Depends. As a future mechanical engineer, quite a lot of it will apply to my future life. Sure, some stuff is completely irrelevant *cough* Literature *cough*, but I think I learned loads from my Business and Economics class. I can actually understand most of the financial news now

Please can we stop bashing public school and homeschool. Both have their pros and cons and will suit different people best. Remember that this is a public schoolers' chatroom - homeschoolers have their own chatroom. I'm not against a little mixing, but it's getting annoying.
