the leading diplomat said:”we are willing to participate and strenghthen the united fleet, but we want a full scale offensive or at least the foundation of new bases.with only our head-city and our bases on the stormy seas we can barely defend our self, our forces on the moment aren’t strong enough to hold an attack on chima, and I doubt if your forces could hold a full-scale invasion”
Anastasia: "I see. We should build new bases on as many islands as possible. If you show us to your home islands, we could establish the quickest route between them and this region of the sea, so that we could ferry materials back and forth, and provide reinforcements to one another. As for holding off an invasion...I believe the Bats might be able to help with that."
“agreed, only one question left, will our headquarter be on the east or west side of the sea?,we need to give orders from close range, but we can’t risk a quick and destructive attack on our headquarters by staying too close to the frontline” OOC:which factions and characters are part of the federation yet?

Anastasia: "Maybe Aether Island would be best to that end; it's decently well-defended and there are a lot of bunkers built under the city here. Though we could always relocate the HQ to a different island, if the other members of the Federation want a more neutral location for it.
OOC: The People of Scordon Island who're led by Governess Seris Rax (a spider), the Saviorites here on Aether Island led by Governess Anastasia Gulikovsky (a gorilla), and the group on the Isle of Neutrality led by Lincoln, also including Leanna Luggington and her husband Lyrix (all lions). The former two groups are small multi-species factions, while Lincoln's is composed of mostly lions.
The northernmore coastline in South Chima, the land where the West Sea meets the Grassy Plains has long been a peaceful region. Minor skirnmishes have taken place in one war or another, but its peripheral location has shielded this area from major battles in the conflicts that regularly rage across Chima.
No more.
On the seashore, mayhem reigns. Sabretooth gunboats bombard towns and villages, pelting them with an icy barrage that freezes people where they stand and envelopes buildings with a thick layer of ice. Dense fogbanks lie over the water for miles in every direction, obscuring the movements of the Hunter ships. The mist regularly moves over the shore, hiding entire villages for days at a time. When the mist recedes, the towns stand empty, their buildings coated in ice. Their populations vanish, presumably taken as prisoners. The raiders do not move against the larger settlements with armed garrisons and defended walls, nor do they stray into the more southerly waters where tribal navies are anchored, but raid all along the edge of the Grassy Plains in small groups. They rely on their unnatural fog, and frequently the cover of night, to hide their comings and goings.
Above the water and on the shore, scouts from the Bat and Wolf tribes (the former always patrolling the known sea, and the latter having been sent out during Wol'jin's recent heavy militarization) each observe the frozen towns after the mist clears, and now return to their respective HQs to report about this.
Now, the combined Bat and Wolf force led by Commodore Brethil sails north in a tight formation, wearily searching for the elusive Ice Hunter fleet.
(OOC: I wonder, whats the status on the coastal outposts of the Forgotten? (New Little Edessa, Lighthouse Point, Westshore Point, etc.))
OOC: How large and well-defended are they? Most small settlements on the coast have been raided and frozen by the Sabretooth Fleet. Big towns or military bases have been left alone, though they might be surrounded by refugees trying to get away from the hunter ships.

(OOC: Since they are small settlements made from abandoned remains of older places left abandoned a long time ago. They only have a handful of people defending them, so they are haphazardly defended. They have small stockpiles of weapons to help in defense in a certain building in the sites. But if as long as Freeman or Vance aren't there, they can be easily overrun.)

The main body of the Sabretooth Fleet proves elusive as expected, but they soon sight a handful of patrol ships, apparently caught off guard. The Hunter ships turn north as soon as they notice Brethil's flotilla approaching. They don't have fast enough engines to outrun Brethil, but hope to rejoin the fleet in time to offer a more equal fight. Assuming the Bat and Wolf ships give chase, they soon see scattered icebergs and pieces of sea ice ahead, growing more and more frequent the further they go. Apparently the Hunters have brought the Arctic with them, their auras reducing the temperature enough for ice to form south of the border between the West Sea and the North Sea.
The fleeing Hunter ships coalesce into a group, the reasoning for which soon becomes clear. As the field of icebergs grows more dense, a wide channel opens in the middle of it. The Hunters appear to have sherperded the icebergs aside, effectively creating a road through the middle along which their ships can sail unimpeded. The Hunter ships fleeing along it visibly start preparing for battle, indicating they intend to swing around imminently - the Sabretooth Fleet must be gathered just a little way ahead.

OOC: Get more active on Minor Tribes HQ bruh.
IC: The Bat Fleet readies for battle; twelve bomber wing strikers are sent forth from one of the aircraft carriers, spreading out, flying high above and targeting, oddly, the icebergs. It seems they aim to reveal any concealed Sabertooth ships first and foremost.

{JAMMERS - ME - ONLY} On the south-western side of the field of icebergs, the majority of the Sabretooth Fleet is gathered. On the bridge of Argonville Remembers a number of senior officers are gathered around High Sea Lord Finnegan Senall, First Admiral of the Sabretooth Navy, Marshal of the Northern Ships, Protector of the Western Territories and Guardian of Fingir's Cove.
The gathered Hunters listen to an incoming radio message, encrypted in an ancient formula. After listening to the report, Finnegan turns to his subordinates.
"The enemy have fallen right into our trap. Raise anchor, and full speed ahead!"
The Sabretooth ships quickly begin moving east along the fringe of the sea-ice towards the corridor along which the Bat-Wolf ships are travelling north.
--------------------------------------- Meanwhile, to the north of the southern ships, fifteen Hunter ships are anchored. These are not the modern ships recently produced by the shipyards, nor older ships upgraded with modern engines and cannons. They are old wooden vessels more or less unchanged from how they were built centuries before. They are not up to much, but for this purpose they will do just fine.
Behind them, the supposed route from south to north abruptly turns into densely packed icebergs. From the south end of the route, it appears to be a clear passage bifurcating the field. In truth, however, the passage only runs about halfway through the field of icebergs. The area around it has been packed tightly with icebergs, over which Hunters have been climbing for days to add more ice, fusing many of them together into huge clumps of ice. Even with Fire Chi, blasting a path out of here would be time-consuming. The Bats and Wolves are sailing towards a dead end.
This "passage" through the field of icebergs has been built for one specific purpose, and it isn't to transport Sabretooth ships. In truth, the Hunter raiding parties have been coming around the iceberg field rather than through it.

Then again, I guess Egorsmirnov himself had retconned this when he came back.
OOC: I genuinly don't remember much from here. I checked the last time I even posted was over Three Years ago. Its nice, knowing people still remember me. And by the way I am more impressed that this roleplay has gone on for more than half a decade at this point
