Everyone it is highly unlikly that we're not going to see the battle of Scarrif from at least Hera & Chopper in the Ghosts perspective as it was offically said by Dave Filoni. This leads me to think if we will ever find out what happens to Hera an Chopper at the end of Rebels. But we are bound to at least in a book or comic.
Also who thinks the show could definetly of had a 5th season or at least a 4th with a full 22 or 25 episodes to make it special? Yet again my jedi senses tell me that this show is being rushed because Disney want to axe it asap probably due to its inconsistencies and the poor jumpy way it looks to be tieing into to RO an with the rest of the saga. An did anyone see that cool new 8 eight eyed flower head alien for the new Han solo film which looks similar to a Gran?
Thats what I dislike about Disneys ownership of SW in that they are clearly focusing more on the commercial aspect/profitability of the company rather than the stories making them like the galactic empire. George Lucas genuinly cared about what he was creating and not just about money which I want to see more of though have been seeing grow like Gareth Edwards vision for RO along with passionate fans getting involved with great insight and knowledge about the universe like Doug Chiang,Kathleen Kennedy and JJ.Abrams.
If you look at allot of the young adult/adult SW books released at the moment like Bloodlines,Aftermath Life Debt,RO Catalyst,Ahoska, Rebels new dawn,Tarkin and Lords of the Sith their boring filler with terribly anticlimatic plots.
You would have to be a Jedi to have the ridiculous patience of a Jedi master to read them all properly page to page which I did at first but now mostly skim read them all or read up their story summary on wookieepedia. An Ive noticed these filler books which mainly consist of dialouge are especially those created for well known main characters because they know they can tease diehard fans along with a thirst for SW knowledge like me :tounge: . Well Im fed up and wont read a book without a story. Although there is some exceptions like Aftermath Empires end though you had to get through 2 books and an understanding of the characters for it to get somewhat interesting with the interludes being the best part, Dark disciple was a thrilling read along with Heir to the empire which I think along with Tarkin was one of the first canon books and was a vibrant adventure.
But books like battlefront twighlight company and Lost stars which had allot of creative freedom were much better as the were based losely around main characters used mainly through mentions or cameos and were rollercoaster journey films like the whole SW concept is meant to be as well they visited some familar locations in old SW lore like Kuat whilst adding things fresh. Sorry for going off the Rebels S4 topic on a tangent their but I had to get this off my chest and I am known for tangents.
It adds to the discussion, so I see no issues there.
I guess I'm just watching Rebels for something interesting to happen. They had a huge lead up to Maul and it's like they ran out of time to actually make anything of it. I only really like the interactions between Vader and Ashoka and the two Ghost Captains. Hopefully it gets a bit gritty, but then again, love may be too adult for child audiences. I think the problem is everything is watered down for kids, even LEGO and LEGO Life.
The focus on sales is not new to SW. Ever since the prequels, it's been rampart. My brothers and I had heaps of SW toys and none of us actually enjoyed the films because they weren't gritting and engaging like the originals. They actually brought out a LEGO Rogue Shadow from Force Unleashed (The only SW books I have) it's all business.
Ironically, Disney made the EU non-canon as they couldn't make an engaging story with such limitations which is something they managed to do with a clean slate. It's all for pleasing the masses. Ever since the prequels, the SW target audience has been kids, not the adults who grew up with the originals. Now that the prequel kids are adults, they are being pushed aside for a next wave of income. I don't believe this is just a Disney thing. It wont go away, but I hope they'll at least make something out of Rebels.
I watch Rebels for something interesting to happen too which occasionally does like in S2 which was great but the whole things still underwhelming.
An about SW always being focused on the commercial side of things I guess your right as the merchendise of the OT was partly what lead to the films success like the action figures. I also fully understand about wipeing the slate clean but I dont think I'll ever get the fact of replacing those great stories with terribly naff money making filler. Buts thats disney for you an I guess its those with the money who make the decisions but at least Disney is trying to please the fans.
I also think the potential of the last jedi ruining SW is very high and I didnt like the cheap TFA copycat teaser. Mark Hamill agrees with not liking the last jedi in how his character was written which I dont mind but he said he really challenged Rian Johnson writing and didnt like TFA for not reuniting Han Luke and Leia all in one scene an he is a very intelligent experienced guy. So if Luke Skywalkers getting mad at Disney an you can tell actresses like Daisy Ridley do too from he body language I think we can expect to see some change hopefully in the right direction. An about rebels again. I would've been fine with it as long as it wasnt cannon like the Lego Freemaker adventures an was a thing of its own SW related for children.
Who thinks Rukh will kill Thrawn again with his legendery knife?
I hope they do something different. That would be waaay too predictable.
Your right, But I wonder what Bendu meant about Thrawns death related to many arms surrounding him in a cold embrace. Ewoks or gungans perhaps or maybe Dexter Jetster as he has lots of arms?

Bor Gullet?
Ignore everything I say, to the best of your ability.

i never really liked rebels for reasons
the animation was much better on the clone wars(season 3-the actual episodes of 6 mainly)
the characters arn`t the best that they could be(personlly i would have in one of the first few episodes sabine have a flashback and ezra have a flashback then build up from there)
the lightsabers are so not realistic even to the clone wars or to episode four
however i hope that their next series takes place in one of two times the new republic(between RotJ and TFA) or the old republic however TOR has many times like tThe sith wars, the new sith wars, jedi civil war,and the great galastic war

True. I always felt that Luke would differ from the Jedi ways, thus becoming a Grey Jedi. Disney seems to have Luke putting too much stock (IMO) into the Jedi Code. Hopefully Disney switches things up. The next season of Rebels looks a little more eventful than the previous ones. I agree though, it does seem pointless to have something (Rebels) as canon when nothing ever happens, or has a purpose for happening. It's more a filling up space without stepping on future toes kind of show. It keeps my head canon alive, so I don't mind. It hasn't really changed much, except let people know how the Rebellion knew Obi's whereabouts. The rest doesn't really connect to anything else.

I know your jokin but that would actually make allot of ironic sense because Thrawns come uppance would be that he'd suffer is defeat/ lose his mind to the cold looking creature with many arms like Bendu implied. Which seems like quite a fitting defeat for an intellectual evil genius to go mad then be put out of his misery by a mad man like Saw perhaps. Then that would link the series well to RO. Or Thrawn could survive Rebels and appear after ROTJ perhaps in the new battlefront 2 campaign or during the last Jedi working for the first order.

Hmm... I disagree. Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley and all the others seem to be fine. Mark Hamill speaking out wasn't him being angry with Disney- he was just saying what he believed would be better- in his opinion. I don't think that Star Wars is getting too profit oriented either.... they seem to be wanting to please the fans, not be greedy. All in all, I am satisfied. I feel these movies will be great! The Last Jedi trailer was amazing, and many fans think so. I agree with you on Rebels, though. Most of it is just filler.

Perhaps your right about Mark Hamill & Daisy Ridley. Disney are doing a fantastic job overall and a darker Luke Skywalker would be very interesting to me but I see what hamill meant about reuniting the trio. Oh well it cant be done. Im looking forward to those old sciff speeders going up against FO walkers on that salt flat planet and I like the way the speeders fins are cutting into the ground and releasing that red smoke gas as if trying to intimidate their enemy what about you? I recon pirates or smugglers along with members of the resistance will have to team up an piolt those rusty hover craft as you can see their orange jumpsuits.

An old republic tv show or something set between 6&7 seem very interesting and what Id hope for too. But Id like to see a live action Old Republic film trilogy or a tv series instead of animation.

true. i mean in the last three and a half seasons of the clone wars the animation(IMO) could work
i think it was rumored that there would be something in TOR but who knows(it was alos rumored that kylo ren puts on darth vaders mask but other then that wears purple)
BTW what if the younglings smashed anakin if pretty funny(replace the word)
