Blitz stands up and shakes his hand, "Ah yes, we are hoping the bats will honor us with their presence, we hopefully needn't wait long... Anything on your mind at the moment you wish to discuss off record?"
Praetor: "I don't know why any bats would show up. We don't have any affiliation with them anymore." Consul (in response to the last question): "Well, I'm wondering why you've made our people come aboveground and are trying to seal our tunnels...we did go underground because you didn't want us above ground, after all."
*Blitz smiles* "If you recall, it was not you being above ground, or underground that was the issue...it was you bringing down our HQ, and our homes, that made us wish ypur race exterminated, for a while... Now, I am looking to discuss a...mutual development..."

Praetor: "A-ba-ba-ba-ba, wait, wait. The destruction of your cave was actually an accident. But yes, I suppose we're guilty of the rest." Consul: "The bottom line is, 90% of the scorpions here aren't soldiers. Actually, technically 100% of the scorpions here now aren't soldiers. But you see, these scorpions—we weren't the soldiers who (accidentally) destroyed your HQ. We're just civilians who don't want to live in the Outlands anymore, with those gross fogs and monstrous predator plants. The Crawler Empire fell to the Ice Hunters during our group's evolution into the Republic of the Claw, and the other splinter factions have either fallen or been absorbed back into the Scorpion Tribe (which I heard has returned to the Outlands). The Eagle and Croc territories were the only inland regions the Republic inhabited, but you wanted us gone, so it was our beleif that going underground was the logical compromise, yes?"

"Accident or not, it did cave in... And actually, we are diacovering that your popup is is mostly civilian with some police and guard units, but, then again I guess moat of your army was destroyed by us amd the nrw ice threat. The thing is, we have experienced hostilities from the crocs, which are affiliated with you, so we needed to take out their support. Actually, your tunnels are a blessing, it is a beautiful way for me to save thousands of man hours and materials, but alas, that is another conversation for another time. You going underground poses a serious issue for us, which is what we plan to discuss when the bats arrive. No, going underground was logical, but not a resolution."

Consul: "Our old army wasn't destroyed by you, it's actually freed from the ice and in the Outlands now. But the small military we have here is made up of some of the scorpions who escaped the freezing in the first place. Remember, this isn't an Imperial holdout. We've created what we want to be a pacifist government. The Republic has no interest in living on the surface, be it the surface of the inlands or the Outlands. If we stay underground, the only thing we'll be doing that'll affect the inlands is building new vehicles for our allies above. However, I was not aware that the crocs were being hostile to the Bears. We're really only allied with the crocs because they're allied with the eagles...it's a circle, you see. We can't exactly break off our relations with the crocs while they're still loosely allied with the eagles. We'll need to work something out with the eagles." Shamrock

"Hmmm... I wonder how much longer the bats will be? Oh, so the crocs are news to you? Well, I suppose that's understandable. So, your army is released from their cold tombs? What are they planning to do? Regrouo and attack?"

Consul: "I doubt the bats will come. When the Crawler Empire was around, the bats told us about an "unknown Empire on the West Sea" they'd discovered. I personally didn't believe them at first, but now that they're free from the ice, the bats seem to be fixated on getting away from the mainland and colonizing a large island far away to weaponize against the unknown Empire. I don't know the location of the island. Right now the bats are in the north looking to rescue a scientist from the Ice Hunters, so if you want to negotiate with them, I think you'll need to go up there. I don't think the rebuilt Scorpion Tribe is planning to attack. Scropio always seemed to have a soft spot for the inlands, so he'll probably just focus on fighting the Ice Hunters, like the bats are doing." Shamrock

"Well, now let's start the meeting officially... We need to know that you won't wait until your forces are strong enough again to attack us."

(OOC: On a semi-unrelated note: If the RP gets reset, imma call dibs on the Eagles, thought up a great character whom can act as an cowardly 1ic, and will often surrender his tribe for reasons of peace and prosperity. And if need the Land of Chima gets redrawn (by me), i’ll make him a bit of an imperialist. )

Consul: "We don't plan on attacking anyone, as we've decided underground is a better environment for us to live in, but we do reserve the right to build vehicles for the eagles if they choose to go to war. However, we won't build war vehicles for the eagles if they choose to go to war with the bears, due to this meeting. It's a little complicated, but you get what I mean, right?"

OOC: If the RP ever gets reset, I would hope to lead the Scorpion, Leopard, and Sabertooth tribes. However, the RP shouldn't be reset anytime soon, I think.

"Yes, I see. However, how can we take your word for it? To put it bluntly, we would like to see if there is a way we can become allies..."

(OOC: Yeah, we share our tribes! And maybe you’ll might make something akin to the Forgotten. But what makes you say the embolded? Guess our fanon fourth season is hyping you up, eh? )

OOC: Simple: whether or not we end up introducing West Sea tribes, the RP shouldn't be reset before the Great Illumination either way.
