Maicyn nods. "Here you are. Are we everything you imagined?"
"Well. . ." Azril's brown-eyed gaze roves over the settings, taking in the towers, the grassy training area, and the fellow Riders. "No, but that's a good thing. It's better."
Maicyn snorts. "My dad will love that one."
OOC: So, we should probably talk about what's next for this RP. Obviously, since you're the only currently active member, the adventure I had originally planned won't work (it would have been about Prince Oruss, the son of Queen Legolie of the Dragon Kingdom and King Percy of the Lion Kingdom, the man who is destined to unite the two). Instead, Azril could go with Maicyn as she sets out to find Therin, an adventure that would otherwise have happened off screen. Or, we just let the RP end. It's up to you.

He casts her a curious look. "You don't seem to be a very big fan of it."
OoC: Gotcha. I like the idea of continuing the adventure with Azril and Maicyn, and I think I should be able to continue being active for it. I'd like to continue it, if you want to. ^.^

"I've lived with the Riders my whole life, Azril. Not everything here is as perfect as you think."
OOC: Great! Just so you know, this will not be a short adventure. I planned for Maicyn to be gone for one to two years. It will be fun, though. I've started planning it out, and I'm going to include appearances from a bunch of characters.

"What do you mean?" he frowns.
OoC: Oh, I am so in.
Maicyn sighs. "This life takes a toll on them. They lose people. Sometimes they don't survive a mission. Sometimes they do things they regret for the sake of the mission. That's what happened to my aunt. They think just because I'm a kid I don't understand this stuff. They're wrong."

OOC: Ooh, I'm excited.
"Oh. . ." He falls quiet.
OoC: So am I.
Before either of them can say anything else, the white-skinned woman walks over. A rather short woman dressed in dark quilted armor, her black hair is streaked with silver and her eyes are red. She kneels down in front of Azril. "I saw you take a hit to the head a few minutes ago. Are you all right?"

"Oh, yes, I'm fine," he replies, trying to ignore the faint throbbing.

"As long as you're sure. We have healers on the premises if you need one."
OOC: Zariana was not on the mission to Azril's home continent, by the way.
"Azril Betynson, ma'am."
OoC: Got it.
"Betynson? That sounds familiar." Azril looks to his left to see a young man a couple years older than him and Maicyn. He is dressed in light armor and carries a sword and a shield at his side. Looking at his face, Azril sees a striking resemblance to Hithrol Jiwovz, though this newcomer's is a deeper shade of brown. Dark, shaggy hair hangs almost to his eyes and there is a friendly smile on his face.
