" South Ithilien is the southern part of Ithilien, containing the hills of Emyn Arner. It stretches from the foul river Morgulduin in the north, to the River Poros to the south. To the east are the Ephel Duath, the mountains of Mordor, and to the west is the Anduin, which the Morgulduin and Poros flow into. The Hills of Emyn Arner are in the north, occupying almost the whole area between the river and the mountains. In the south there is a ridge of unamed hills along the northern bank of the Poros, near the Mountains of Mordor. A sing ford crosses the Poros from Harondor, and the road then spilts, one half leading to Pelagir, and the other heads north. South Ithilien borders Harondor to the south, Pelagir to the west, and Osgiliath, the Crossroads, and the Morgul Vale to the north. It is a key region for controling this part of Middle-earth."
To clarify, it borders the following regions:
- Osgiliath - N. Ithilien - Morgul Vale - Crossings of Poros
It provides the standard 1,000 MWE to whoever claims it.
The day of prosperity makes one forget adversity; The day of adversity makes one forget prosperity.

Heh, the race is on. 8L, you posted here first, but Bobby is moving troops retroactively. So he got the region. Ofc, your landing here still stands, so you now have troops here as well. Methinks battle is imminent.
The day of prosperity makes one forget adversity; The day of adversity makes one forget prosperity.
*A great host enters, glittering in the sun* They unfurl the banner of Gondor atop Emyn Arnen, and claim the region for Gondor*
*Most of them pass on to the south, leaving 500 behind, who begin improving defenses and gathering troops*
today:
*continued*
*suddenly several men (cavalery if you have them) go down to long red arrows
Well, you do have troops here, but they're really not close to his. Bobby specifically noted the Emyn Arnen as his fortress location, whereas you landed on the coast. So you'll have to approach him first.

They are close enough to stop troop generation right?

Yeah, once you're both in the region, battle time starts.

*The troops here take up a defensible position on one of the hills, or in the fortress.* They rally around the banner of Gondor, and trumpets are Blown*
"This land is part of the Kingdom of Gondor. Please leave in peace, for we do not wish for battle."
OOC: How many troops do you have? I have 250 Swordsmen and 250 Archers.
OOC* I'm not sure if there should be an actual fortress here. Faramir and Eowyn had their home in Emyn Arnen after the War of the Ring, but that doesn't necessarily mean there were fortifications.*
*A fleet of warships and troop transports lands north of the Corsairs, and 2,400 troops with siege engines disembark, then march inland to get between the Corsairs and Emyn Arnen*

OOC: Ok that sounds good so no fortress (yet).
OOC2: 50 Castimars rangers, and 25 Castimar's chosen worth 6 each. Total MWE 450.
*my troops sneek past your lines and addvance on the men working on the fortress* In secret. of course.
