"Now concentrate. Don't let your powers get too out of control, okay?" I was training Tamil, helping her control her powers and hopefully reverse (or make better) the time curses she'd cast on my fellow ninja. "Just...calm your mind. Trust your instincts ,but not to the point of losing control of them. Just...it's like parenting. Love and care for your powers, but teach them and discipline them, as to prevent them from getting out of hand."
"Okay."
"Now, try a time attack," I told her.
She nodded, stepping back and concentrating her hands. With a soft grunt, she let a time bubble forth. She hit me, and I could feel everything around me slow to the speed of molasses. Slowly ,I looked down, but brought a hand up and formed my fingers into a thumbs up. She sped me back up. "Now for reversal. I will try to attack you, and you try to prevent that from happening. Stop me, and get me back to where I started, got it?"
She nodded, and I ran at her, but I felt myself stop and run backwards in the same fashion, then stopped once again without being reversed any more. "Good. Stopping time should be similar. Now I'll come at you again. Try to stop me."
She nodded obediently, and I dashed at her with my sword. I felt as if time had stopped. Even my breathing felt frozen. She let me go again. I smiled. "Good!"
She smiled back. "Now I speed up time?"
"No. You already did. You're done for now. But I do want to tell you something."
"Yes?"
"Since you're not Acronix's anymore, we'd like to call you Hanna Julien again."
"Why?" She tilted her head.
"Because you're with us again. You deserve your old name," I replied.
"I don't think the last name 'Julien' makes sense anymore," Tamil told me with a sigh. "I don't feel like a Julien."
"We'll...work on it," I replied, sighing. "For now, you're just Hanna, Master of Time. Got it?"
She nodded.
"You're less stubborn than I thought you'd be," I added. "I really thought you'd rebel, just a little."
Hanna shook her head. "I'd rather reconnect with the people I'd been with for so long."
Over a few days, I performed minor time spells on the Ninja, gradually removing their curses. With Ninjago at peace, I had plenty of time to. The Ninja seemed grateful, despite not knowing. Although, just as a little joke, I returned Jay's accent, but subtly, so he wouldn't notice.
Well, that is, until he did.
It was one day, while we were talking over a meal, when his accent came out.
"So...you're adopted, Jay?" Kai asked. I guessed he had finally told them. "Why didn't you tell us?"
"Oh, yeah, my parents did tell me that, but only not that long ago." This next saying was when the emphasis was placed: "It's a...long story."
Kai snorted, and Jay looked around.
"Seriously? Why, Hanna? Why?" Jay laughed.
I giggled. "Who says a robot built by time-maniuplating tyrants can't have a sense of humor?"
Jay rubbed his forehead, trying to process the little act I'd done on his voice.
With more emotion in my voice than normal, I said, "Come on, Jay, it's just a prank!"
"Sometimes I wish you were the Master of Winter again."
I remembered smiling at Hanna that afternoon, about a month ago, and I realized why I had, seeing her face again. I remembered first meeting her, just after the Final Battle, on a mission, and when she looked at me, I smiled at her the same way. Thinking about it just made me smile again.
Jay smiled at me. "Hey Lloyd, thinking about her again?"
I snapped out of it. "Oh! Uh..."
"It's okay, Lloyd. Sometimes I think about Nya too." Jay put a hand on my shoulder. "We both have that girl we love."
"But unlike you, Jay, we haven't really gotten close enough," I replied. "Not yet."
"It took me a few years to get to Nya," Jay replied. "I almost destroyed a friendship trying to be with her. I'm just glad it's alright now."
I chuckled sadly. "Yeah. I wish you the best in your relationship."
"You okay?" Jay asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied. "But it's not like there's another one I like..."
"Oh! That's right!" Jay gasped. "You were looking at the princess!"
"Yeah..." I sighed. "If she finds out..."
"She's tough," Jay agreed. "She's powerful. She could do anything, even to a strong girl like Rumi, to stop her."
"Then I'll agree to not show one side or the other," Lloyd replied. "I don't want to see another rivalry, not after the last one..."
"Or when Cole and I were fighting over Nya," Jay agreed. "I still regret everything."
I sighed. "Yeah, or that." Feeling the pain in my arm left over from the fall, I winced.
"Are you okay?" Jay asked, his eyes widening a bit. "You still haven't recovered?"
"Not really, I guess. I mean, I thought I had..." I sighed. "Guess sometimes things don't heal as quickly."
"That was a bad fall from that elevator," Jay replied, before reaching for some gauze. "Do you need another sling?"
"Uh...that'd be nice, actually." I let him put my arm up. "Anyways, do you have any...advice?"
"You should ask Nya," Jay replied as he finished. "She would know. She's been in that 'two-people-one-heart' situation."
I nodded. "As long as I don't cause any feuds, right?"
Late at night, when I assumed everyone else was sleeping, I snuck out and into Ninjago City. Pulling the hood of my sweatshirt over my head and using my deep green turtleneck as a mask, I kept going until my feet hurt, and stopping to take a breather, I glanced up at my destination.
Borg Industries.
Cyrus Borg, the savant in charge of Ninjago's technology, had to know something about her. About Hanna. I knew I said I didn't remember her, but...I was lying. Not to break Jay and Zane's hearts, but to keep her safe. I began to climb the tower like a steep mountain, remembering Cole's training from a couple years ago. I was panting, sweat soaking my sweater, by the time I had gotten to a ledge outside the hundredth floor. I removed a katana from my belt, using it to cut the window open.
"Mr. Borg?" I muttered softly, slipping off the hood and pulling down the turtleneck to reveal my face.
"Lloyd?" Cyrus swiveled around to face me in his chair, his expression of mild surprise. "Is there something you need?"
"Yeah," I replied. "I just wanted to ask if you still have Dr. Julien's blueprints."
"Ah, the late Dr Julien...of course! Well, I will have to relocate where I put them...sorry, I may have misplaced them, hold on..." He wheeled around, trying to find what he was looking for. "You know, he and I were very good friends! We would exchange tips on invention...we were pen pals, actually, while he was imprisoned. He would talk about how much he missed Zane too. Ah, found it!" He handed me a folder that seemed thick with papers. "Take good care of it for me, okay?"
"Thanks," I replied, smiling softly at him. "I'll try my best."
He smiled back. "Good luck! With whatever you're doing!"
I chuckled a little and jumped out the hole I had cut in the window. Oh, the adrenaline rush, the wind in my hair and clothes as I fell free! And the pain when I hit...
But it felt like the thing I had hit was going up as I went down- I had hit an elevator! Wincing in pain, I struggled to pull open the hatch and crawl into it, falling onto the same side I'd injured, causing me to suppress a scream and bite my lip hard enough to feel pain and for a metallic taste to flood my mouth. I crawled to the wall and pressed the down button on the elevator, hoping it would take me to ground level. I braced myself, but the elevator kept going up.
"Come on, come on!" I kept pressing the button, -Lloyd-

Whatever I had landed on felt like it was going up as I went down. And that was when I realized what I had hit- an elevator! "Lloyd, why didn't you tell us you were sneaking out?" he asked irritably.
"That's the entire point of sneaking out," I replied, laughing a little.
"Oh," Jay replied. "Right. Then why did you sneak out in the first place?"
"To get these," I replied, holding up Julien's blueprints.

All of a sudden, the signal was lost, and before anyone could expect it, the elevator hit. I managed to evacuate Jay before it exploded, and I heard silence and saw darkness.
* * * “Jay, are you alright?” Lloyd asked as he reached out to touch my face.
“You can tell us,” Cole added. “We’re your best friends.”
“Is it because of what happened in the alleyway?” Tamil asked.
“No,” I replied. “I had a bad dream, is all. Nothing to worry about.” I sighed, pulling on my hood. “Guess we’re training?”
“No,” Cole replied. “You seem too distressed. Lloyd’s training Tamil.”
I took off my mask. “I’m...fine, Cole.”
“No, you’ve obviously got something wrong. Lloyd, get started. I have to talk to Jay.”
Lloyd went downstairs, and Cole and I sat down. He scooted closer, and looked at me like I was in trouble or something, intimidating me slightly. “Jay, tell me about your dream.”

Did the "Lloyd's training Tamil" mean that he was going to do so? Because if it's present, then I'm not sure how this works. . . .
