Music helps me CONcentrate. (A good one, too. ) His music doesn't have that effect on me.
I use colored pencils, I have a collection I've been refining for years. How about you?
I don't know how that helps. (Cool. )
I use coloured pencils too, from a standard set. And I just started colouring a couple of weeks ago. Have you worked on anything recently?
I dunno, really. It kind of helps me slip into a groove, and block out the rest of the world.
Colored pencils are the best. I just finished a custom minifigure series (my bros and I make them, it was our 19th). It CONtained David Balfour from "Kidnapped," Korg, Miek and Valkyrie from "Thor Ragnarok", Shuri from "Black Panther", A blacktron trooper, My 8th nerf warrior, and a bunch of other people from places you likely wouldn't get.
Oh I see. That's really cool! So do you do weapons and stuff more realistic to? ( considering that arrow looks pretty detailed. ) I try to make most of my weapons how they'd look in the show if I'm doing Ninjago, and with anything else I try to be as detailed as can but not detailed most of the time if that makes sense.
Thanks, the photo wasn't exactly great quality.
Yep, I pretty much make everything as real as possible, while still using a square torso and blocky legs. The weapons in Ninjago aren't entirely LEGO-looking, are they?
You're welcome! I don't usually care about photo quality unless it's my own photo. The legs on minifigs are so HARD, but I do them anyway. How about you? Do think it's easy or hard? Yeah, they look a bit more like real weapons.
Well most of them are villains and side characters from Gravitation, so that's why there's so many. Cool! You're welcome! I understand, my sister is a perfectionist too. I'll use almost anything, but mostly it's colored pencil, pen, makers, and sometimes crayons. ( and a lot of times a combination of the ones I mentioned. ) And I also use a digital paint app for digital drawings. What media do you plan to use/have been using?
And impressive all the same.
Thanks! Currently he's just a concept sitting on a dusty shelf in my mind somewhere, but perhaps he'll be official if I ever get into writing.
You have my condolences. We're hard to please at times, us perfectionists. Awesome! Which ones do you use the most, and have found brings about the best colour?
Well I've only just started out with s standard set of colouring pencils , but I plan to branch out if I can afford it, to find which gives a good, even colour job.
Thanks.
You're welcome! That's a good metaphor. Well I think you'd make a good writer if you tried.
I usually use colored pencils, they seem bring out the most realistic results. After that I probably use makers and pens the most, they bring out more color, but tend to look more cartoon like when I use them. That's why I Iike to do a mixture sometimes.

Or if it's a photo I'm trying to draw off of.
They're kind of essential. Yeah, they're probs the roughest thing to draw, so few possibilities for different standing postures, not too mention they're just plain weird. That's a common theme among the LEGO TV shows, cause Chima was the same way.

Well, everyone has their own way of focusing. Mine just requires total order and peace.
I guess..? When you have the full range of colours, too. Nice work! Custom Minifigs are great. (Honestly I only got like 2 of those characters. )

Thank you. Well, I'm actually writing a LMBE story at the moment, so I can say I tried at least.
Hey, that's cool idea! Gotta try that sometime, along with playing around in GIMP.
