Jadyn stepped back, not in the condition to fight them both. Haiki rose from the ground and the three of them teamed up on him. Max and Haiki with matching slight smirks and Omincron with a psychopath's smile. They backed him into the far wall and all three prepared to strike. He tried fending all three off at once as long as he could, but he was outnumbered and exhausted. They started to actually get hits in on their target, making him weaker with each blow. It was when a wet liquid started to run from his mouth that Haiki signaled the other two to stop. Jadyn collapsed against the wall. He touched the liquid with his hand and looked at it, it was redder then the red on his gi. "That's all I wanted to see." Said Haiki wiping some of of it off Jadyn's face and studying it grinning. The pack all went their separate ways in the den now that the show was over. Some lingered behind chatting with each other or looking down at Jadyn from a distance. Jadyn felt light headed and his vision started to cloud over. He pleaded with himself. Stay awake, stay awake...
"You led her right to the den..." Most of the wolf warriors now glared at him. Omincron was pouting, Jet stood like a wraith in the shadow of the den, and the pack member who Jadyn thought he heard someone call Rose just looked tired. After a moment of silence Haiki nodded to Max saying. "I'll deal with him accordingly." They all went back into the den and walked through the garage area. Jet went straight to organizing his smithing and welding tools while everyone else continued into the main room of the den. Haiki stood in the middle of the room and most of the pack members who had been outside gathered around on the edges. Jadyn noticed that these were mostly the younger warriors. Students, pack rank and wolf rank alike. Then Haiki got into a stance and put his head up, coffing his hands over his mouth he made a loud howl. "The challenger's cry." mumered many of the wolf warriors. Then a twin call sounded from the side of the room that they had all come in. Omincron stood there in the same position as Haiki. Haiki pointed at Jadyn, and Omincron pointed at Max. All the warriors in the room started to cheer and howl in inhuman eerie unison. It shook the air around him and he really did feel like a fox among wolves.
{JAMMERS! -Tigress- ONLY!} It's not really a reference. It's more me really liking that name and using it on two different characters with different spelling. XD Also this character came first.

Jadyn felt a cold wet cloth on his forehead and jolted awake. He was still up against the wall where the warriors had left him. Calvin was knelt down next to him holding the wet cloth to his face. "I figured they would have a go at you sooner or later, it was only a matter of time." Jadyn wanted to reply, but he just couldn't manage it in the moment. Calvin continued. "Never seen a team up like that before, usually challenges are civil way to work out disagreements among members in the pack. You can only challenge someone your own rank or under though, so don't get any ideas." Jadyn swallowed the bad tasting liquid in his mouth and winced in pain as he finally began to feel his injuries. "Why, are you helping me?" He finally managed to say. "Er, from one outcast to another I guess. Besides, Master wants you alive for now." Calvin's crutches were leaned up against the wall nearby. For the first time Jadyn noticed how strikingly similar Calvin was in appearance to Zechariah. The same shade of brown hair and similar facial features. Are they related? Wondered Jadyn. "Outcast?" Jadyn asked deciding to avoid the hairtage question for now. Calvin handed Jadyn the cloth and had him hold it there himself. He then replied shrugging. "I don't exactly have a lot of friends around here, kinda hard to get along with everyone when you've been stuck on the same rank longer than most and everyone thinks your mother doesn't belive in the pack anymore." Jadyn took the wet cloth off his forehead and ran it through his hair as he said. "What are you talking about? Isn't everyone here your friend? You all stand for the same thing." "Ally, I have lots of allies, but not friends. There's a big difference." "Right, I get it,"repiled Jadyn. Calvin pointed to a spot on his own face by his mouth as he said. "You might want to clean up right there." Jadyn rubbed the cloth on his face. "Rub a little harder," said Calvin. Jadyn did as he told him. "There, you got it." Calvin stood up and grabbed his crutches. "Thanks man," said Jadyn.

"Can you stand?" Asked Calvin. "Yeah I think so... " Using the wall to support himself Jadyn carefully stood. He clutched his head at the sudden blood rush. "Has anyone ever told you you look a lot like Zechariah?" Muttered Jadyn. "Yeah, makes sense considering we're cousins. Although I only recently found out about him..." Repiled Calvin frowning. "Cousins?" Asked Jadyn. "Our mothers are sisters." Calvin repiled. Jadyn looked him in the eye. "Do want to meet him?" Calvin looked taken it back. "Can I?" He asked. "I don't see why not," said Jadyn. "Alright... But quickly," said Calvin. The two of them made their way as quickly as someone on crutches and someone who just got beat up could to the next level and through the hallways. They passed by several warriors, some younger, some older, some Student rank and others of of higher ranks. They got some glares and cerious looks from most of them. Calvin walked in a way that made it seem like he wasn't traveling with the fire ninja, but that didn't seem to convince the onlookers. Finally they made it to Zechariah's door. Before they could enter though someone approached them from the opposite hallway. She wore a black-gray pack uniform with soft pink on it, her hair was long, curly and red and she carried herself with confidence. "Rrose... " Calvin acknowledged. "Hey Cal, fancy seeing you up here where the higher ranks reside, and with the master of fire of all people? I can't help but wonder why." "Leave us alone Rose, " said Calvin darkly. "Oh, what's wrong Cal? Your girlfriend not here to chase me off?" She walked up to Jadyn and studied him closely. He glared at her hoping she wouldn't dare get any closer. "Hm interesting." She said as she slipped back into the shadows of the hallway and disappeared from sight. "Let's go before anyone else shows up." Said Calvin. Jadyn opened the door and the two of them went inside.

They closed the door behind them and they both breathed a sigh of relief. Zechariah was in his wheelchair starring out the window, there was a glint of sadness in his eyes and a grim look on his face. His face changed at the sight Jadyn and Calvin as he questioningly looked at Calvin. He turned to Jadyn as if silently asking the meaning of this. "Zechariah, this is Calvin, your cousin." Explained Jadyn gesturing to Calvin who looked uneasy. "You are Accalia's son?" Zechariah asked Calvin. He nodded and repiled, "Yes." "Ah, I think I may have heard of you then." Said Zechariah. "There was a rumor that she had had a child and kept him isolated from the pack. It was also said to be part of the reason she left the pack, which was a few years before I left as well. Alpha find you or did your mother have you join?" "Well..." said Calvin hesitating. "My mother didn't like the idea of me joining the pack. But she did teach me the pack's values, beliefs and history from a young age. About a year ago Alpha came asking me to join. It was really my friend who talked me into it. She was so excited and wanted to join so badly. We could help the world, regain the pack's honor, everything. She only has limited knowledge though, and even my mother didn't tell me everything. So we joined the pack very much like the other outsiders they were bringing in." Calvin glanced at Jadyn. "I knew something most students don't know t right away though. The pack puts much value in bloodline. So those we choose to ask to join are usually tested somehow. There are ways to find out if a human has more or less wolf blood in them. Of course there are many in Ninjago that have even just a small fraction of it. I have much wolf blood, yet I'm still at student rank. This makes me come off as very weak to rest of the pack, and even more so after I was injured." Calvin grinned halfheartedly. "I guess you could say I'm a omega wolf right now." "You could say that about all of us right now," repiled Zechariah.
*snip* Before they could enter though someone approached them from the opposite hallway. She wore a black-gray pack uniform with soft pink on it, her hair was long, curly and red and she carried herself with confidence. "Rrose... " Calvin acknowledged. "Don't get me wrong though. I still believe what the pack is doing is right. Even though it may seem harsh right now. It's all for a better future." Calvin added hastily. "I used to say the same thing," said Zechariah. "Until my moral standards were put to test..." "What do you mean?" asked Calvin. Zechariah answered. "There comes a time when you must ask yourself the questions that eventually define your actions. What would you be willing to end a life for? Who gets to say who's in the wrong? Is it right to punish someone for something their ancestors did or didn't do? Questions like those. When I was faced with those questions I found answers. I didn't like some of those answers at first, they did not go along with what I had previously thought. But eventually I learned, that doing the right thing isn't always the most easy or good feeling thing." "Exactly, so why didn't you stay with the pack?" Said Calvin. "Because I learned the pack, my family, and I, was wrong." Zechariah repiled. "Then why aren't you trying to convince me of the same view as you?" Calvin questioned. "I don't think you will listen to me, these might be things you are going to have to find out on your own, the hard way I'm afraid..." To this Calvin didn't reply. The three of them were silent for a moment. Jadyn realized he should probably tell Zechariah that Zephyr had found the location of the den. But he didn't want Calvin to know him and Zechariah were exchanging information actively. He might report it to Alpha and anything could happen. "Well, I better be going," said Calvin adjusting his crutches and making his way over to the door. Jadyn followed. "It was nice to finally meet you," said Zechariah.
Zephyr rushed through the forest, tripping and slipping in the wet leaves and mud as she carelessly ran. She had looked back the moment she felt she was out of sight and ear shot. She had seen Jadyn be spared just before they went into den and out of sight. She had been tempted to go into the den, but something made her hold back. She needed Sensei Lloyd's guidance. She found her four wheeler by the tree she had stopped it in front of. She cleared her throat and turned on the communication device. "I found Jadyn, and the pack, and their den." Sensei's voice anwsered her. "Where are you? Is Jadyn there?" "I'm in the forest not far from the den. Jadyn is still with the pack, he seems free, but he refused to come with me. And then the pack came out--, I was forced to leave." Repiled Zephyr trying to control herself. "Strange. Stay where you are if you can. We will all meet at your location as soon as possible." Said Sensei Lloyd. "Yes Sensei..." Said Zephyr as she ended the call.
Jadyn and Calvin exited Zechariah's room. Calvin slid the door shut with his crutch. "Its hard to believe he's Master's son. They are nothing alike. Its easy to see how he would leave the pack though. No wonder Master doesn't trust me. I look like the son who betrayed him." It was hard for Jadyn to believe that Zechariah was Alpha's son too. Especially since that meant that Alpha was Zephyr's grandfather. The connection was still daunting. Dispite the fact he was her grandfather though, after seeing what Alpha had done to Zechariah he would never let Zephyr be left at his mercy. "Doesn't that also make Zephyr your second cousin?" Asked Jadyn. "I guess so." said Calvin looking at his feet. He then looked back up at Jadyn. "Are you two close?" All the time he and Zephyr had spent together over the past few months flashed through his mind. He grinned slightly. "Close enough."
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Calvin smirking. "I mean we're really good friends." said Jadyn. "Nothing more?" asked Calvin mischievously. Jadyn felt his face grow warm. He decided to turn the conversation around. "What did Rose mean when she mentioned your girlfriend, who's she?" Recognition crossed Calvin's face. "Oh, she was talking about Azalea. She's not my girlfriend, but me and her have been friends for a long time. My mother and father actually took her in when we found her by the riverside when she was young, she had no memory of where she had come from and was badly hurt. By the time she was back to health she didn't want to leave us, so we never looked for her real family. So we pretty much grew up together. I've never seen her as sister though. She's had a crush on me forever and I've known for awhile." "So do you like her back or is it just a one sided thing?" asked Jadyn cerious as to how he could be so chill about talking about this. "Yeah I do. We've just never talked about it." "Alright then... I'm not judging you." said Jadyn. " Well it was interesting meeting Zechariah. But I best be going. See you around I suppose." said Calvin starting to walk away with his crutches. "Yeah, see ya." said Jadyn as he disappeared down the hall.
Azalea couldn't wait for lunch hour. Alfida had been telling her as much as she could little by little every meal time since Azalea had met her. What she had been told so far was this: Alfida and a small gang of pack members had infaltated into Borg Tower several years ago. They had been caught by the high security and sent to kryiptarum prison for going after the tracking device, which was considered very dangerous in the wrong hands. Alfida and the warriors had spent much more time then they deserved, but Alfida had made Alpha promise not to break her out if she got caught to protect the secrctcy of the pack. However it seemed someone did want them out. Because a criminal assassin who was called Retriever was apparently going to break them out. Which was good timing since Alfida could sense the time of the prophecy was near. This was all Alfida had told her so far. Meal times were short and Alfida didn't want any guards overhearing, so each time she kept it aggravatingly brief. Azalea tensed as she felt the time growing nearer. She clutched the bars and glared at everything and everyone outside of her cell. Finally the door slide open automatically and she and the other inmates in her lunch group made their way to the lunch line and then to the tables.
She caught sight of Alfida, the pack members she had been imprisoned with gathered around her along with some inmates who they let into the fold. Azalea joined them. As they made their way to their table she looked on with satisfaction as the other inmates who weren't apart of their mini pack kept their distance and glanced warily at them. Anyone who crossed paths with them soon regretted it, although silent for the most part they had made it clear that they were all one force that were above the other inmates. A man with black hair and a rough tired expression joined them as well as they all took their seats. Retreiver... Azalea realized. Alfida looked at Retriever expectly. "Well, what is your plan? You said you would have one by now." "And I have one, don't you worry, I know how to do my job. I'm getting paid a lot for this." Repiled Retriever unfazed by Alfida's obvious inpatients. One of the other inmates at the table spoke. "You realize that the prison security are probably listening though." "Doesn't matter. Because for this plan to work I'm the only one who needs to know the whole thing. The rest of you just need to do exactly as I say." Repiled Retriever coldly. "What do we need to do?" Asked Azalea eagerly. "You may have heard about the fact the they uninstalled the feature to unlock the entire prison in case of an emergency. Deciding instead it would just be better to let those inside Kryiptarum to parish. Well... What if I told you I was the one to uninstall it? And that there's actually a easy way to reinstall it."
