Yes we should! Right after seeing the movie I just whated to tear it apart and put it back together the right way! ( and still do. ) I'm thinking it would have been good for the movie if they had used the skeletons of the serpentine for villains.
( I'll do the last two episodes of the one season when I have the inspiration. )
*smacks ninjagofanmam upside the head with inspiration* There. You have inspiration.
I stood up till 1:00am writing the last two episodes and then I lost the page and now it's all gone and I have to start over... ( I was so close to being done, and those episodes were so long and perfect... I don't know if I'll be able to do it again the same... )

Oh, you poor thing! *hug* That's OK, it doesn't have to be a Newberry Award, just a brief review of what happens. Or you could just stop there. But then you'd leave me at a cliffhanger and I'd fall off.

Thanks, I'm still going to do it, I just need to get caught up on some other stuff on the galleries and stuff first and then I'll do it. ( shouldn't be too hard once I do since I already know what I need to write. )

I think I have an idea for an alternate version of Season 8. I'll probably add more in future posts, but this is my idea for now.
The villains would be a rival faction of ninja that has risen to full activity now that the ninja are disbanded. This faction of ninja was formed long ago by Sensei Yin, the creator of the Yin Blade. After Yin passed away, these villains have been seeking for the Oni Masks to revive him, but to no avail. Now that the ninja are disbanded, they are now becoming more successful in their hunt for the masks.
These warriors would consist of humans with high skill in martial arts. Their colors would be very diverse, with suits in purple, brown, or yellow. They would also have a little bit of a "motorcycle gang" touch with less futuristic and more modern vehicles. However, their vehicles would not only be motorcycles. Other vehicles would include cars, boats and helicopters.
I really need to expand upon this "rival ninja" idea later.
We already know that Ninjago is expected to last until 2019, and it could actually last longer. But even if it does end in 2019, we still have plenty of Ninjago sets on the way.
So what will Ninjago be like in the future?
Summer 2018 could feature an underwater theme, with mutated sea creatures advanced enough to build complex technology. Sets for the ninja could have a shipwrecked Destiny's Bounty, a submarine HQ driven by Nya, an underwater drilling vehicle for Cole, and more. The villains could also have a crab mech, wild mutant piranha's, a shark submarine, and other sea-themed villain sets.
Ninjago definitely still has plenty of seasons to give us, and even if it ends, a spin-off taking place in the far future could still be created. We still have loads of stories, artifacts and villains to see. Maybe the villains win their way by dividing the ninja? Only time will tell.
But with so much time left, it's worth thinking about what Ninjago could bring us in the future. So we need to get creative and discuss!

And you got this information how, exactly? Are you just joking? Are you going to contribute anything to this thread?
I saw leaked Images on a big Lego Youtuber's channel, I forget who.
How do you know any of this is real? We still don't have all of the Winter 2018 set images, so it's too early to have any images of the Summer or Fall 2018 sets. We should get back on topic now.

I like that idea! I'm just throwing this out but what if the rival ninja knew so sort of thing that's kinda like spinjitzu or airjitzu, expect it's different because it has a dark history of being used for evil in the past?
Skylor is forced by the villains to go into a cave alone to retrieve the last piece, and encounters tarps and obstacles along the way. As well as discovering it was her mother who hid the pieces. Meanwhile the ninja prepare for the worst, finding out that the weapon could be used to destroy anyone with elemental powers. They make a base near the dragon who was grading the second piece. Kai secretly leaves on his own to rescue Skylor.
Episode 7 An Unfair Trade
Opon finding out that Kai left on his own, the rest of the ninja call Ronin for backup, while they prepare for battle. Meanwhile Skylor finds the last piece along with what she believes to be a huge clue to her mother's disappearance: A cracked teapot that used to hold travelers tea. Once Skylor comes back out of the cave, Kai attacks the villains and the two of them fight them off and rush to escape. But just as they going to make their elemental dragons and fly off, the main villain tackles Kai and holds a sword to him. The villain says unless Skylor hands over the last piece, Kai will smash. Skylor reluctantly agrees and tosses them the piece. But they don't let Kai go, and instead push Skylor off the ledge of the small cliff they're on.
Episode 8 Cove Battle
Ronin arrives with some small ATVs and bikes. ( which the ninja are rather unimpressed with at first. But Ronin insists that the small size is for the better. ) Ronin also brings vengestone armor, saying that if it could stop the ninja's elemental powers, perhaps the weapon would respond to them the same way it does normal people. Later the ninja find Skylor washed up on the beach and give her armor as well. Meanwhile the villains lie to Kai, saying that they captured Nya and if he doesn't use his blacksmith skills to make the weapon she will smash. He believes them and does what he's told. ( the effects of the weapon don't effect him though, because of him wareing a vengestone chain. Back on the beach, the ninja and Skylor encounter some of the villains and a heated battle starts.
( I'll do the last two in another post)
( continued. It's been more then a week hasn't it? Sorry about that. Hopefully LordTigress didn't fall of any cliffhangers. )
Episode 9 End of the Line
The elemental masters arrive at the Spirit Coves and Ronin tells them not to continue. They don't listen to him however because they don't trust him. Meanwhile Kai finishes the weapon and just before they are about to test it on him the elemental masters arrive and crash the party. They escape to the beach were the ninja are fighting and join them, but the villains are close behind with the weapon. An even more so heated battle starts. But in the end one of the elemental masters smashes because of the weapon. Everyone then fully realizes what the weapon is capable of.
Episode 10 Night of the Spirit Dragon
As night falls, the ninja and elemental masters try and fall back and retreat as they realize they are out number. Meanwhile Skylor gets hint by the weapon and instead of smashing gets thrown out to sea. As she is drownding because of the armor she remembers her mother telling her stories of spirit dragons, a type of dragon that lives in the sea. Meanwhile the villains are able to keep the ninja and elemental masters from escaping. At what feels like the last moment, a huge glowing blue spirit dragon comes out of sea with Skylor riding on it. The dragon attacks the beach with blue firery blast. The ninja and elemental masters get to cover, but the villains aren't so fortunate. With the weapon, the main villain and a fraction of his followers gone, the last of the villains leave. The ninja and elemental masters then discover the real reason the spirit dragon came to the cove, many glowing blue dragons come out the sand and into the air. As this happens Skylor finds one final clue from her mother carved into a rock in the sand saying were the past master of amber went last...

I'm not being hostile, or else I would be banned by now. I'm just trying to say that it's too early for Summer or Fall 2018 set images.

Good idea, but I should scrap this Season 8 plot for something even better. For a long time, I was just trying to revive this thread so that we can discuss more ideas.
