I read this and Helios'es new post and I want to say one thing:
Stop.
I'm not sure about others but I for one don't care about your strange politics. Just because the staff have had a fallout does NOT mean that they need to PM it to everyone! What cause is this for? Gathering users on thier side? Shammrock just made several paragraphs just to say he is the head admin, which I do congratulate him on, is unnecessary. Helious pretty much said that Shammrock is terrible and that the LMBE is going to be shut down because of him, even saying that it was an important announcement! In the lastest stated PM, Helios even stated the "Untrustworthy" mods Usernames, which will just upset people! (It actually made me unhappy.) A Private message sent to all (or most) users should be to declare urgent announcements that all users NEED to know, not to delcare staff positions. If hiring mods becomes an issue then we shouldn't bring in more mods! (Which we don't need any more mods.) Also, if I made a mistake, I wouldn't want it broadcasted to every user who actually doesn't need to know about the situation!
Everyone on the LMBE just want to post and have fun, not be dragged into a political war! I know that a "War" hasn't started yet, but it shouldn't start in the first place. I should really have slept on the thought of posting this but if I wait then my voice might not be heard. Sorry if this sounded like an outburst, but I think this needs to be said.
Who somewhat agrees with me?
I have no idea what the message from Helios is. I didn't receive it. Regardless, I agree. A war is absolutely unneeded. I really don't want to see holes between all of us here. You said it.

I agree with what Helios said. Completely, in fact.
What did he say? Why didn't I get it? I'm getting CONfused.

. . . I have no idea what you're talking about. What message by Helios?
That so called 67% of users you gave is one of the most skewed statistics I've seen used by someone who doesn't understand how to perform proper statistics. There are around 454 accounts registered to the LMBE, so let's assume some are accidental duplicates or never have been used and eliminate 3% (~=14) accounts from the data base. Now with 440, let's assume that at least half of them are active, since from my own observations only around 100 users have been online within the past 24 hours averagely. I am including those that may not have signed in, given the large number of guests being around 300 every 24 hours, so half of the 440 is a fair assessment. Now at 220 users, let's assume a healthy number of users decided to comment on the administration changes, say 20%. Of which you only would have 44 users to base your 67% percentage from, which is far from representing this community. However, you didn't have 44 users in that topic, you didn't even have 22 (10%) different users in that topic expressing concern. I read that topic pretty frequently and you had less than 10 users, barely even 5% of active users and only 2% of the entire community.
And guess what? Of those few users that had concerns, they were ones who were either promised by you to become a Mod or someone now delayed in the possibility of becoming a Mod. They had no concern other than gaining power and being upset that it was taken away before they got the chance.
Of course. Did you know that 99% of statistics are made up on the spot?
Exactly, though... "Don't believe everything you read on the internet" - George Washington.
Twelve days ago, I used the executive power that you, the users of LMBEternal, voted to give me. I created a new program who users who had applied for moderator positions who I knew were good people, but had caused problems in the past. The idea of this initiative was to see how they behaved after being given staff positions, to see if they could comport themselves well and act as moderators, or if they could not. Due to the bias of several members of staff against one of the users who was to be part of this program, I dispensed with the optional consultation of the administrative team.
That same day, seven members of the staff, including the most active moderators (I won’t be revealing any names out of respect for their privacy) demanded that I step down and allow the program to be sped. I was informed that if I did not oblige, they would go in strike and bring moderation to a standstill. I had consulted them for almost all decisions, yet they decided that because I exercised the rights you gave me to make this decision, I had to go. I could not let LMBE come to harm, so I did as I was told. My power was dissolved among many.
However, I have now had time to think things over, do some research, and observe your reactions. I have seen that 67% of users who reacted to the changes in the announcement topic were concerned with these changes. In addition to this, I have discovered that the way in which the administrative account and power has been shared violates the Proboards Terms of Service, a legally binding agreement. Additionally, several people now in power have made questionable decisions in the past, and I either fired or was considering firing them. As well as this, I feel that a major change in administrative power such as this should require community consultation. It should not have been done without your approval. When I took over from Astro, I swore to put you, the community, first in decision-making for LMBE. I have decided, due to it violating the Terms of Service, the disapproval expressed by the users, my concerns about several staff members, and the fact that a staff majority should not have had the authority to overrule the community vote that put me in office, I feel it is in the best interests of LMBE for me to return to power.
I will be allowing the staff behind the coup to remain on the team, but I do not know if they will accept, or if they will threaten to go on strike again. I hope they will not, and if they do I will attempt to bring in new moderators as fast as possible. However, if moderation does slow down for a few days, this will be why.
I have not made this decision lightly, but I am concerned for the direction in which LMBE will go in if I do not do this. I hope you understand that this is the only decision I feel is open to me. I have not made it out of a desire for power, but out of concern for the community.
Well, there you have it. This is my official statement on the matter, and explanation as to why I am Head of Administration once more.
If you any questions, general or related to this message, do not hesitate to ask me.
Thank you,
Shamrock7203
Head Administrator
LMB Eternal
Note: This has been sent out as a PM, but I am posting it here so that it's easier to locate.
Lets hope doomsday should not be an option here.
Doomsday here will only come if the rest of the staff decide to wreak war against Shamrock.

Helios sent an illegal PM to everyone who didn't like several people being Admins to try and convince them that Shamrock is terrible.

I agree. Can't the staff just get along?
It's a bit harder than that honestly. Users aren't getting the full story from anything you've read (that includes sham's post) so if I was a user I'd honestly just ignore it all. I disagree with the idea of the community being dragged into this but sadly some staff seem to think that's necessary. If I were you guys and girls I'd just carry on posting, this stuff will sort itself with time.

Are you telling me ignore the fate of the whole boards? Well, it's quite too noticeable to ignore.

The whole of staff wishes it was as simple a question and answer as that.
