Serpentine cheered.

Zane hurried to the car with the turrets, aiming to detach it from the rest of the train. Suddenly, multiple snakes with muskets began to climb out. In a panic, Zane dropped down to the inside of the car, where he used Spinjitzu to knock away the guards. When he stopped, he came face-to-face with another member of the elite three, this time holding a bow.

A Fangpyre truck drove up to Kai and attempted to ram into him, but the red ninja was too fast. The truck then swung its tail at him. Kai ducked, but it hit him on the second swing. Rather than knocking him off, though, Kai was able to hold onto the tail, which tried to shake him off, but failed. A bite cycle drove under Kai, preparing to strike him, but the red ninja grabbed the driver's head with his legs and hurled him off, then jumping onto the cycle and shooting a jet of flame at the truck's tire in front of him. The tire went flat instantly and the vehicle went spinning out of control, flipping over on its back in front of Kai. The red ninja used a rock as a ramp to propel his bike upwards and soar over the truck. He landed perfectly and prepared to move back to the train when another snake jumped down and landed on top of his bike with the agility of a, well... Ninja. It then slashed at the back tire and the vehicle flipped over, sending both of them flying. As Kai got up, he came face-to-face with a member of the elite three, wielding a sword.
Cole and the Serpentine stared each other down on top of the Fangpyre truck for a moment, until the black ninja swung his scythe at him. The assassin ducked under it, rushed past him and slammed the back of one of his knives into Cole's head. The earth ninja fell to the ground, and his ears rang as the surrounding Serpentine cheered. This was interrupted by Cole sending his adversary to the ground by tripping him with his scythe as he wasn't paying attention. They both got up and dueled some more, until the snake decided to stop playing around and thrust his knife at the ninja. Cole jumped back, but stumbled and fell into the driver's seat of the open cockpit. The assassin grinned, preparing to deal the finishing blow. Cole looked around in a panic and slammed on the gas pedal, sending the truck speeding forward and knocking away the surrounding bite cycles as the other snakes cried out in outrage. The assassin lost his balance and fell over, but managed to hold on to the vehicle. Cole grabbed his scythe and prepared to slash at him, but the snake, in a panic, threw one of his knives at the tire, flattening yet another one. With only two functioning tires, the truck lost control and skidded around, eventually just flipping over onto its back, sending Cole and the assassin flying. Cole landed on his side, but the snake gracefully ended up on his feet. He walked over and pulled the knife out of the truck's tire as Cole struggled to get up. Eventually, the ninja of earth got back to his feet as the assassin ran towards him, grinning malevolently. Suddenly, a huge hunk of rock came out of the ground, knocking the snake into the air and making him land on the truck, unconscious.
"Yeah, brilliant idea," Cole said to him, "Get off the vehicle and fight the Earth ninja on the ground. Idiot." Smiling, the earth ninja mounted a toppled cycle, and sped off to find Jay and Nya.
The archer assassin stood directly in front of Zane, drawing his bow and firing an arrow, which Zane dodged by rolling to the side. The white ninja then dashed forward and knocked his opponent into the wall, kicking his crossbow away afterwards. Zane dashed out of the train car and leapt on top of it, taking the musketeers by surprise and sending them flying off the train with Spinjitzu. He jumped onto the next car, then the next, trying to reach the one with the turrets. Suddenly, he heard a sound and ducked. An arrow passed through the space where his head had been a second ago. He turned to see the archer once again, standing on top of the train and preparing another arrow. Before he could fire, though, the train passed under a tunnel, forcing them both to duck. Zane crawled to the end of the car he was on and went inside of the following one. Skales was standing there, mouth agape.
"How did you-" the Hypnobrai general was interrupted when Zane kicked him through the window. Two more snakes ran at him with swords, but the white ninja kicked one in the gut and grabbed the second by the collar of his tunic, lifting him up and banging his head on the metal ceiling. The snake slumped to the ground, unconscious. Zane ran into the next car, where Acidicus was waiting. The Venomari general spit venom in his face, obscuring Zane's vision and causing hallucinations. Mostly unaffected by it at this point, the ninja of ice repaid him by knocking him out with a sideways kick. The next car was the one with the turrets, so Zane ran forward and detached it from the rest of the train, then jumping to the next car. Suddenly, he saw the assassin standing on the detached car, aiming his bow. Actually, the Venomari Venom made Zane think it was a box of Froot Loops, so, in a panic, he shot a blast of ice at the wheel of the detached car, freezing it and sending the car spiraling off its path and eventually falling over on it's side, toppling the assassin as well. In Zane's eyes, Froot Loops were not part of a good breakfast.
Kai leapt back and blocked the assassin's sword with his own. He then ducked under another swing and thrust his weapon at his adversary, who jumped over it and plunged his sword into the ground, where Kai had been standing a second ago. The red ninja had rolled out of the way and prepared another attack. Then he struck, assailing the snake with a series of skilled slashes, all of which were effortlessly parried by the assassin, who, after toying with him for a few moments, grew tired of it and launched a counterattack, where he knocked Kai's blade out of his hand with a single swing. Kai stared at him, in shock. He couldn't for long, however, for the assassin prepared yet another strike, this one aimed at Kai. The ninja of fire sprinted to his sword, his enemy gaining quickly. He rolled out of the way of another blow and grabbed his golden weapon, quickly returning to his feet. The two dueled some more, this time Kai being more careful. The battle seemed pretty evenly matched, which is why the assassin didn't like it. He signaled a nearby Bite cycle with the nod of his head, which, as the two were dueling, drove right towards Kai, who yelped and rolled out of the way. The bike turned around and came in for another pass, this time with its driver pointing a spear at him. The assassin watched from a distance.
"Coward!" Kai shouted at him, leaping out of the way of the bike again. There was no reply. After dodging a third pass of the bike, Kai shot a fireball at its back tire. The driver screamed as the vehicle exploded, sending him flying. The assassin ran at Kai as he had his back turned, but the red ninja expected this. He activated his Spinjitzu and melted the snake's sword as he was swinging. Kai then left his tornado form and knocked the assassin into unconsciousness with a kick.
"You got burned!" he said smugly.
"Boo," Nya replied from above, in response to his terrible pun.
"The Elite three are down, half of the train is detached and the Samurai is coming."
Pythor stood there in shock for a second, then turned to Oakroup. "Drive faster!"
"I can't, sire, if we go any faster the engine will-" Pythor shoved him out of the vehicle and floored it, causing the train to move at a dangerous speed.
"Stop the ninja!" he ordered Snappa, who hastily exited the car.

Zane pressed forward, going through car after car until he reached the penultimate one, where a group of serpentine made their last stand. Fangtom and Skalidor signaled for the musketeers to fire, and fire they did. However, Zane activated his spinjitzu, and the musketballs weren't able to even scratch him, as they were obliterated on contact with the tornado, which then zoomed forward and knocked the snakes away like they were bowling pins, sending them flying in different directions. Snappa rushed at him with his spear, but Zane dodged it swiftly and sent the Fangpyre sprawling through the train window with a kick to the chest. Suddenly, Wu rushed past him and jumped to the last car, then detaching it from the rest of the train.
"Sensei, what are you doing?" Zane asked.
"I'll take care of Pythor," Wu shouted as the gap between the cars grew more distant, "You help your brothers." And with that, he went threw the door. Pythor turned around and cried out in rage when he saw Wu.
"Fine," he hissed, placing his sack of fangblades on the pedal and getting up, "Have it your way." He grabbed a sword lying against the wall and slashed at Wu, who blocked it with his bo staff. The staff was sliced in half by Pythor's sword, forcing Wu to jump back and kick the Anacondrai into the front. Pythor, in desperation, took a fangblade from the bag and threw it at Wu, who leapt out of the way but into the wall, knocking the wind out of him. Pythor prepared to finish him, but the train spiraled out of control and fell on its side... Right in front of snake city.
Pythor stumbled out of the wreckage of the front car, carrying the bag of fangblades. Once his vision cleared, he saw the Great Devourer's shrine in the center of the city in front of him, and chuckled. He slithered over and placed all four of the fangblades in their proper places around the statue. He looked behind, and saw the Samurai approaching. Suddenly, the ground began to tremble, and Pythor cackled maniacally. The statue of the great devourer in front of him began to crumble as the trembling increased, until it was merely a pile of rocks.
"What?" Pythor protested, "It's not in the statue?" The floor began to crack from beneath him, and he slithered back.
"Are you happy now?" Wu asked, who had been standing behind him, "Is this what you wanted?"
"I..." Pythor's voice trailed off.
"The Devourer will not merely focus on the human race, but every living creature. That includes you."
"But the prophecy said-" Suddenly, the great snake burst out from the center of the shrine, shrieking as the ninja came forward.
"Sensei!" Kai cried out. Wu dashed over to Pythor and grabbed his arm.
"We will be it's first meal," he said, then directing his voice at the ninja, "Go! You four are our only chance!" The massive green snake shrieked again and lunged at Wu and Pythor, swallowing the two of them in one gulp.
"Sensei..." Cole whispered. The four were too shocked to say anything or run. Suddenly, the Bounty arrived, firing at the beast. It didn't harm the snake at all, only annoying it.
"Come on!" Nya shouted from the deck. The ninja snapped out of it and dashed towards the ship, leaping into the entrance without it having to land. The Bounty soared into the sky as the Devourer gave chase.

Episode 13 Day of the Great Devourer Part 1:
The Devourer moved at a surprisingly fast pace. Before long, it was gaining on the Bounty.
"Snakes aren't supposed to be that fast!" Jay cried.
"I calculate a 2.8% chance that we'll be able to escape the current situation," Zane estimated.
"We've had worse," Nya shrugged as she slammed on the pedal. The Bounty sprung forward, moving even faster, but was still not fast enough to evade its predator.
"We're moving too slow..." Cole said.
"Everyone!" Kai exclaimed, "Throw any useless junk out of the ship! We need it to lose weight!"
"We could also make it do a few sit-ups. that'd work," Jay replied as he tossed a lamp over the side.
"Can we throw him off?" Cole asked. The ninja dumped more of the Bounty's dead weight until Kai noticed something. The Devourer was slightly larger than it had been before, and it was snatching the falling objects out of the air with its jaws
"Stop!" Kai cried, "It's getting bigger the more it eats!" Everyone halted.
"Then what do we-" Jay was interrupted as the snake tore a huge chunk out of the back of the Bounty, causing it to fall right out of the sky. Luckily, the ship wasn't very high up to begin with, and the all six of them were standing near the top of the ship, so when it hit the ground, they only suffered a nasty fall. Or... Nasty tumble, as gravity pretty much reversed on them.
"We need to get out of here!" Cole cried. He smashed open a nearby window and he, Zane, Kai, Jay, Nya and Lloyd all crawled through. They has crashed nearby a huge canyon, so they were able to hide behind a huge stone wall as the Devourer finished consuming their beloved ship. Jay was almost in tears.
"My creation..." his voice trailed off. Not only was he upset over the loss of his ship, but the loss of his supercomputer. He had never even given it a name. At that moment, all seemed lost. An extremely potent enormous snake that was virtually indestrictable was freely roaming Ninjago.

Episode 13 Part 2:
The ninja were silent until the snake slithered off into the horizon, to be sure it didn't hear them.
"Well, we lose," Jay said, smiling once it had left, "So, what do you guys want to do for your last couple hours of life?"
"Jay, we can still-" Kai began.
Jay burst into maniacal laughter. "Are you SERIOUS Kai?" he asked, "This thing is INDESTRUCTIBLE. And last time I checked, YOU CAN'T DESTROY SOMETHING THAT'S INDESTRUCTIBLE!"
"Jay..." Nya sighed, burying her face in her hands.
"As upsetting as it is to say, I'm afraid Jay's right," Zane added, "We have no way of beating such a beast."
"Yes we do," said Cole. The others were confused.
"What do you-"
"Everything has a weakness, Jay," Cole said as he paced around the area, "There's gotta be some way to beat this thing. But we're gonna need to be creative."
"We don't have time to be creative!" Kai protested, "That thing is going around eating anything it sees. Eventually it'll reach Ninjago city!"
"We don't need much time," Cole said, coming to a sudden realization, "Kai, remember when the Skullkin were surrounding us in the underworld and we used that move? What was it called again?"
"Tornado of creation," Lloyd stated.
"Yes, that's it! Sensei said that with this move we would be able to create anything we want at will. We weren't able to do much with it last time, but now that we've reached our full potential..."
"We could create an enormous superweapon!" Jay exclaimed, undergoing an abrupt change of emotion, "I'll draw the blueprints!" He ran away from the area, happy as can be.
"Well, you'd better be fast!" Nya exclaimed, "Ninjago doesn't have very long until it's completely devoured by an enormous green reptile."
"Okay," Jay said, laying out his blueprints for the Ultra Sonic Raider on a rock, "We're all gonna have to study this carefully in order for this to work. All four of us need to activate Spinjitzu with this machine in mind in order for it to come out the way we need it to." After they had all memorized its shape and details, they walked out into the distance and activated Spinjitzu in unison. After a brief period of time, the four tornados merged to create an enormous funnel of wind and dust. Nearby objects flew into the tornado, including bits of the ruined Bounty’s machinery, with Lloyd and Nya standing at a safe distance. After a minute or two, it was finished. They had created a huge war machine out of nearby rocks and scrap metal. The four exited the tornado and beheld their creation. It was marvelous, consisting of numerous turrets on the side and one laser cannon on top. It was as sturdy and powerful as a tank, but as quick as a sports car. To spare you the details, it was incredible.
"I'll call the Samurai," Nya said, breaking the silence, "It may have survived. If so, I'll take Lloyd somewhere safe. If not, I'll call you."
"Sounds like a plan," Cole said, then turning attention to the ninja, "You ready to destroy that thing once and for all?" The ninja cheered and hopped into the Raider, driving off into the distance.
"It went in the direction of Jamanakai village," Cole pointed out to Jay, who was driving, "We'll have to catch up to it before it consumes the whole town."

They found the Devourer at a remote farm, eating the owner of the property's house. The farmer was screaming and running around in circles. He then stopped when he noticed the ninja.
"The ninja!" he exclaimed, "Please help me. This huge snake is eating up my whole farm. It's gonna go after the chicken coop next! No... Not the chickens! DA CHICKENZ!"
"Calm down," Kai said, "We're on it." The snake stopped eating the barn and noticed the Raider.
All four of the Serpentine tribes were gathered near the Fangpyre tomb.
"Well that was a failure," Snappa muttered.
"Still your tongue!" Skales ordered, "Now that Pythor's gone, I'm in command, and I say that the only way to escape the Devourer is to hide in a Serpentine tomb!"
"Oh, the irony," Snappa sighed as he hopped into the tomb, for he could not logically disagree. The rest of the snakes followed suit, and Chokun closed the door behind them.
"Chokun, PLEASE tell me you undid the lock," Skales hissed.
"Uh...."
The new snake king screamed.

The ninja fired at the Devourer once it was close enough. The turrets blasted away, but they all bounced off the beast's indestructible scales, only somewhat annoying it. The Raider backed away quickly, but not quickly enough to prevent the snake's tail from smashing into the right side of it.
"Zane!" Cole cried as the vehicle sped away, "Are you okay?"
"I..." Zane said weakly, "I'm fine." Half of his robotic face had been torn off, and he most certainly did not look fine.
"That's it," Jay said, turning the vehicle around as DA CHICKENZ began running rampant.
"Jay, what are you-" Kai began.
"NO ONE hurts my friend like that." The snake bowed its head down and prepared to strike, allowing for Jay to fire the laser cannon right at its forehead, where there was a small scar. The snake shrieked in agony and whacked the Raider once again with its tail, this time so hard that the vehicle was sent flying into the farmer's house. The four ninja got out of the now useless Raider as the Great Devourer fled to the west.
"It's heading for Ninjago city," Zane pointed out.
"We found a weak spot!" Jay cried, ignoring Zane's statement.
"Yeah, but we'll need to hit it with something a lot more powerful than that," Kai pointed out. The ninja then noticed the farmer staring, jaw dropped, at the ruins of his house.
"Sorry, man," Jay apologized, "Do you have insurance?"
"If it wasn't for Allstate, I'd never be able to farm again," he said, staring at the TV screen.
