A large flotilla sails down from the frozen waters of the Arctics, cannons and torches blazing with Fire Chi to keep the sea ice at bay. The royal standard of House Skelekar flutters in the wind upon every mast, annoucning King Crogar's return for all to sea as they sail into the warmer waters of the south.
The flotilla draws up nigh to the shores of the Crocodile Swamp. The King and Queen are carried to shore by helicroctor, whilst Lion's Bane lowers boarding ramps, allowing the expeditionary force to transfer onto several Croc Command Ships and sail upriver.
Once all passengers have dismebarked, most of the flotilla turns west and makes for Skelekar Base, though any close obersvers might notice a dozen submarines vanish into the murky waters about the river mouth, forming a hidden line of defence against naval attack.
Leanna Luggington, one of the many lions on this colony (as this group had originated from the workers' revolt at the Lion Pastures during the first Chima Civil War), walks up to the door of the loud tiger's quarters (the tents that the colonists were living in at the time Lyrix and Tristram had arrived have long since been expanded into real buildings), knocking roughly. Even if she wasn't pregnant at the time, the lioness would perhaps still have gotten quickly irritated by Tristram's roaring.
Leanna: "HEY! Tristram, is it? Would you kindly either quit your wailing, or use your CAVOR-ING WORDS to tell us what you need?!?! Some of us are trying to get some rest and relaxation, ESPECIALLY NOW for ME, you hear me?! It's Leanna; I TRUST you won't make me REGRET bringing your hide to the colony to give you a place to live, right?!"
-The Tiger snapped to attention and quickly opened the door for Leanna-
"Oh ho-ho~! Wh-what is it that you want?! M-me to quiet down?! PAH, that's just ridiculous! My people enjoyed how loud and proud i was, their renaissance wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for me!" -he'd chuckled before whimpering a bit, leaning over in woe-
"Oh... but... it's been a long time since i've been around my fellow Tigers... Is there any way i can get off this Island and head back East to my homeland...? It's a VERY long trek, but hopefully, one of my friends Titus or tinnitus or whatever-his-name-was will be happy that i came back!"

Leanna: "Ugh, it seems you're a better fit for the Tiger Tribe than here anyway. I'll get someone to ferry you back over to the mainland."
She goes to find a captain friend of hers, and he agrees to give Tristram a ride back to Chima.

"O-oh! Splendid! H-he looks quite the capable in transferring me across the sea! H-hope he'll end up doing it quick, i have some work to do!"
Lysandre: Me, hello dear, so is your project complete
Lusamine: Nearly
Lysandre: Ha, took you long enough, I privately fund, and I never face these kind of delays
Lusamine: We are well funded, from private donors, the aether fund, the Casablanche government and the navy
Guzma: Also, 55% of all science funding, and some funding from the army and secret police
Lysandre: Oh, gosh...
Guzma: Ay, its ya mate, Guzma.
Lysandre: I still cant believe your in charge of finance and you still say words like yo, your 56 man, grow up
Guzma: I'm a child at heart, also I don't say yo anymore. Anyways so this project is complete I am guessing, well I'm hoping it is, we just entered a war.
Lysandre: Well from my understanding yes, quite curious.
Guzma: So, power it up.
Lusamine: (Powers up the device)
Scolisopod: *Eyes open, water in its cryo-container goes down and it leaves the container*
Guzma: That's.... pretty cool.
Lusamine and Lysandre: *Look at the mech suit in shock and awe*
Guzma: So what can it do?
Lysandre: Super strong claws, hidden chi blasters, smoke grenades, aqua turbine, retractable flippers and much much more.
Lusamine: *Throws a Frisbee* Shoot it down.
Scoliscopod: *Shoots its down perfectly*
Lysandre: *Smiles*
Guzma: Hmm....
Lusamine: This on the screen is Captain Brakket, hunt him down will you?
Scoliscopod: It would be a pleasure, master. *Rolls up into a ball, rolls into the water and swims away*
Guzma: Why is she obedient to you?
Lusamine: I spoke a lot with her during the tests and cryosis.
OOC: This might be too early, since it'll be a loooong time before I reveal this faction's origin across multiple prequel stories, but I figured now would be a good time to get the ball rolling especially since I'm waiting on Shamrock for most of the stuff happening on the mainland.
IC: Now, long after Scolisopod's failed attempt to take out Bat General Badrar, after multiple wars on the mainland, and as almost the entire Gorilla Tribe is focusing on said wars, Anastasia Gulikovsky makes her move. Meeting with Lusamine and Guzma after inviting them to her manor, the young gorilla exchanges pleasantries before sitting down at the round dining table with Aether Island's two leaders. Born 26 years ago to ex-Admiral Alexander Gulikovsky (after he was separated from his infamous ally Gibbs in a storm, and ironically washed ashore back on Aether Island, with his wife arranging for him to be kept from leaving the island as a form of "house arrest"), Anastasia has worked to redeem the Gulikovsky name in the eyes of Chima's populace, focusing on charity work and funding the creation of the island-wide city Aether Paradise using the wealth inherited from her father.
Lusamine: "I don't think I ever thanked you for the work you've done here, Ms. Gulikovsky. You've been one of the most important contributors to making Aether Island what it is this past decade. Don't tell our friend Lysandre, but I think he'll have to take second place in that regard, after you, ha-ha."
Anastasia: "Please, call me Anastasia. And speaking of Lysandre, where is he now, if you don't mind me prying?"
Anastatia's butler brings the drinks, an iconic pineapple juice beverage that originated here on Aether Island. Lusamine and Guzma, worn out from their work on this hot day, eagerly drink, before the older gorilla answers Anastasia's question.
Guzma: "I've been wondering the same thing. We haven't been in contact with him for a long while. I guess he prefers to work alone in that laboratory of his."
Anastasia: "Ah, I see. That's probably for the better, as it makes matters simpler here."
The lioness scientist raises an eyebrow, and puts down her drink.
Lusamine: "What do you mean, Guli-- Anastasia?"
Anastasia: "You see, I invited you two here in order to... facilitate a passing of the torch. I cannot stress enough how much help you two have been, but I believe it's time for the Saviorites to take action with the wonderful technology you've developed for us."
The lioness and gorilla sitting across from Anastasia are stunned for a couple seconds, frozen in their chairs, before Guzma erupts.
Guzma: "So-- so the rumors were true!! That faction exists?! Now you're taking over the is--?!"
Lusamine and Guzma suddenly collapse, kicking away the chairs from beneath them.
Lusamine: "Wha-- did you poison us?!"
Anastasia: "Perish the thought, my friend! I'm merely giving you two a nice, long, well-deserved rest... and after you wake up, you won't remember this meeting as it actually happened."
Anastasia: "What you will remember, however, is giving complete governorship of Aether Island to Anastasia Gulikovsky. That is also how the general public will see it... and how history will see it."
The gorilla and lioness grip the table (which is nailed to the floor) to prevent from falling down, as if that will prolong their fall into unconsciousness.
Guzma: "I don't... understand! What's your game, Gulikovsky? What are the Saviorites?!"
Anastasia: "Simply look around you, my friends. The Aether Foundation is the Saviorites, and the Saviorites are the Aether Foundation. You are Saviorites... well, honorary members, I suppose.
Lusamine: "That... makes no sense! I created the Aether Foundation, not you! It's a company of scientific pursuits founded in recent years, not some... obscure mercenary organization that's a footnote in the history books!"
Anastasia: "Tsk, tsk. I'm surprised you still don't understand. The Aether Foundation exists because I allowed it to exist. Who do you think were these private donors other than Lysandre? Who do you think was behind the 'Aether fund'? Who do you think were those so-called 'secret police'? It was us, the Saviorites. It was all us. All of this was MY creation, MY bloodline's legacy, but I let you think it was yours."
Lusamine: "No... I WON'T accept this! You will not take credit for my work!!!"
Anastasia crosses her arms and furrows her brow, with her eyes half-closed; a look of pure disappointment.
Anastaia: "After all I've done for this island and for you, thisis how you thank me... Then again, that's how it always is; the Saviorites do so much good for Chima, but are always painted as the villains. Well, no longer!"
Anastasia smiles and claps her hands together even as her two visitors collapse to the floor, unconscious.
Anastasia: "Now, there's much to be done."
The Saviorite leader's "butler" and "maid" arrive, the jingle of chain mail armor slightly audible beneath their outfits as they crouch down. The two bears gently but swiftly drag the unconscious lioness and gorilla out of the room, as Anastasia pulls a piece of paper from a bag strung across her Phoenix armor.
Anastasia: "I had a feeling that would upset you to a great extent, Lusamine. But hey, now you won't remember what I told you here, and can resume you work, minus governing this island, so everybody wins!"
Anastasia looks at the paper in her hand, where a list is written:
Seris Rax Lincoln Bliston Erdrik (Galvanor?)
Anastasia: "Those last two might not work out now... well, we'll see. I'll start with Ms. Rax. She and I are somewhat similar, so perhaps she'll be easy to gain an alliance with."
For now, however, the gorilla prepares her speech for when she "accepts" the title of Governess... while almost the entirety of the main Gorilla Tribe is focused on mainland matters.
Leanna: "Ugh, it seems you're a better fit for the Tiger Tribe than here anyway. I'll get someone to ferry you back over to the mainland."

IC: The captain ferries Tristram back to the mainland, coming to the shores of the Grassy Plains.

For now, however, the gorilla prepares her speech for when she "accepts" the title of Governess... while almost the entirety of the main Gorilla Tribe is focused on mainland matters.
Not long afterward, Anastasia makes a speech on a podium. Lusamine and Guzma stand to either side of her, having announced that they've officially transferred governorship of Aether Island to Anastasia Gulikovsky. After a generic but well put-together acceptance speech, the gorilla moves on to the more important part.
Anastasia: "...and it would be a disservice to say you're not all the creators of Aether Paradise, since this glorious city was a joint effort between all of us who call this island our home. However, before this city, or any of us, came to be, my ancestor Aether Gulikovsky colonized this island, and created a new faction here: the Saviorites."
There are murmurs of surprise in the crowd.
Anastasia: "A multi-species faction with the goal of protecting Chima, but very different from the modern day Forgotten, the Saviorites were the unsung heroes during the Age of Warlords. They targeted criminal organizations and up-and-coming terrorist groups before they could become threats to Chima at large... 'preemptive strikes' as they're called, were a subject of moral debate, you see, and so the Saviorites kept their existence secret in order to keep their controversial heroism in the shadows. Saving Chima while keeping themselves out of the tribes' sights, the Saviorites nevertheless planned to reveal themselves to fight the rogue Bears led by Icestrike, and would've likely joined the Leopards in their war against the Vultures and Icebears, had it not been for an unfortunate misunderstanding between the Saviorites and Leopards that made them soft enemies at the time."
The gorilla clears her throat, and gazes at the crowd dramatically.
Anastasia: "Aether's plans for stopping the Icebears didn't come to pass, however. For you see, Aether passed away some 126 years ago, exactly 100 years before I was born... and right in the middle of the Bear Civil War. The assassination of Aether Gulikovsky was one of Chima's greatest mysteries for over a century, especially since Leopard King Leodus used a spell to erase the memory of the Fire and Ice tribes from our ancestors' minds. However, through recently summoning Aether's Chi Ghost, I learned the truth from the man himself! It was the Icebears who assassinated Aether Gulikovsky!"
Some in the crowd are surprised, while others aren't.
Anastasia: "Known to the public only as the colonizer and first Governor of Aether Island, my ancestor had been trying to convince the Gorilla King to help the Bears defeat Icestrike and his rogues, so as not to reveal the Saviorites' existence in the middle of a war. Icestrike had his bears infiltrate this island and assassinate Aether, preventing this. With Aether gone, the Saviorites went through a dark era, unfortunately being led by less than heroic leaders for a time. Many, such as my father, Alexander Gulikovsky, unfortunately misunderstood Aether's will. Now though, it's time for the Saviorites to achieve their namesake, without hiding in the shadows!"
