Since people are talking Black Panther, I feel as though I should say my opinion on it too.
It's a masterpiece, in simple terms. Felt very Shakespearean in the conflict, how everybody had very personal stakes in it. In that regard, the movie ascended to a level that no other superhero film in memory ever could. It's my favorite beyond any doubt.
I only ever did cringe at Ross' "What, you're going to need all the help you can get." Just... so cliche and it kind of took me out of the film. Just for two seconds.
That's my only nitpick.
I agree with what you're saying, but... The Dark Knight, Walt. The Dark Knight.
Also, I actually didn't mind that line because I think it was supposed to be a little cringey and awkward.

Yo I used to be the biggest TDK defender ever. I remember that was one of the first things I argued with Darth about.
My own invention, someday I will be famous for it. Oldest joke ever!
I think Luke pulled out the blue lightsaber to torment Kylo, you know he wants it. I hope they don't turn Rey into some "You can be anything" thing, that's all. And yes, Kylo was better, although, he was a little........mopey.
Both. I thought the storyline was too complicated and hard to follow, it was all over the place. And I thought it was WAY to forced between Finn and Rose. Star Wars usually doesn't have forced romances, Anakin and Padme was pretty good, Han and Leia was excellent, but Finn and Rose are awkward. I think Finn and Rey would go way smoother. I will be honest, I never liked Ackbar, and I don't like Holdo. I just don't like admirals. He had more of a role in this one.
Oh. Can you explain how it works?
No, the oldest joke ever is "I am a poet and I know it." I said "I am NOT a poet and I know it." which makes it a brand new and totally original joke.
Yeah, that makes sense, I just really like the green saber. I don't think they will. She'll still be a Jedi, but I think there will be less restrictions than in the Prequels. Kylo is always mopey. Or angry. He has two moods.
I really enjoyed the storyline, because I really liked DJ and because I found the setting really interesting. However, what you're saying is a common complaint, and I tend to agree about the Finn-Rose relationship. But, as much as I love the prequels, I gotta say Padme-Anakin is waaaaay more awkward, IMO. But to each his own. Opinions vary. It doesn't matter much to me, because romance is probably the thing I watch Star Wars for the least.
How can you not like Ackbar?!?
Yep, which was really cool because everyone loves Poe.
I invented my own poetry form, sort of, basically, essentially. I thought it was "I'm a poet and I didn't even know it."
Sure, everyone does. It was the first saber in Star Wars that wasn't red or blue. xD Yeah, I hope so. I don't like the Jedi in the prequels, but I liked the Jedi in the Originals, and these sequel Jedi are really interesting. I found Luke Skywalker's new view of it all to be really fascinating and cool.
Does Kylo ever smile? Is he ever cheerful?
Well, Star Wars movies can't have too complicated plots, or the kiddies won't understand it. How was Anakin and Padme awkward? I mean, the age difference, and the bad acting on Hayden Christensen's part wasn't the greatest, and it was kind of drawling in Attack of the Clones, but it was really a rather epic romance when you think about the whole thing. And then you think about the fact that these two characters are the parents of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, and it really makes you appreciate it. But, yeah, I don't watch Star Wars just for romance.
He's....annoying.
Sure, he's pretty cool. Except I did like it when Leia bawled him out in the beginning of TLJ.
