So I just came back after many months (got too lazy to post here that time) and I decided lately to start a new thread, which is a crowd reports thread. Here, you may share your experience seeing a the latest movies in the theater.
Although it's 2019 already, I wanna start with a movie from last year.
Movie: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
Theater (optional): Somewhere here in the Philippines Date and Time: November 25, 2018, 12:30PM
Trailers/previews: Some ads (including a disaster preparedness ad and an ad about our movie rating system ), The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (teaser trailer; silence in the theater. Was honestly happy finally seeing it in the theater ), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (silence), Shazam! (silence), Aquaman (silence)
Assessment: Since it was already in its second week and because most people went to see Wreck-it Ralph 2 that time (which I did see later that night), there were only few people in the theater. I'm estimating about 30-50 of us were inside. The theater was still fine to me, although it was a bit too cold inside. For the most part, the audience was quiet, except for one part where everyone laughed ("Oh, so we're licking the ground now, huh?"). A couple behind me had a slight reaction as soon as the movie ended though, as that ending was a big surprise.
So what about you guys? Share your moviegoing experiences here!
So, um, this is awkward... I haven't really been to a movie theatre...
What's it like?
Hey there! Oh, that's fine. Not everyone gets to go to the movie theater anyway.
Well, the screen is big and you're with an audience to watch the movie (definitely, although there are cases where you might be the only one in the theater ). Idk how else to describe it but there you go. You can always look it up.

I was actually thinking of starting a movie chatroom recently, but I've been beaten to it.
Anyway, can we discuss movies that we didn't see in cinema? Because I recently watched the first 2 How to Train Your Dragon movies for the first time, and I really enjoyed them. Now I want to see The Hidden World in cinema.
Finally, I just noticed that you came back! Honestly, I wondered what had happened.

I'm really sorry. But hey, a movie chatroom sounds nice. This one's intended mostly for cinema experience of recent movies.
Perhaps we can do that in your chatroom. It's been a while since I've seen HTTYD2 (only saw it once in the theater and only saw parts of it again on TV). I'm planning to rewatch the two HTTYD movies in preparation for The Hidden World, which I plan to see with my friends next week.
Yup. Got too lazy to post here, which explains my long absence. Also, I was pretty busy with schoolwork and those stuff.
The last movie I watched was Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald. I loved that movie, but there was just so many plotholes!
(there was also only like twenty of us watching which was epic)
Yup, there were definitely so many plot holes. This is not a spoiler as it was reported already some time before its release but McGonagall's cameo really bothered me. Idk if Rowling is trying to retcon something but it messed up the timeline.

The thing that bothered me the most was Dumbledore's hairline.
