So, ninjagofanmam , since your season ended on a cliffhanger, does that mean that you have an idea for another season?
LordTigress , do you have any new ideas for your own season?
The J , you haven't posted anything here for a long time. Are you done with this thread?
Also, maybe a season about the ninja exploring the Dark Island would be nice. We could get a variety of corrupted villains with that.
Well I've just had an idea for villains: cursed fusion-masters.
Explanation: They'd be humans who got their boats/ships/vehicles crashed into some place filled with evil energy (maybe the Dark Island), and instead of getting smashed, they got cursed; their bodies were fused together with the plants and spiky rocks from wherever they crashed, giving them monstrous forms.
Minifigures: Since they'd each have different rocks and plants fused with them in different ways, no two villains from the wave would look the same. For example, one would be a big-fig with a Venus fly trap for a hand, his axe fused with his other hand, and rocky, bulky legs. Another villain would have that ghost/djinn tail piece, but it would have new plant printing to make it look like his legs were turned into a plant-tail, and he'd have sharp, black, dagger-like rocks attached to each arm. The villains would maybe have samurai helmets made of rocks, with vines visibly growing throughout them. The color scheme for the minifigures would be black, brown and green; earth, rock, and plants. Although the plant and rock fusions would be seemingly permanent (unless the Ninja were able to "cure" the fusion-masters by the end of the season), they could also temporarily fuse themselves and their weapons with any inanimate objects, hence their title of fusion-masters.
Vehicles/sets: Their vehicles would also be fused with the magic environment after crashing into it, and would have the same color scheme as the characters. They'd have ships, smaller boats, wheeled jungle vehicles, and maybe even mechs. Each vehicle would be shaped in a totally different way (having been distorted and morphed into mobile pieces of earth with plants growing out of them).
Backstory: Remember those ninja soldiers in the background of the First Serpentine War who were dressed kind of like Ronin? I'm thinking that after the war, they were sent on an expedition to an uncharted, magic island (the Dark Island, or another) by Garmadon. Even with their vehicles, the soldiers were trapped on the island by the curse, until the events of Skybound, when Nadakhan ripped the island apart and into the sky, unknowingly allowing the fusion-masters to escape into the ocean. Jay's final wish wouldn't affect their escape, as their powers and literal connection with the realm itself would allow them to "stand the test of time" (just like Yang's temple).
Primary Antagonist: A writer of destiny from Cloud Kingdom. At some point, he'd become bitter and jealous of the beings from the other realms, who were able to live normal lives, choose their jobs, and fight (unlike him). His anger eventually drove him to write the idea into Garmadon's mind to send the soldiers to the island. Having implanted that idea in Garmadon, the evil destiny writer then rewrote the destinies of the soldiers on the expedition, cursing them into what they were. Many, many years later, he eventually figured out how to escape into Ninjago (through the mountain shortcut as seen in season 5). He'd have entered Ninjago during the events of Hands of Time (so this is a season 8 or 9 idea, I guess), only to discover that the humans he'd cursed and exiled had escaped from the island. Seeing this as an opportunity to conquer Ninjago, the evil writer revealed himself to the fusion-masters, told them that he cursed them, and told them that only he could turn them back to normal, but only if they worked for him. Therefore, the fusion-masters were forced to use their powers for him if they wanted to become normal humans again (so they'd definitely fit into the tragic villains category).
Secondary Antagonists: The generals of the fusion-master army would be revealed to be—plot twist—Cole's real parents! Cole's father, the original master of earth, and his mother, one of the ninja soldiers, had led the expedition to the island, only to be cursed into fusion-master forms. After their disappearance, baby Cole had been adopted by his singer dad (I forgot his name). Because of this, and because of the fact that the villains are earthen/rock/plantlike, Cole would be the main character of the season. This would make for an emotional story, and by the end of the season, Cole and the other ninja would figure out a way to break the curse and turn Cole's parents and the other fusion-masters back to normal.
Wow, I wrote a lot more on this post than I thought I would.😅
Is was? Oh yeah I guess it was. I don't know if it's finished or not, I thought it was, but that is kinda a bad spot to leave off isn't it? How can I tell her that I don't know were Skylor's mother is/was yet!? A lot of this I just come up with as I go along. I guess one more thing couldn't hurt. Thank you very much.
You're welcome very much.
What do you mean you don't know where Skylor's mother is?! After all that--! Use your imagination, woman!! She could be anywhere! She could be in the Dune Sea working for some crackpot evil scientist intent on destroying the world who's enslaved her! She could be spying on an army that's been in hiding for the past fifteen years in order to find out what they're up to! She could be captured by a psycho who wants her powers! She could have smashed and reincarnated as a warrior of Thunderclan and is living with the feral cat clans! She could have fallen into a portal created by Traveler's Tea that led her to Narnia! She could have been transformed into a sholoh--! Yeah, OK, now I'm just talking nonsense.

*freezes, stares up at you like a rabbit caught in car headlights*
Uh. . . .
Well, let's say that in the season one of the ninja--maybe Kai--are captured by the bakeneko/nekomata tribe, and one of the cats transforms themselves to look and talk like Kai, then returns to the ninja team pretending to be him. There could be a normal Kai mini-figure for this character, but while on one side has Kai's normal "scowl with scar" expression, on the other side is the face of a strange, slightly warped version of him snarling, baring spiky teeth, and his eyes glowing and in the shape of a feline's. If more than one protagonist character--the ninja or otherwise--are captured in the season, there could be several mini-figures like this. Alongside these there could be cat headpieces to go over the bakeneko as they shape-shift into one of their creepier forms, using pieces from the Chima theme. Of course, whenever the werecats are disguised as normal feral cats, there could be multiple cat figurines with different pelt and fur patterns. This could also be a good season to introduce unique weapons. The bakeneko could have attachments to their hands made of sharp, light steel that act as enormous claws that cause extreme damage, much like the pieces for the Wolverine mini-figures I've seen here and there. The werecats have two tails, so there could be a pair of rubber feline tails for each werecat character mini-figure. Perhaps Cyrus Borg could design new weapons and vehicles for the ninja that are made for fighting against the cats--the ninja could have their own versions of the steel claws and meet the cats equally in battle, and learn how to fight as the bakeneko and nekomata do. The cats could carry intricately designed swords and spears, with claw scratches etched onto the metal and wood like symbols, and the weapons could have claw-shaped hooks and curves to cause painful image to their victim when attacking. The vehicles could be made to run over steep, rocky terrain, such as mountains or pine forests, which would be where the enemy's territory would be. Perhaps sleek, agile motorcycles for racing through the trees speedily, and larger, sturdier mechs for getting up the treacherous mountainsides. This could also be a good opportunity to bring in new locations and buildings. Perhaps the bakeneko/nekomata creatures could have certain temples and altars where they honor their ancestors, which could be where a fight scene or two takes place in the season. This would give the Lego designers the chance to sell larger sets and design things such as rotting buildings and ancient monasteries. Not to mention, there could be instances when the enemy travel the vast mountain rivers or lakes to transport their prisoners, which could bring in one or two sets with sailing ships, several warrior cat mini-figures, and of course the ninja.
I'm not exactly sure if a wave like this would be fun or a little boring for the fans. The theme would be slightly old-fashioned; the enemy isn't as modern as the rest of Ninjago, and many of the situations and scenes would take place in lonesome, wild landscapes. Still, I think the mini-figures could be cool, at least--unless everyone here hates Chima so much they'd immediately reject the mere notion of cat-creatures with similar head pieces.
Goodness, once you get me talking, I won't stop for a while, will I?

*slow clap*
OK, see, what the writers of Ninjago need to do is hire the fans to think up ideas like this for the show. This is a great idea that could turn out to be an awesome season!
I think so, going to have to put a bit more thought into it though. I have a few ideas though.
*5 days later...*
Do you actually have an idea now? If not, you'll need more time to think about it.
Oh sorry about that, I've actually haven't been home a lot this week, along with chorse and that I've been trying to get caught up on my ninjago fan fiction as well and other posts on the galleries. So I actually haven't had a lot time to think of ideas, but I do think I have an idea for how the season starts and I think could build on that idea given a bit more time.

The galleries still exist? I haven't been able to find them on LEGO.Com.

That's because you can't get to them through Lego.com, you have to get them from searching online.
Ok I have an idea!!! ( and it's been forever, I know. ) I've got really good idea of what all I need to type up, however I do not have the time at the moment. ( But soon! Hopefully soon! )
Ok first I want to say huge apology for not getting the season idea posted. I had intended to type it up the next day. But of course something happened... There was the announcement of the main gallery possibly closing down. So I had to save everything I needed, finish some stuff up and some other things. Now I'm prepared for if and/or when it does end. So HOPEFULLY I'll get my idea on here soon.
