IC: Giddy tramps along, noticeably not riding Finn, who stays close but not too close. Giddy tries to engage Dernis in conversation. "Hey now, what's up man? We doing anything special today?"
Dernis shrugs. "Same as always. Eat, train, eat, train, eat, sleep, repeat." There is a restless note in his voice. "I don't think so; like I said, the same as always."
OOC: Dernis looks a lot like Hithrol, in case you were wondering, just with Tya's darker complexion and hair.
Giddy picks up on his restlessness, and is quick to try and ease it back down. "Wonderful, chap. I'd hate to break the routine."

"Yeah, routine." Dernis goes quiet; the tone in his voice suggested that Giddy's words didn't help much.
OOC: I want to put a pause on this, for now, unless Giddy has more to say. I'd rather not make any more progress towards the training grounds until Neko and Winn have had a chance to reply.
Azar arrived with Callusthe at Paladeen only five days ago. She is still getting used to the routine: breakfast, followed by combat training, which is highly encouraged, though not mandatory, then lunch and lessons or more training, and finally dinner. Like at home, Azar’s meals are prepared for her, but she is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the small house that she, as with the other Riders, has been given to live in. Callusthe stays a short distance away in one of the large pavilions built to allow several Companions to sleep in comfort.
There are four retired Riders in Paladeen, two of whom are still accompanied by their Companions. In addition, there is one active Rider, Dernis Jiwovz, and his companion, Aretgarlja, as well as two pairs of new recruits: the human man named Barsa Mortuka and his dragon Companion, Heren, and the Lizardfolk man called Giddy and his dragon Companion, Finn. Since all the other active Riders have been out on missions, Azar has not yet met any of them.
Right now, Azar, having just finished breakfast, is on her way to the training grounds with Callusthe. As they head to Practice Field A, they are joined by Dernis, Aretgarlja, Barsa, Heren, Giddy, and Finn.

Azar makes her way toward the training grounds with Callusthe at her side and the other riders nearby. Hmm, She thinks, wondering whether to engage in conversation or not. The lizard-man and human Rider are talking, ruling them out of the equation, the other recruit and his dragon are silent. Deciding against it for the time being, Azar walks with the group in silence, carefully studying her fellow riders.
I'd love to join, though I do not know how to roleplay. Well, better start somewhere, right?
Rider Name: Lucresia Cadmar (Called Cadmar) Species: Half-blood dwarf (suspected half Falkrion) Gender: Female Age: 29 Physical Description: Relatively tall for a dwarf, bushy brown hair that's never brushed, and small brown eyes that needs glasses. Wears dwarven clothing sewn to match her abnormal height, always wears a head piece (hoods or knitted hats) Personality: Horribly stubborn. Keeps to herself, though once she's made contact, she wants to keep acquaintance. Equipment/Weapons: A spear, a staff, anything that resembles a long, hard stick. Abilities: Jack of all trades, master of none, she's able to craft some of many kinds of weapons, armour, or artillery. Backstory: Abandoned by her mother (who had been rumored to look bird-like), she was raised by her aunt, who had no communication to her parents two years before her birth. Nevertheless she was raised lovingly, and told that no matter what, she will never follow in her mysterious mother's footsteps. When her aunt had decided she had come of age, Cadmar head out with her grown drake companion to become a rider, secretly in pursuit to find out about her rider parents, whom her legal guardian talks so little about.
Companion Name: Sage Species: Drake Gender: Female Age: 19 Physical Description: Awfully big and rideable to Cadmar, bright brown and gray feathers, to Cadmar's liking. Her wings maintain to be folded, because neither Cadmar nor Sage likes flying. Personality (especially if sapient): Completes Cadmar's. Is able to keep Cadmar in check, to stop her obsessions if it went too far. Although, she likes to be alone most of the time, and Cadmar is a part of her, so being alone means being with Cadmar. Abilities (if notable): She uses her wings as a weapon. It can fling blades (one of Cadmar's weaponry inventions for Sage) and flap big gusts of wind. Backstory† (if different from Rider’s): Born from a mother that's kept by a Falkrion, though once the mother died the Falkrion wanted no more drakes, so she ran away to meet a 22-year-old Cadmar, who had just decided to become a rider.
Giddy picks up on his restlessness, and is quick to try and ease it back down. "Wonderful, chap. I'd hate to break the routine."

Giddy shifts uncomfortably, afraid of what he may have just stirred up.

I guess that's it. I hope it's not too late...
Welcome! I hope I can make your first RP experience a fun one! It's not too late, though it may be a couple days before I can work you in.
There are a couple things I need to tweak in your profile to make it fit in the established canon. First, I want your characters to be from the western side of the continent, specifically a dwarven kingdom called Svardelheim, since that is where you can find dwarves, Falkrions, and drakes all living close enough together to make this work. Second, I do have a complete list of all the Riders that have been at Paladeen up to the point of the RP, and unfortunately none of them would quite work as Cadmar's parents (no female Falkrions, and only one male dwarf, who would be too old and lives in the wrong area). This doesn't mean they couldn't have been riders, just not Riders.

OOC: Okay, I'll wait around.
OOC: Thanks. It'll just be a couple days, probably. If Winn doesn't say anything soon, I'll move on without him (he hasn't been on LMBE since the RP started up).

Oh, okay, I can make a few tweaks too. I wasn't so sure on the mother being a Falkrion, so that can be changed. Maybe Cadmar lives in a place where dwarves and drakes lives close together, and pay no mind to the Falkrions? Maybe Sage was born from a dwarve's drake, not a Falkrion? Hope this works! Though, if I can, I would choose a place where another species is close there, say, maybe elves or humans.

Falkrion would be a little unlikely. I'll keep her in Svardelheim, so perhaps Sage's owner or Cadmar's mother (preferably the latter, due to political situations) is a human from the neighboring nation of Alganerian.
