A word from our management: Hello, this is Lewis Luggington, editor-in-chief and head writer and reporter of CPB. First, I'd like to apologize for the misnumbering of the last CPB Gold issue. It was actually Issue #4, not #3. Second, you're probably wondering why no news has come out lately, and it's because I'd set out to investigate the Ice beings, and I got, well, frozen. But I've now been freed from the Ice by a species of yellow cats (which I'll get back to you on), so CPB is back in action!
Chima Public Broadcast SilverIssue #6
Interview with the late Scorpion King Scorm and current King Scorpio, Part 1 (This interview was conducted in Lion City Prison, before King Scorm's untimely demise.)
1) Lewis: "Scorpion King Scorm and Prince Scorpio, what are both your opinions on the recent restoration of the Chi falls?" Scorm: -spits out his drink and laughs- “Like the falls ever did get unblocked, the mods would reject that clause!” Scorpio: “Uh dad... they did approve it, ya know?” -Scorm takes a drink again and spits it out again- Scorm: “THE BRICK IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD NOW?!?”
2) L: "What are your opinions on the other tribe leaders?" Scorm: “They all suck, just saying... Bliston my bro would agree too! Scorpio: “Dad’s really blunt sometimes...” -he rolls his eyes-
3) L: "How do you two think the 'war' will go?" [referring to the Chima—Alliance Crawler Empire War] Scorm: “To be honest, I dunno, probably until someone freezes time or something cold...” Scorpio: “I dunno, me neither...”
4) L: "What do you think of Scorpix' apparent plan to keep defending the bear forest Crawler villages no matter what? Do you view this as foolish, or logical? Or a mix of both?" [this was before Scorpix gave the Bear forest back to the bears] Scorm: “Go for it, Scorpix, I didn't make you a high general for nothing! You prove yourself to be competent and very-" -he is cut off by his son- Scorpio: “-STUPID!!! LEAVE THESE INLAND PEOPLES ALONE, SCORPIX!!!” -he slaps Scorm silly- Scorm: “Shut up with that Inland-loving attitude with yours! It’s not healthy for you!” -Scorpio whines like the little brat he is-
(Part 2 of this interview will be published in CPB Silver #7)

Interview with the late Scorpion King Scorm and current King Scorpio, Part 2
5) Lewis Luggington: "What do you think of the Uprising going on in Scorpion Cavern Castle?" Scorm: “What -chuckling- uprising?! The Uprising of the Crawler Empire?! Then yes, I do know that...” Scorpio: “Dad... you're... so uninformed...”
6) L: "Do you think Scorpix was wise to take 90% of the royal scorpion army into the bear forest Crawler villages no matter what? Do you view this as foolish, or logical? Or a mix of both?" Scorm: “If so, Deus Vult, Scorpix, Cavora wills it!” Scorpio: “Are we seriously the French and spreading forces too thin all over the place?” Scorm: “Stop it with this fourth-wall breaking thin, son!” -he slaps him-
7) L: "Are you two worried about your brother/uncle Scortica and your wife/mother Scorpia, both of which are still in the Cavern Castle during this Forgotten takeover?" Scorm: “I'm sure they're fine, except for my older brother, whom I want gone, so yes, I'm more towards my wife for more reasons than one.” Scorpio: “I don't wanna know any of the reasons, dad...” -he said feeling scared-
8) L: "Do you think peace can be obtained between the inland and Outland tribes?" Scorm: “Peace? HAH, UTTER MADNESS IS THAT?!?!” -He laughs evilly- Scorpio: “My father doesn't understand that peace concept very well, does he?”
9) L: "What do you think of the news that King Bliston had been captured by the Gorillas?" -Scorm spits his drink out again- Scorm: “WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-“ -Scorm.exe has stopped working- Scorpio: “Oh thank Cavora karma happened!” -Scorm.exe restarts- Scorm: “IMPOSSIBLE, HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN... it’s almost coincidental...”
10) L: "What do you two plan on doing once you are eventually released from Lion custody?" Scorm: “Go ahead and kick Lionel’s butt and promptly smash him, I'm sure that comment won't have grave repercussions!” -he grins- Scorpio: “You're telling me...” -he facepalms-
Scorpions retake the Outlands After the Imperial Remnant faction known as the Stinger Brotherhood freed the rest of the Scorpion Tribe from the Icebears' Glacier using the fire chi they'd gained from the Phoenix, Prince -now King- Scorpio led the regrouped tribe back into the Outlands. There, they built a new HQ (unsurprisingly on the surface, this time around) called Scorm City, and rebuilt their vehicle supply. The scorpions promptly began expanding, retaking their former territory, as well as the town of Corvidholme, and the Bats' former territory (with the exception of Black Fang Mountain, which is currently controlled by the Sabertoothes). The scorpions foiled an Icebear attack on Scorm City with their new fire chi, and reclaimed the remains of the old Scorpion Caverns, now a mining site called Crystal Crater. The Scorpion Tribe hasn't made a hostile move on either the inland or Ice tribes since their change in leadership, and is receiving shipments of chi and fire chi from the Lions and Phoenix, respectively. The Scorpions joined with the Spiders, now headed by the Great House Rax, forming the Arachnid Alliance, which expanded its territory north, and declared war on the Empire of Balance after the accidental death of Spider Queen Severix Rax at the hands of an Imperial Knight. Meanwhile, though, the Icebears have regrouped again, and are attacking Crystal Crater, seemingly resuming the Crawler—Ice Hunter War. More news on these wars coming, as they develop.

The NEW Chima Alliance? Despite being pressured by the Bears to remain underground, the Republic of the Claw resurfaced after the Ice Hunter tribe known as the Sabertooth Tigers froze the Crocodile Swamp. The Wolf and Lion tribes are currently in a political battle for the swamp, in light of the Croc King's freezing and the Queen's disappearance. However, the Republic of the Claw instead met with Wolf President Wol'jin and new Gorilla President Ghana formally. The leaders of the Republic of the Claw decided to terminate their 'alliance' with the Bears, in favor of allying with the Wolf and Gorilla republics. This new, large alliance became known as Unichi, and seems to be the replacement/evolution of the now more or less defunct Chima Alliance.
Game of Scorpions In other news concerning Unichi, scorpion politicians Craunus Maximus and Calloran Fen (the Republic of the Claw's Consuls) have just released an official statement, claiming that they are the true heirs to the Scorpion Tribe's leadership. To prove this, they have released a recording of the late Supreme Leader Scorpix naming them his successors, to Chima's Public Archives in Eagle Spire. It will be interesting to see what the young King Scorpio (trueborn son of the late King Scorm) will think of the Consuls' claim to leadership, as he currently leads the majority of the Scorpion Tribe, in the Outlands.
Bat Tribe Embassies and Activity Bat King Bliston, after moving to New Bat Island, has continued his heavy militarization of the Bat Tribe, despite announcing that he'd henceforth keep his tribe neutral towards the mainland conflicts, unless any tribes, Ice Hunter or otherwise, attacked his island. One must wonder why the Bats are building up their military power... With the assistance of the raven Rex, the Bats have established an embassy on top of Mount Cavora, where deals between the Bats and inlanders are intended to be held. Despite this, the Wolves, Gorillas, and Forgotten have all established trade deals directly with New Bat Island, and the Wolves now have an embassy on an islet near New Bat Island.
The Fire—Ice War Rages On Like when they attacked the Croc Swamp, the Ice Hunters have continued their push into the south, attempting to freeze and conquer territories for unknown reasons. The Sabertooth Tigers have attacked the Minor Tribes HQ and Gorilla HQ, as well as claiming Black Fang Mountain, parts of the Iron Mountains, and the formerly unclaimed land now called Southernfell. The majority of the Icebears have regrouped under the command of a man named Iroquois, and have attacked the Scorpion Tribe's chief mining site and former HQ location, Crystal Crater, in order to build a new HQ for the Icebear Tribe there. The Minor Tribes, Forgotten, and Arachnid Alliance are currently battling the Ice Hunters for control of the Minor Tribes HQ, Southernfell, and Crystal Crater, respectively. The many remaining Gorillas, having returned from Aether Island, are currently pushing the Sabertoothes from the Gorilla lands to Black Fang Mountain with their allies, which will be covered more extensively in CPB Gold #7. The most eventful battle in the north recently has been the Leopards' attack on the Sabertoothes' Iron Mountains base, Fort Sabran. The Forgotten and Empire of Balance destroyed Fort Sabran, destabilizing the Ice Hunters claim to the Iron Mountains. Then the Imperial forces there, having gained the high ground, launched an all-out laser and rocket barrage into the foggy valley where Fort Sabran had been. Sabertooth King Finglor had participated in the battle, and had been in Fort Sabran when it was destroyed; he hasn't been seen since, so his fate is currently unknown. However, the Empire of Balance has since expanded its territory into the empty part of the Iron Mountains formerly occupied by the Ice Hunters, so the remaining sabertoothes there must have either been destroyed by the earlier bombardment, or retreated.

Really kinda want Scorm back into Scorpion Power, really. I mean, i didnt make that important action in the outland topic for nothing (if it gets moderated correctly), i’m hoping it won’t get rejected, it’s an important plot point. An ultimate revenge.
