OOC: He's been on often enough that I figured he could probably contribute to this RP, given the relaxed pace I want for it. I'm sure he will be, whenever he finds time.
OOC: Yeah, he's been RPing with us for a long time now, hasn't he?
OOC: He certainly has. I've known him longer than almost anyone on LMBE.
If you want to keep talking, we should move to a different topic.
Oh, okay, I can make a few tweaks too. I wasn't so sure on the mother being a Falkrion, so that can be changed. Maybe Cadmar lives in a place where dwarves and drakes lives close together, and pay no mind to the Falkrions? Maybe Sage was born from a dwarve's drake, not a Falkrion? Hope this works! Though, if I can, I would choose a place where another species is close there, say, maybe elves or humans.
Falkrion would be a little unlikely. I'll keep her in Svardelheim, so perhaps Sage's owner or Cadmar's mother (preferably the latter, due to political situations) is a human from the neighboring nation of Alganerian.
Okay then! Though Cadmar's mother is still a mystery to her in the RP

OOC: Since we haven't heard from Winn in a while, I'm going to go ahead and advance the story.
IC: Dernis, Aretgarlja, Basa, Heren, Giddy, Finn, Azar, and Callusthe arrive at Practice Field A, where Zariana is waiting for them. She is a short woman, rather slight of build but muscular, with chalk white skin and red eyes. Her hair has almost as much silver as it does black, and there are fine wrinkles around her eyes and mouth and on her forehead. For all that she does not appear formidable, however, Dernis, Basa, Giddy, and Azar all know that she could take any of them in a fight, even without the use of her Vampyre abilities. "Listen up, Riders!" she shouts, her voice clear and sharp, "We're going to start today with some duels, one-on-one. Dernis, you're with Basa, Giddy, you're with Azar. Aretgarlja, Heren, Finn, the three of you can rotate, Heren and Finn first. Begin!"

Giddy practically prances up to Azar. "Heyo, we get to fight? Neat, right? Anyways, I'm not much good, so this'll mainly be a warm-up for you, but hey, I'll give it my best!"

OOC: Whatever you want. You can use your character's normal weapons, or you can take something from the weapons rack (nothing special there, but it will have any standard weapon used by the Riders).
OoC: I wasn't sure when you didn't mention him in the intro, but at this moment, I'll say Robin followed him inside.
"Er, umm..." He chuckles awkwardly, running a hand through his mop of sandy blond hair. "...Does a wolf count?" he asks sheepishly.
(OoC: Just to warn you, I may not be active for a couple of days, what with flying and then recovering from jet-lag. Sorry!)
OOC: Yeah, that's my fault. I forgot about him when I was writing it.
IC: "Only if he's a direwolf," he says with a smile. "And," he adds, peering down at Robin, "It appears he is not. Well, that's all right. I can talk to some friends, see if we can't find something for you. In the meantime, though, we can perhaps let you train a little with the proper Riders. They'll be just starting for the day, over in Practice Field A, so if you run you may be able to catch them."
OOC: No worries. I've been moving this chain along a little faster than I would normally, only because I want to get as far as possible before I go out of town later in July.
OoC: Quite all right. ^-^
IC: Robin, sensing the humans are discussing him, flicks his ears inquisitively. Meanwhile Azril--at the new prospect of trading with proper Riders--gulps nervously. "You mean-- right now?" he stammers. "Like. . . now?"

OoC: Makes sense. Good plan.
He smiles. "Right now. And if you see my daughter, tell her she is welcome to join as well." He begins ushering Azril out of the office, but stops. "Oh, one more thing. What's your name?"

"Azril, sir," he replies. "Azril Betynsohn."
He takes a long breath. "I thought I saw a resemblance. How's your father doing, these days?"
Giddy practically prances up to Azar. "Heyo, we get to fight? Neat, right? Anyways, I'm not much good, so this'll mainly be a warm-up for you, but hey, I'll give it my best!"

OOC: Got it, thanks. Guess I'll wait on Neko to reply for another day or two.

OOC: Yep. I'm going to try to get all of you to a point where you only need to interact with each other for a little while, so you can maybe make a little progress while I'm out of town.
He takes a long breath. "I thought I saw a resemblance. How's your father doing, these days?"
Azril's expression shifts uncomfortably. "Oh. Umm. . . he died last year. Sorry," he mumbles, finding his shoes suddenly quite fascinating to stare at.

"I'm sorry to hear that," Hithrol says somberly. "He was a good man. Saved my life, you know. Go on now, son. We'll talk a little more later."
