Lego has long since abandoned it's original life and spirit in favor of a genius business model that will allow them to live forever. In further detail, Lego will most likely be bought out by Disney and work the same way Marvel and Star Wars did after their buyout. I would think Lego will continue to create their three-year long themes. Lego is planning on making the bricks out of pants by 2020 I believe, so that will negate any concerns about plastic one may have. One thing we can definitely count on is the money hungry execs bringing back old themes to give people like us some nostalgic reasons to return to Lego.
Not only have they lost their original life and spirit -- even their business model sucks
Any business model under which the LMBs and galleries had to be shut down in favor of an app with LESS functionality than what was already available is a terrible business model.
Then you should run for Lego CEO, what your saying is very smart. You should try, dude.
What will LEGO be like 33 years from now? Will LEGo bricks have electric circuits in them that make the human mind more creative? Will the entire world forget Bionicle? Or will Bionicle become one of the top 3 biggest franchises in the world.
We all know what PC's are made of. They're made of...um....uh....plastic? I don't know yet. But what if PC's in 2050 could be built with LEGO? What possibilities would it allow?
What do you think the future 33 years from now holds for LEGO? Does LEGO even have a future? Hopefully it does, but hoping is the best we can do right now.
Interesting, I never thought about this but I wonder if LEGO will still be physical.

*Sigh*
Please...just leave it alone. You really don't need to revive so many old threads.

Why do you want me to stop so badly? I don't want to revive the threads (except for one or two I've found) I'm just trying to complete this fun and near-impossible goal. If you really want me to stop, I will consider it, can you at least tell me why you want me to stop?

Sorry if my wording came off as harsh. I don't badly want you to stop, I just don't get why you're doing this. A lot of the threads you've replied to are really old and have been deserted for a very long time now, and I just don't see the point in bringing them back. You can bring back some old threads that you may enjoy, but I feel like you may be taking things too far. If you're still determined to do this, I won't stop you. I just don't think this is necessary, but if you think it is, you can do it. I don't mean any offence.

It's alright. For me, it's an achievement that must be completed, I like beating records and doing stuff no one (within family and friends, of course, not extreme stuff) has done. I like to see how much I can do by means of writing 5,000 words on my story in a day or posting on every thread. I really want to do this, to see if I can. If you would prefer, I will not post on your threads if they are deserted. None taken.

Well, if you have something meaningful to add, it is okay to revive all those deserted threads. However, if you don't, it just becomes pointless.
