Are you trying to criticise the rules that we have always operated by and always will? This is not a case of “just because you can doesn’t mean you should”. It is a case of “you can and should”.
No, I'm saying the purpose for having the rule is being twisted for personal gain. Yes, you have the ability and "legal" right to do so, but I'm just trying to ask you to keep with the "original intent" for the rule. If you absolutely do not want to be a little gracious, merciful, or lenient with your RPers, that's your business and I will stop pestering you about this. I was just trying to reason with you to stay true to the intent of the rule. That's all.
“I'm saying the purpose for having the rule is being twisted for personal gain.”
You still think this is about Batman? Seriously?
The original intent is to prevent inactive users from keeping characters for them selves. I am staying true to that. Z-whales did not respond in time. He could just go and reclaim his characters, and be somewhat sad about Batman.

Is that supposed to be insulting? This isn’t about “mercy”. This is about the rules, set up by SHaRP, and enforced by the RCC. I am enforcing the rules as they always have been.
I regret to inform you that the roll call began on March 1st, and was called by Torahvision. He didn’t tag anyone, so I went to the latest roster in the PA and tagged all members on it. Then I realised that the list was incomplete, so I rectified the issue.
Blame Torah.
Yeah, but I didn't get tagged until the day after, so it hadn't been a week since I was called.
Lol, yes my mistake. But if Z got tagged a day late, that is when the rolecall starts for him.
And why should he receive such special treatment? The rules are the same for everyone. The roll call begins for everybody. It then ends for everybody.
I'm not talking about "special treatment." I'm just saying that this is a lego forum that isn't necessarily supposed to be super-strict. RPs are designed for fun.

No. But you did jump on it pretty quick.
That *is* the way the rules are written, I guess.
No. I mean, I'm sure you could turn it into an insult if you read-into what I'm saying. All in all, very well. Z-whales loses Batman.
I'm here! However, for some reason my computer is experiencing some technical difficulties with the LMBEs, it's all messed up, so I may not posting as often as I'd like.
Who do you vote for?
You, m'dude (was anyone else even running? ) By the way, I haven't gone on the LMBEs in the last week so I haven't an inkling of what may comprise the new 10 pages in this thread that I really don't wanna read. If there's anything I need to know, I'd appreciate if I could just be given a heads-up. I'll try and be more aware from now on.

Hello there I'm gonna hafta go with Ciar on this one. If Z can't get Bruce, he can get Terry, Thomas, Damian, or even the one from Justice League 3000 if he so desires. Not to mention many members of the Bat-family.

Because I wanted him. But my desires do not impare my judgement, no matter how much you want it to be so.

General Kenobi This is not about Batman. It never has been. This is about Z not responding in time to the roll call.
Z-Whales We at the RCC apologise concerning the loss of your characters and the misunderstanding that has arisen from it. At this moment, we are not willing to offer you any of said characters that may have been lost or taken in this process. However, as stated on other occasions, there are other similar characters which are available for claiming, including that of alternate universe variations of said characters (approved by the RCC). Once again, we apologise.
On to further business, I propose to the RCC that a clarification of the rules be made concerning the roll call: 1. That the one week period for people to respond begins at the time of the post in which they are tagged. 2. Following the conclusion of the roll call, there is a 24-hour period before ownership of characters is revoked so that those on differing time zones have time to confirm their presence.

And about my asking Ciar to give Z-whales a 2nd chance which is evidently not going to happen.
I think the matter is settled. I would appreciate it if that next time I bring something up, you do not accuse me of personally attacking you because that was never my intention. And, for clarification, I never said they weren't the rules or that you were "legally" wrong.
