Well, the new Sonic Movie trailer...
doesn't look so bad. Green Hill looks beautiful. And character personalities are still a bit strange in some parts, but more on the mark. I also liked hearing the Green Hill theme, and I was surprised they referenced Sonic Boom. As for Tom what's his face, he's a bit better to. Now it reminds more of the situation with Chris in Sonic X, but a bit older. And of course, Sonic looks pretty good now.

Not bad, all in all.
Yes, I agree. This Sonic looks much much much better.
I haven't seen it, but I've seen reviews and the box office.
In answer to your question, Longclaw is an entirely original character, but might be a reference to the Sonic OVA (AKA the first Sonic movie, which I also haven't seen, but know about,) in which there was a character named Old Man Owl who appeared throughout the film.
I went back to play my childhood favourite Sonic game, Sonic Colours!
It’s not as good as I remember...
Just some strange design decisions, (Such as the unnecessary double jump, boost meter and drif modes), and weird level design. I wish they put more focus on the colour powers, maybe reduce the number of levels in favour of longer levels and tried to make each level memorable and diffrent from the last. Also, the bosses are terrible, the first one is over far to quickly!
Though no matter what, the opening cutscene is still one of my favourite throughout all video games I’ve ever played!
