An old republic tv show or something set between 6&7 seem very interesting and what Id hope for too. But Id like to see a live action Old Republic film trilogy or a tv series instead of animation.
true. i mean in the last three and a half seasons of the clone wars the animation(IMO) could work
i think it was rumored that there would be something in TOR but who knows(it was alos rumored that kylo ren puts on darth vaders mask but other then that wears purple)
BTW what if the younglings smashed anakin if pretty funny(replace the word)
I agree about making an animated OR TV series with the graphics quality of CW Seasons 3,4,5 &6. Sorry but Im confused by what you meant of "other then that wears purple". An if you were refering to Kylo Ren wearing Darth Vaders mask in 8 I think thats unlikley as metaphorically Kylo doesnt feel ashamed to wear the mask an embrace the darkside anymore as he has completed his masters final test of loyalty by poking his papa off a bridge.
Although its highly likely Kylo will wear at least one of Vaders many capes or a new one meant to look like it based of an image from the new battlefront game.
Also it was rumoured that he'd have VADERS lightsaber but he seems to have repaired his crappy impractical one which is so silly.
Did you know that Darth Revan and Bane where due to appear in TCW S3 before The Son as ghosts on mortis.
Hopefully the episodes won't be filler episodes. I saw the trailer for it and it was great.
This season will have one large story arc spanning across the entire season (like Ninjago), not seperate stories for each episode like this first three seasons.
I know your jokin but that would actually make allot of ironic sense because Thrawns come uppance would be that he'd suffer is defeat/ lose his mind to the cold looking creature with many arms like Bendu implied. Which seems like quite a fitting defeat for an intellectual evil genius to go mad then be put out of his misery by a mad man like Saw perhaps. Then that would link the series well to RO. Or Thrawn could survive Rebels and appear after ROTJ perhaps in the new battlefront 2 campaign or during the last Jedi working for the first order.
I know. I saw a video about Thrawn's fate and they said "Bor Gullet" as a joke, then realized how much sense that would actually make. And Saw Gerrara was in the season 4 trailer, you know!
Ignore everything I say, to the best of your ability.
I somewhat agree, but it is a kid's show. A television show to indoctrinate small children into the Star Wars franchise. I only watch for Hera, Kanan, Ashoka and Vader. The rest are all meh. To Disney, they're money.
I'm not sure if you watched the last episode of season three, but there is a dark moment where Commander Sato sacrifices himself for Ezra. It doesn't show much, but Ezra is obviously torn up. Parents probably wont let their kids watch it if they showed too much. Sato's sacrifice is a tough topic to explain to wee ones. I'm still scarred from the fried Luke scene in Episode VI.
I wholeheartedly agree about Marek and Kota, but I'm starting to rather they stay non-canon as Disney will surely water it down. Marek is far too violent for child viewership. Unless Disney decides to go the new Wolverine route, they should leave it alone. I'm finally coming to terms with my head-canon.
Rebels is basically a big toy advertisement. I honestly don't mind though.
Thats what I dislike about Disneys ownership of SW in that they are clearly focusing more on the commercial aspect/profitability of the company rather than the stories making them like the galactic empire. George Lucas genuinly cared about what he was creating and not just about money which I want to see more of though have been seeing grow like Gareth Edwards vision for RO along with passionate fans getting involved with great insight and knowledge about the universe like Doug Chiang,Kathleen Kennedy and JJ.Abrams.
If you look at allot of the young adult/adult SW books released at the moment like Bloodlines,Aftermath Life Debt,RO Catalyst,Ahoska, Rebels new dawn,Tarkin and Lords of the Sith their boring filler with terribly anticlimatic plots.
You would need the ridiculous patience of a Jedi master to read them all properly page to page which I did at first but now mostly skim read them all or read up their story summary on wookieepedia. An Ive noticed these filler books which mainly consist of dialouge are especially those created for well known main characters because they know they can tease diehard fans along with a thirst for SW knowledge like me :tounge: . Well Im fed up and wont read a book without a story. Although there is some exceptions like Aftermath Empires end though you had to get through 2 books and an understanding of the characters for it to get somewhat interesting with the interludes being the best part, Dark disciple was a thrilling read along with Heir to the empire which I think along with Tarkin was one of the first canon books and was a vibrant adventure.
But books like battlefront twighlight company and Lost stars which had allot of creative freedom were much better as the were based losely around main characters used mainly through mentions or cameos and were rollercoaster journey films like the whole SW concept is meant to be as well they visited some familar locations in old SW lore like Kuat whilst adding things fresh. Sorry for going off the Rebels S4 topic on a tangent their but I had to get this off my chest and I am known for tangents.
I hope they do something different. That would be waaay too predictable.
Your right, But I wonder what Bendu meant about Thrawns death related to many arms surrounding him in a cold embrace. Ewoks or gungans perhaps or maybe Dexter Jetster as he has lots of arms?
maybe it means arms as in 'weapons'?
I can't believe I had the same awful signature for nearly 8 years. Sorry for disappearing for 2 months, life happened for a bit.

Bor Gullet?
As if the GRAND ADMIRAL would fall for a GELATINOUS TENTACLED SLUDGE MONSTER.

Did anyone else here that Galen Marek(Starkiller) was considered to be an inquisitor type of villan in Rebels? Im glad they left him out an having him be an inquisitor and not Vaders apprentice wouldve been an insult to the classic character. He also wouldve made rebels even more messier in terms of consistency with RO however he could of easily been the one to take out Ezra/Kanann without having Vader involved.

Think we watched the same stream. I disagree though. I'd rather him be in-universe rather than Legends. He was also intended to be in a later series of CW. Honestly, they could have made Rebels as TFU instead. The characters are basically a carbon copy. I want to see Vader finish them all, but that;s probably too brutal for a children's show.

Did u see the new trailer? It looks like the best season much darker and therefore I recon its going to be sader. It seems even more likely now that Ezra could survive the show an become something beyond a Jedi like Ahsoka.

I'd like to see Vader return too an perhaps have another confrontation with Ahoska as the last one felt silly and anticlimatic.

I feel like Ahoska should live, but the rest should be destroyed by Vader. He needs to be more evil. He's kinda weak.

If there is only one trailer than yes, I have watched it. Yeah, it kinda sounds like the kids will die, especially with the past tense narration. However, Star Wars is set in the past, so maybe the creators are trying to trick us into thinking this season will get dark.
